I have never felt more ignored or disregarded as a patient than I did here. For the first, I have a chronic condition and I knew which kinds of medications did not work but I was prescribed those anyway rather than something new which did work. For the second, I was given a treatment that was equivalent of a bandaid on a large wound, and it caused the problem to get worse because it was ignored even longer. For the third, I was simply dismissed without any examination and told I was too young to have the problem I explained. I went to Urgent Care several times while I was a patient of this practice because I knew it would be better than being ignored.

The practice…read morechanged locations and merged with another practice in September 2017, but didn't bother to communicate that to me when I made my appt., only 2 months later. They should have sent out notices to all patients. When I called to ask where they were located in the new office park (after reading the sign on the door at the old location, and driving to the new location where none of the buildings are marked, and the practice was not added to the outside directory!) they were rude again. I told the doctor that and she said they were having a busy, stressful day because something happened. 1. I don't care. 2. That's not an excuse for being rude. Then the prescription that the doctor sent to my pharmacy electronically at 10 am never made it there by 2 pm. I called the doctor back and the woman I spoke to asked me about if I needed it today. I said, yes I do. She told me that the patient portal was slow. Again, I don't care. Just call in the prescription then. They finally called it in but never let me know. That's so rude! I had to call the pharmacy again to make sure it was there. I've gone to the old practice (2 doctors) only when I needed a prescription because it was close to work, and I usually got in and out quickly. Dr. Werbel is pleasant enough but I get the feeling it's all business. This new merged practice is around the corner from the old one so it's still convenient for me. After the unorganized mess I experienced today, I don't know if I'll go back.

I wanted some facial rejuvenation and instead I got scarring of the skin and uneven facial contouring. The procedure was painful. More than 1/2 way through the procedure more of the local anesthetics had to be administered. Before the anesthesia took effect he jammed more threads, and I yelled. Very aggressive procedure for an older women to undergo. Next time I will seek a doctor who specializes in dermatology or cosmetic surgery, not internal medicine. A board certified plastic surgeon is best! I've learned my lesson. On their website they pose the only risk is: Some bruising or mild swelling. THIS IS FALSE. I have dimpling & hyperpigmentation which still exists as of this posting. Downtime after the treatment: I had to rest in a separate room at their facility for 35 minutes. I was light-headed and disoriented. I had significant swelling. I needed to ice my cheeks several times each day for the next 3 days. I could not get on with my day! I will require derma fillers now to fill in the dimpling.
