In my experience the late fee policy is very clearly explained and clear from the beginning. The policy is even restated in every appointment reminder text that comes out, and you can cancel from that reminder by hitting one number. It is not that hard. So, if you are getting charged, maybe that is an issue on your end? They even waived one fee for me for an emergency because it had not happened before. The office is comfortable. And, my experience with my therapist has been great. She is easy to talk to and very helpful.

She kept saying…read moreshe'd have to call me back that she was busy, she was sick, something came up, etc. She was scattered thinking, kept being distracted in the interview by her family, her dog, etc. She then had to rush to complete her report and has created complications in our situation. She was deceptive, lied to me, and presented me in a bad light in her report. She did not interview the family members she asked me for who had great input on our situation. In my opinion, she is unethical and untrustworthy. I would never use her if referred to her.

We finally get on the call by the third time and we talked and discussed for about 10 mins with me and my husband engaging in the conversation. I need to run to daycare and I apologized to her for noise from garage she then states "I'll go ahead and let your provider know that you are opting out of counseling I stopped and said huh? What am I opting out of? She states she cannot speak to patients who are driving on the phone. I said oh that's ok I won't drive anywhere I'll sit on the phone she states to me you are not serious and when you are ready to be serious I can let your provider find you another counselor I'm ending the call now and hung up! Do not rely on this person to provide compassion empathy patience. She is a huge trigger and she knows this. I have worked very hard mentally financially and physically for this dream and for a professional catering to this specific issue to get on the phone with me for less than 10 min to tell me I am not serious because i was going to drive to daycare during the phone call is super triggering and a professional knows this. My husband and I called the referring doctor and they stated they have never heard negative feedback about her. Well I found her Google and I'm leaving one along with the rest of the reviews with similar issues.

I had to pay the full $170 cash and I asked if she had any advice or suggestions. She said her advice was to refer me to someone else and she'd help me find a different counselor. She listened and formulated her own opinion on our marriage within 15 minutes. My wife didn't speak much during the office visit and it was obvious that there is a communication problem. But she offered no advice on communication even once we asked for some skills or homework she provided none. The first visit should be figuring out what is going on. This is not a magic pill. She should have no opinion at all after the first visit much less in 15 minutes. Therapy takes time. She had already told us how we felt and what needed to happen right away. There is no waiting room it's an executive suite. My wife and I went there for help she told my wife 15 minutes into the session she sounded like she was done. The minute we leave my wife went home and took the kids and left and decided to take temporary separation which was never talked about until Shelly told her to do and we had never discussed. She wasn't there to help. She formulated her own opinion with very little information 15 minutes into the session. Waste of money and time. Wish we had never gone. I would like to say she was zero help but she actually made everything worse. Don't go here if you want to save your marriage she had zero interest in helping other than trying to schedule us for individual therapy.
