Very professional, pleasant staff. Super organized from start to finish. They are now affiliated with Advocate Christ. They called a day ahead with instructions and directions to the place. 11:30am PET Scan appointment (apparently the only place in the area that does this type of test). We were very early and they got us registered right away. Cecily at registration was super nice. They called us back at exactly 11:30 where we were warmly greeted and escorted by Kelly. Then Michelle administers the IV injection. The reclining chair looked super comfy. It's an hour wait to let the injection work through the system. They brought out a pillow and blanket to make the patient comfy. They put the patient's belongings in a locker and gave us the key. Kelly was very caring and kind, offered me a water. Very clean facility. It is a bright blue building exterior and you can't miss it. I can't speak yet for how quickly the results get to the referring specialist, since the test was today. Please don't waste your time. Waiting 2 weeks for the results on a ultrasound. Was told there would be a slight delay after the ultrasound was done because their radiologist department was in transition with its staff. SAY WHAT, your going to have some newcomer read my ultrasound, GET REAL. I know your affiliated with the LiveWell network. Maybe you should change its name to Diewell. If I could you would get a minus rating. read more

High Tech review is terrible. The people are nice but it takes 10 days to review testing. If you have a medical problem do not go there.

Check in- super easy. Prepping for exam - easy. Techs administering tast - super nice and kind. I have had blood tests, heart tests (too many to list), and MRI's. I will not go anywhere else. read more

I called to see if I needed an appointment for an Xray. Got the hours of operation prerecorded message. Says they are open for walking x rays on Saturday from 9am to 1pm. I walked in at 9:30 on Saturday and was told they don't do x rays on Saturdays. There's only 2 days available to be able to walk in. Not 6 days like it says. read more

Went for nuclear stress test today. Belinda administered the EKG and actual walking on treadmill. This women is definiteky an angel.She was compassionate and caring. Sara had to insert my IV . I tokd her my veins were hard to find. She took her time and didn"t even leave a bruise. These 2 women deserve a pay increase. read more

I've gone here for multiple MRIs. The staff is welcoming and the wait times are true to schedule. I'm claustrophobic and suffer from severe chronic pain, so it's often difficult to be in one position for any length of time. The technicians were very patient, understanding, and offered a variety of methods to help me through the procedure. I see Dr. Parikh, she's a cardiologist located on the second floor. I have noticed on the first floor lobby that it always has a few people waiting. I don't know what doctor they're going to see. My wait time isn't bad, the first time I only waited a few minutes. The second time I waited for the doctor about thirty five minutes, it helped I saw the nurse right away. Dr. Parikh listens to what you have to say and gives feedback on how a person can make changes. She's positive and shows her concern for her patients. Any testing a person needs done she has always wrote a referral for it. I highly suggest seeing her if your having concerns for heart! read more

I recently visited the Advocate High Tech in Tinley Park for a mammogram. I normally go to the Advocate Women's center in Oak Lawn, which I have to say I would rate the a "10 PLUS" . I could not get an appointment there since their schedule was so backed up. The High Tech was the worst experience!!!!! They didn't know what they were doing and the technician was "extremely rude". I checked with the person at the front desk and she said my check-in was for 7pm and I would be called between 10-15 after that. What?!? My husband, Sam, needed to have radiation & he choose to go to HighTech. We saw Dr Kang, who explained everything we needed to know & then we met George. George immediately puts you at ease, answering any questions we had, & just has such an easy manner that makes you actually enjoy being there, even though you're in such a difficult situation. Joyce, the Oncology Nurse is brilliant! She knows what she is talking about & puts you at ease, telling us that he is going to come through this just fine & I truly believed her! All the technicians & everyone "behind the scenes" are amazing people & are always teasing each other, letting all of us know how much they like each other! It is our last radiation treatment today, & it was great to know we didn't need to come back here anymore...but if we ever do, I hope all of our favorite people will be here to get us through........ I have been here twice now, both times for my 3 hour glucose testing. It is a very clean and fast lab.Both times I had Margaret and both times she was wonderful. I hate needles and giving blood, but she was gentle and quick. Being there for 3 hours is such a pain, but every hour I went into the room to give blood she was bubbly & friendly. I will always try and go here when I have to get bloodwork from now on. read more

When I was told my mammogram was abnormal and that I needed a diagnostic mammogram, I scheduled my appointment at HiTech in Palos Heights right away. My mother and Aunt have breast cancer so I wanted to get in right away and know my fate. When I scheduled my appointment I was not told that I needed to bring in my films prior to my appointment. I was anxious about the appointment so I called several times to make sure everything was in place. On the rare occasion that they did answer the phone, I was told I had everything I needed. When I came for my appointment on the 6th I was told I could not be seen since I did not bring my films ahead of time. I was devastated! When I called to complain, they made me wait days for an answer and then came back and said they couldn't accommodate me unless I took a morning opening for which I would have to take a day off of work. Now, it is on me to find a place that will take me before the end of the year. So careless for such an Important health condition! read more

Had to get blood drawn for testing related to Diabetes 2. The technician had no problem finding a vein--and it was painless! The only evidence of a blood test later that day was a tiny circle from the needle, no bruising! I prefer High Tech Medical Park for all of our medical tests. read more

It's impossible to get an early morning blood draw in their lab. In the early morning the lab is very crowded and the wait is long. I feel more staff is needed during this time to help with the volume of patients. On that particular day I signed in and was informed there would be a 24 minute wait. Finally after 57 minutes I got in. Come on High Tech can you improve your service in this area. Thank you. read more

I too showed up 30 minutes early only to wait another 30 minutes before I got called. The reception person was more interested in watching FOX news than worrying about what the rest of us wanted to watch. I would have rather he turned it off. Yes it's great they have late evening appointments but if you're gonna wait that long I would have waited for another month to get Saturday appointment. read more

Seriously, they got to be accountable. First they don't answer their phones. You wait forever THEN go to VM. If that is the case, why not simply have call go there immediately? but no, better to wait 10 minutes THEN be dumped into vm, right? Then be ready to SIT & WAIT for return call. May or may not call. Just what everyone wants needing medical care, huh? This is the best one, however. They have "walk in" basis for X-rays. NO appt. necessary. So being overly cautious, I call there just to be sure it's still same policy & ensure posted hours apply to X-rays. I WAIT to speak to scheduler to be told I got it all right. I drive over there but what's that...an unexpected traffic jam on Rt 83 turns 15 minutes into 40. yeah, NOT their problem, I get that. But NO...when I walk in to hand them my order for 2 simple X-rays the lady at the desk (and her face spoke it all) turns to me to announce..."OH, so sorry but our X-RAY machine has been down all day!" HUH?? FIRST machine, as in singular?? You telling me they have ONE X-ray machine? How in the WORLD can that be? But most irritating, I called FIRST to say I am COMING IN FOR AN X-RAY!! They don't tell the personnel there so maybe they can alert anyone that MIGHT call? Guess not. So, I wasted almost 2 hrs. of my time & came away with NO x-rays. Funniest thing of all this, even called today to ask "is it UP & running?" and they have NO idea. I waited on hold SO long just trying to get an answer, I hung up & figured I got ONE more day (just tomorrow) so best to check with Tinley. Otherwise seeing my ortho doc without the X-ray he NEEDS to see to consult with me (yeah, thx HMO. Trying to get referral for probably $10 X-ray is like trying to score a winning lottery ticket....bang up job there again). GO elsewhere! read more

Was here recently for an appointment. I had Kathy as my technician and Joan as my registrar and they were both fabulous. This is nowhere near my house but I would drive back here again easily for the service they provided. My feeling is if you're going in to have something unpleasant done, and you come away still thinking the people who serviced you did a fabulous job, it's a mark of a truly professional staff, which this has. read more

The staff from the receptionist to the check-in desk to the medical technicians are always helpful and pleasant. The building is clean but the only thing I'd like to point out is the seating area in the lab. The seats are filthy and the area is musty. It would be great if they'd clean it up. read more

Arrived at High-Tech Medical Park at approximately 4:10 the receptionist told me that there is 4 people ahead of my son. And he will have to wait approximately 45 minutes. So I asked why would it take so long when the doctor called and asked if they could do his test stat. So my son finally went back for his chest x-ray at 5:15 P.M. and was done within 3 minutes so to my understanding I should not have to wait more than 20 minutes to take an X-Ray. The technician Patricia, or as she signed card Pat, told my son it would take a half hour to read the X-Ray. The the doctor ordered the X-Ray as Stat and told me to stay there in case she wanted him to go to the hospital by ambulance if he had another collapsed lung. We waited an hour for the results until I called our doctors office who asked to speak to a supervisor, and I was on the phone for 15 minutes waiting until Pat came out to talk to her. We were finally given the results and were ready to leave until I had my son go back in to find out her name and she made a comment "Well, I will get to tell my side of the story." When I went back to my doctors office I was told that his X-Ray was read 5 minutes after it was done, so there was no reason for me to sit there another hour just because she wanted to be IGNORANT and she should never be in a field that has to deal with the public because she is VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! read more

Central scheduling at this facility is a nightmare and a sweatshop for those employees. Called 3 times, waited at least 10 minutes each time and got disconnected twice. This has been going on at High Tech for years and it evidentially is not important to management to clean it up. THEY don't have to wait so - what the hell. This is the second time in a matter of a month where I just scheduled a test at Silver Cross after High Tech screwed up. I know I'll pay more but have reduced stress. Next time I will just go directly to SC - NO MORE HIGH TECH. Horrible reviews. read more

In this day and age, I am amazed at their horrible process for scheduling appointments. When you call, you NEVER get an actual person. IF you are LUCKY, you might get placed on hold otherwise told via automated message that no one is available. Once put on hold, you are really put on hold. Just called again and told I was the 8th person in line, and waited 40 minutes and still no answer. Really??? The call back option is even worse, because they either don't call you back anytime soon or if you end up missing their call, you have to start the whole horrible phone process again. I have never experienced such an inadequate and frustrating scheduling process. I have spent more time trying to get an appt then it would take for the test itself. I have been to High Tech twice in the past month and couldn't name a single negative thing to complain about. My first appointment was for a mammogram. I was sent immediately from the check in desk to registration and then waited less than five minutes before being called by a tech, Mammograms are never fun, but the tech was professional and caused less discomfort than anticipate. Today, after a doctor appointment, I headed over to High Tech with orders for a hip x-ray and a bone density scan, I was told that I would have to call to schedule the bone density scan, however, when the registration woman saw my order, she checked to see if they could do it at the same time as the x-ray, I was in and out in less than 30 minutes, a great experience! read more
