For my anniversary I wanted to get something that was different than the normal arrangement. I went thru at least 4 other sites before I got to Precious Petals. Don't get me wrong, they all had beautiful arrangements, but they were the standard bouquets of various flowers. Got to the Precious Petals site and again, same arrangements until bam, there it was - Zen Artistry! Delivery was for the next day when later when I noticed that autocorrect had changed the address. Called Precious Petals, and though late, the lady corrected the address for me. Next day, I get a call from the delivery lady "No one home, can I leave it on the porch?" She must've detected my hesitancy because I receive a text with a picture of the flowers in front of the door! My wife comes to the house and is blown away by the arrangement. Thanks Precious Petals for scoring points for me. Hopefully they will create more of these unique arrangements 'cuz the bar has been raised. read more

This is the most amazing florist. My daughter lives out of state and has been ordering my flowers from Precious Petals for my birthday and Mothers Day every year for the last 4 or 5 years and have been beautiful, the arrangement and flowers and vase. I got a beautiful arrangement on Saturday and my roses are still as gorgeous, full and a velvety red. If you aren't familiar with florists in the area, Precious Petals in WSP are the best. My fiancé ordered flowers through telaflora (spelling) but I received the flowers from PPF - I didn't want my fiancé to know I was somewhat disappointed with the flowers but the fillers were dead and browning and the 3 roses had browning petals, then I had two Lily's. That did not seem worth $100!!! I was shocked and called to see what could be done, the woman's response was that be ordered it through an online company and there was not much she could do and that the protocol is "picking the best flowers you can" - that response was odd to me, as if she didn't want to take responsibility for PICKING and arranging the flowers, to me that is not telaflora's responsibility - they did not physically choose and arrange bad flowers. I called telaflora and surprise surprise- nothing they could do "contact the florist that arranged them. No one willing to take responsibility. Lesson learned. read more

I ordered the flowers Monday morning and they offered same day delivery. I found out that the people I was sending them to were out of town and wanted to post pone the delivery. They answered the phone right away and it was super quick and easy to change the delivery date on such a short notice! Extremely friendly also! Will definitely order from them again. read more

I called Precious Petals and spoke to Reba about ordering a bouquet for my daughter's birthday, needing same day delivery. We had dinner plans at a nearby restaurant and I asked if they could deliver them prior to our reservation. All I asked for was a beautiful fresh cut bouquet and said my daughter loves whites and pastels. When we arrived at the restaurant, the most gorgeous bouquet was waiting for us on our table. The flowers were spectacular. It was the perfect touch for her birthday and I could not have been happier with Reba's ability to put something together on such short notice. I wanted to order from a local florist so found Precious Petals on Roberts Street in Saint Paul Minnesota. Their website described an arrangement I thought would be right for my father's birthday. They Asian style promised to: "harmonize the five elements within a space, bring good fortune and prosperity, and improve the flow of "chi" with a money tree! Precious Petals promised the tree was planted in a beautiful asian styled square black container, and adorned around the base with deerfoot moss, plus black and white rocks. What could be more opposite from the elegant arrangement than an orange jar? I called Precious Petals to inquire why I had not been told about this decision to make such a big change. With great offense they said they have the right to make substitutions whenever necessary. If I wanted the original container they had sold to me when I called the shop, perhaps I could pick it up, but there would be a charge. Since I live in New York this would be hard to do. I also asked, why wasn't I called and told they were going to make this switch? Well, according to a very entitled woman who is manager, "they take great pride in their customers!" and switching is within her rights. I told her that I think she had made another mistake. This is quite clear by the way they treated me. They may say they take pride in their customers, but really they should take more pride in their products. read more

I would not recommend this florist. A long term employee lost his young son to cancer and we wanted to order a nice arrangement for the service. I found one on A Precious Petals Florist (Inver Grove Heights, MN) website and called to order it. The florist did not have the particular flowers and colors for this arrangement in stock, so I asked him to put something comparable together within the same $103 price range. (The original one I found was "Gracious Lavender Basket-Std", Item #T235-1A, which had several dozen flowers shown in the photo). Upon attending the wake, I was embarrassed by the arrangement that A Precious Petals Florist delivered. I thought it looked like a $35 arrangement, plus the card was not attached. It certainly did not represent our intentions well at all. The President of our company also made a comment about its diminutive size. It was basically five gladiolas, 5 carnations, 5-6 roses and fillers -- certainly not worth $100. I called the florist the next day to explain our disappointment and the lack of the sentiments card. He seemed surprised at my disappointment with the arrangement. He did apologize, but made no attempt to rectify the over--priced, embarrassing arrangement that was sent on our behalf! read more

I received a beautiful bouquet from my sister for my birthday. They were so pretty that I checked to see who the florist that created them was. A Precious Petals Florist will be the florist that I call from now on when I want to send flowers locally! The bouquet had lovely Autumn flowers. They even called to let me know that they left them for me so I didn't miss them. The message said weather was in the 40's and going down to freezing that night, so I should check the front porch. Do not order flowers from this place unless you want to be embarrassed. I ordered a flower arrangement for a funeral and what they delivered was nothing close to what I ordered from their own book. I could have done a better job myself with just $10 and some flowers from Target. I do not recommend whatsoever. read more

DO NOT BUY FLOWERS HERE. I wanted something small for my courthouse wedding. The woman asked for a picture of what I wanted so I gave that to her. They charged an arm and a leg for a bouquet and 4 corsages (which are hideous) I asked for a price adjustment when I picked them up because it wasn't what she promised but she said it still costs the same. I should have known to not buy from them when she charged me the price that was on the pinterest picture I sent her. The corsage is literally the top of a rose and nothing more and she charged me $30.00. Mistake made, I've learned my lesson. read more
