They offered finished one as well as various thickness cord on a spool. It was all economical. After I got what I wanted there, I was looking for rubber ducks. I was in a rental Jeep and had been gifted a duck - and of course I wanted to reciprocate! Yep. Hobby Lobby has rubber ducks!!! LOL It's a good thing I was visiting from Florida. I don't have a store near me. I would have spent a lot more money if I didn't have to fly with just a carry on!

We were able to pick up newer and older Gundam models as well as some accessories to help with the build. It also happened to be 10% off on all models when we were there and that was great! I am all for squishy hunting with my son but I draw the line at driving over 30 minutes anywhere for them so this was our compromise hoping they got at least a few in as well. Unfortunately they are a franchise, and the only squishes they had were overpriced knockoffs of what my son was looking for but it is still a cool store depending on what you are looking for. There are tons of sets to put together from mini houses to airplanes. The staff working were really friendly and helpful too. I would recommend this store if you are someone interested in crafting miniature models. My son is too young for this right now, but we definitely enjoyed looking at them all!

A second, larger train layout is located around the corner, where the Hocking Valley Model Railroad Club has a very nice set up. They have some good step stools available too, so those who need it can get a better look at all of the neat details and the trains. The store offers a wide variety of hobby models, including not only a good selection of train items, of course, but also planes, monster trucks, and even some neat animals and dinos. They've expanded into just about everything which means that there's a bunch of small sections of just random junk in among the RC cars and "collectibles". The smoke alone should be enough to tell any collector that these guys aren't serious and will sell you depreciated junk and call it a collectible. First time I couldn't get anyone's attention to purchase a hobby knife. After about 10 minutes of flatout being ignored while they stocked or talked or whatever they were doing. Second time, they didn't have what I needed, third time I went in saw they wanted $10 for a bottle of paint that was so old it couldn't be mixed back together and walked back out. This place is a train wreck and is less a business than it is "The owner couldn't afford his hobby and thought he could turn it into a business." Which he is utterly failing at.

The calendar looked to be packed with opportunities to play various tabletop games and cards.
