They got me checked in, and it was a short wait to see the doctor. I was taken back to my room and the doctor came in within about 5 minutes. The doctor was friendly and seemed to care about getting to the bottom of my health concerns. He ordered my testing and refilled my meds and I was on my way. I was checked out with the lady at the checkout desk. She was very friendly and set up all my appointments with ease. The office is clean with a decent amount of seating in the waiting area, and a tv. The staff and doctor were nice, and I recommend this office for your cardiology needs!!

While I understand that schedules can change, what is unacceptable is that after canceling her appointment, the earliest available rescheduled appointment was not until January 2027. For patients needing cardiac care, a delay of more than six months could have serious health consequences. It is frustrating and concerning to have an appointment canceled by the provider and then be told there are no reasonable alternatives available. Patients deserve timely access to specialty care, especially when dealing with potential heart-related issues. We are now having to seek care elsewhere because waiting until 2027 is simply not an option. I hope Sentara reviews its scheduling practices and referral processes so other patients do not face the same situation.

This photo makes him look gruff, he is the complete opposite and truly a teddy bear, a very, very nice person. Previously, I had an appointment with another Sentara Cardiologist who wiped me off the My Chart for an appt in Jan. 19th, 2026, he had something else to do per Nurse Rachett, then offered to reschedule me for end of May or June. I'd love to tell you his name but, his office conveyed a complete disregard for the patient. I waited for that appt since August 2025. After this experience my husband was quite upset. My inital problem was discovered during a colonoscopy, when I started to A-FIB, this was Mar 2025. Now I was scheduled with Dr. Grammes in Feb 2026 and he was willing to listen, answer my questions, and put me at ease about my procedure. Prompt for appt time, pleasant office staff as well as nursing staff. My procedure, hopefully will be scheduled soon but so far, he and his office staff deserve 5 stars. Will advise after procedure. I had an early appointment so the parking lot wasn't as packed as it can be at later times during the day. When i entered i was promptly greeted by 2 nice employees who were upbeat and friendly, and i was checked in. The process was quick and went smoothly. I saw a new Doctor today, Dr Banks and his P.A. . The P.A does most of the appointment and the doctor comes in with a plan of treatment afterwards. They were both very nice and thorough in their observations. They also did an EKG which took less than 5 minutes. The office was clean and the staff was polite. When i checked out there was no wait and the receptionist printed everything we spoke about after the visit and scheduled my followups. This visit went very smoothly and i like this location. If your looking for a Cardiologist, this location is a good pick. 4 stars!!!

Flu shot reminder signs were posted everywhere, The practice is great about taking care of autoimmune patient necessities such as this. The infusion room is comfy, inviting & staffed by a friendly & gregarious nurse. The chairs beckon one to rest & relaxation, even with a needle in the hand. I find it very interesting to read some of the helpful slides that continually play on the small screen in the waiting room. I have included photos of the latest info at my last visit.
