The office experience at my scheduled 9:20 am with Dr Kendall Douglas, today 3/28/25 was a joke. They were way behind seeing patients at the Foley, AL office. After waiting for over a hour I had to leave for another appointment. No one on the staff there spoke about when the doctor would see me or seemed to care. So I guess I just wasted my co-pay and would not be surprised if they bill me for the appointment. This is a very unprofessional group I do not recommend them. I will look for a group of cardiologist that have some degree of integrity as it is my experience if the office is this poorly run it is a strong possibility the doctors will mirror their staffs skill sets. The Docs seem to be good and know what they are doing, but the front office is a true mess. None of the staff want to help you. The staff expects the patient to sign theirselves in on a Kiosk, which faces the room for all to see. This seems very impersonal. I for one would like to speak to an office staff member whenever I enter a Doctor's clinic. They act like we are bothering them when we speak to them. There seems to be only one person at each clinic who can do the scheduling, which seems unreal to me. What did they go to school for? Or did they even go? My husband used to go to Cardiac Associates in Foley, but he stopped for these same reasons. his words were, "one hand doesn't know what the other one is doing!" I hope one or more of the Doctors reads this review, and decides to make some changes. This is the most poorly run doctors clinic I have ever known. read more

Yes I've seen the Dr Hakmiller and his PA due to blood pressure issues. They are on top of things. We are new patents because we moved here about 2 years ago. read more

They are the worst at getting prior authorization for medicatio. My husband's medication needed a pa over a week ago and nothing has been done. Very upset wife. read more

Waited 1 hour ten minutes for Nurse Practitioner. She still had not got to me. Had to leave for another Doctor Appointment in building next door. Including sign in room waited about one hour 45 minutes. read more

Good cardiac care. The nurse practitioners are friendly and professional. The doctors are always busy but are professional and thorough.

Cardiology Associates Dr. Hakmiller is an arrogant incompetent. I have had a vaccine injury (constant feeling of suffocating) now for three years. He was the first cardiologist I saw, since all the pulmonologists in Foley called it "asthma" without knowing what they were talking about. So he gives me an EKG and a bicycle stress test. Shows me the graphs and says "You have coronary small vessel disease and we all knew the shots give you this". So I go for a heart scan at Thomas Hospital and the scan shows his shoot from the hip diagnosis was totally wrong. No heart problems. But i still have symptoms of suffocation. What does he do next? Order a venogram to find an alternate source of the problem? No. He refuses to go over the scan with me, or suggest further diagnosis to find the problem. Refuses to call me. Gets a nurse to blow me off. But I had to pay the bill, didn't I? read more
