I received a surprise flower delivery on 12/23/21 from Cardell Floral and I was working from home online and on a conference call when the delivery person tried to deliver the flowers to my home. Unfortunately I was unable to answer the door. The good thing is that they didn't just leave the flowers on my doorstep but took them with them so they wouldn't freeze and sent me a text with a call back number. My mother who ordered the flowers for me, called them and the delivery person was already in a different city. They then came all the way back to my house to hand deliver them to me. Seriously did a HORRID job of the flowers I ordered to be delivered to my mother-in-law for Mother's Day! Literally looked NOTHING like what I ordered and looked like a 5 year old shoved a handful in a vase without arranging them. Flowers were cut too short for the vase except random carnations that were sticking out 6 inches above the rest of the flowers. Never purchasing from this place again. read more

At the time I'm writing my review this lovely flower shop has two stars, and I feel this is very misleading and caused only by the small sample size of reviews. I live in California but have family in Minnesota and I know nothing about flowers or what looks good. Every year for major flower receiving holidays (mother's day, valentines day, etc.) I call this place and say "Ok, I'm an idiot but I have this much money and I know the recipient likes (insert color / flower here). What can you do?" The kind woman on the other end tells me it's no problem, she'll come up with something special and a few days later I get a phone call from the recipient exclaiming how stunned they are by the arrangement. This place is amazing and it pains me to see them have such a low and undeserved rating. Try them out! read more

I highly recommend this florist. I ordered through Teleflora and the other florist they tried couldn't deliver same day. They called Cardell and Cheryl offered to deliver them personally on her way home off the clock. That was so sweet! I had a mix up with my dates and she told me I could cancel even though she made them. I will be calling them direct every time to order from them for their extremely nice and generous customer service. I needed to get flowers to my wife for her first day back to work and I called up Cardell at 9 am, ordered the bouquet, which arrived at her office by 10:00. The flowers were beautiful! Even better than the picture online of the arrangement I ordered. Also, it's been over a week since we got them and they are still just as pretty as the day they arrived. Absolutely, without a doubt the best florist in the cities. Every arrangement I have ordered from them has been fresh and beautifully designed. It is obvious they have years of experience and endless talent and imagination. They are always willing to work in your budget, but they are also spectacular for special occasions. Delivery is also reasonable. The shop itself is also incredible. It's like a new world when you step in the door. If you need any gifts, furniture, jewelry, plants, etc., they have the best one-of-a-kind merchandise. Their employees are also very friendly. It is obvious they really care about their customers. I placed an online order for flowers and a box of chocolates and got a call from the shop stating that they were out of that type of flower and offered something else that was $10 cheaper. That was the first problem. I went with it since I had already paid via my credit card. Well today after delivery of flowers for mothers day, found out that the $10.95 box of chocolates were not delivered with flowers so had to call the shop and they sent someone back out. This was my first and last experience with this shop as this is unacceptable. How does ones order not get read properly prior to delivery and why not post on your website if something is no longer available??. read more
