I arrived there at 11:05am and checked in. I sat in the waiting room patiently waiting to be seen. At 12:40ish the nurse called my name to be taken in the back to be seen and get vitals taken. She noticed that I was somewhat irritated as to having to wait so long. She said she was sorry but that was just the way the Dr was, meaning Dr. Toby Kirkwood. I told her it was unacceptable and I'm not going to tolerate it. She apologized and said that she would check back in with me in a little while. 5-10 minutes later, she came back and said the Dr would be another 5-10 minutes before he would see me. I told her no ma'am I'm not going to wait another minute and I walked out without seeing anyone today. I told her this is the last time I will be back to this clinic. I had another appointment next month but on my way out, I stopped by the desk and canceled it as well. I did receive my co-pay back that I had paid for today. Instead of actually looking in to something that she had no clue about, she guessed. I don't know about you, but I don't want my doctor guessing about my health. I wouldn't trust her at all!!! After I told her that I didn't appreciate her making something up because she didn't know, she said "Well, I would rather think the worst of it." The drawback would be that I don't think I have seen the same doctor twice, it's always someone different, which means re-capping the medical history because like most medical professionals, they can't be bothered to read your chart. They prefer if you have an appointment, but there is a time allotted for walk-ins every morning, which is good when you are sick but don't want to miss work.

Phones are very seldome answered, even during business hours you get a recording that the office is open at 9am. Call at 10:00 am and get the answering message. The office is closed for lunch from 12:00 to 1:00 but they don't start answering the phone again until 2:00pm. You would think with a two hour break these ladies would be in a better mood. I had a scheduled appointment for my son at 9:15 AM. I called ahead of time when I realized I would be late in order to reschedule. During that call, the representative informed me that because my son was sick, they would not allow him to come into the office. Instead, I was told that they would schedule an e-visit (virtual visit) for later that same day at 4:15 PM. I agreed to this arrangement based on the information provided. Later, when I logged into the MyChart system for the scheduled appointment, I noticed that it was listed as an office visit rather than an e-visit. I called the office to clarify, and the representative I spoke with told me that I must have "misheard" and insisted that no one would have told me it was an e-visit. I was then transferred to the office manager, Sharon, who also stated that I must have misheard and that no employee would have given me that information. I explained clearly what I had been told earlier, but she continued to dismiss my concerns. When I requested the name of the representative who originally assisted me so I could better understand the situation, Sharon refused to provide that information. The conversation escalated due to the lack of assistance and accountability. Sharon further stated that if I filed a complaint, it would "just come back to her," which gave me the impression that there is no proper oversight or accountability process within the office.
