Well, I never have and never will. Here is what happened, I received a bill for $ 400.00 from his office. I had never heard of their office, this Doctor or anything. He is charging me $ 200.00 for supervising a stress test. I NEVER met this man nor was he in the room. I was told by his office all he has to do is be in the building to supervise. SO, I can be floors away and an emergency happens, what then. He was not in the room, and I had scheduled this test a week prior. That makes it more than enough time for his office to contact me and let me know who this person is. Yes, he is a qualified doctor, but I would rather know that upfront and not after the fact. I am just grateful that there was no emergency. If there were he would not have a clue as to what was going, even though he was supervising.

They called a day ahead with instructions and directions to the place. 11:30am PET Scan appointment (apparently the only place in the area that does this type of test). We were very early and they got us registered right away. Cecily at registration was super nice. They called us back at exactly 11:30 where we were warmly greeted and escorted by Kelly. Then Michelle administers the IV injection. The reclining chair looked super comfy. It's an hour wait to let the injection work through the system. They brought out a pillow and blanket to make the patient comfy. They put the patient's belongings in a locker and gave us the key. Kelly was very caring and kind, offered me a water. Very clean facility. It is a bright blue building exterior and you can't miss it. I can't speak yet for how quickly the results get to the referring specialist, since the test was today. Dr. Low is an interventional cardiologist who has no bed-side manners or empathy and only focussed on doing procedures to generate revenue even though she doesn't have the requisite skills to explain to patients and their care takers or the skill to handle complicated procedures. I have never met this Dr, and yet he is charging me for interpreting my results, and supervising. You would think at a minimum I would have met him, but he was not there. I don't understand how is supervising my test when he wasn't there. A friend said what if he was there and just not within your site. Okay, then why did he not come and introduce himself. What is he too good to meet his patient, that is the first thing that came to mind. When I called his office to complain, I get the manager Wausaw (not sure how to spell) and she lied about saying my primary care doctor referred him. I know for a fact their office did not, and my insurance is not taken by his office. So why in the world would I go and have this Dr be the one to read my results. My insurance has a lot of Cardiologist that take my insurance. I don't make enough money, and even if I did, I would not use a doctor that is not covered by my insurance.
