Cardiovascular Consultants is a place where doctors go to work when they don't qualify to work at Mayo or Banner. Dr. Mann's office from start to finish was absurdly unprofessional, from giving me incorrect information when making an appointment, to cancelling my appointment an hour before it was to begin, and to hanging up on me when I called to reschedule. CVC clearly only hires incompetent people from their managers of the office to the doctors. I have been going to CCV for over 15 yrs and recently was treated so rudely by the scheduling and RX refill team. I can't believe how disrespectful the lady in the phone was. I called another doctor and will go see them in two days. My wife and I have had multiple surgeries with this team and have spent $100k supporting this team. I refuse to be treated disrespectfully. So I came here for my annual appointment that went very well. After I left, I received a message from their office saying that I had money due and that I needed to return or they would send me to collections. Weird because I paid my co-pay upfront and I have never been late on a payment to anyone, EVER. So I was disappointed that I was threatened with collections. I am very pleased that she left it on voicemail. The staff is laughable. I was a mere companion in the waiting room when an elderly woman wobbled in. She was unbalanced, out of breath, wearing a leg brace and shaking like a leaf. She was in the wrong office but the front desk staff did absolutely nothing for this woman. They said "you have to go up to the third floor" and waved her off. Another patient offered to help this woman find the correct office. I mean WTF?! Would they appreciate someone treating their grandmother this way? No compassion, no care. No real issues with the dr except his timekeeping, but the office is a nightmare. I have been a patient at this office for over 15 years, so not a new patient. They are billing my insurance with another patients name, so of course my insurance is denying the claim. I only go in once a year, and this has happened two years in a row now. Trying to find someone to speak to, to get the data corrected so that a correct claim can be filed has been a nightmare. 5 messages on the portal, 4 phone calls, a certified return receipt requested letter to the President and Chief Operating officer, facebook messages and a linked in message to the COO have all been ignored. I asked for an itemized statement to bill the insurance myself and was told that was not possible. I sited their paperwork that identifies I am responsible for the bill, how can I be responsible if they will not bill it correctly, and will not provide me with information to bill it myself. Lord forbid that I get hospitalized and this dr is called in because they will continue to get claims denied and this other person they are listing as the patient now has a permanent record of my diagnoses and health concerns on HIS record. Yes, they are billing for a male patient, I am female. Looks like filing a HIPPA claim is my last avenue for recourse. read more

Dr. Rahool Karnik was seeing my father at Arrowhead Hospital in November. Unfortunately, my father passed away from Covid and Dr. Karnik said to my face he had no sympathy for patients who aren't vaccinated. He is a medical doctor and what ever his beliefs might be he should keep them to himself. He is a cardiologist who treats heart patients with plenty of underlining issues and you don't have any sympathy for them either?!?! He further went on to make fun of a patient who was down the hall from my father who wanted the vaccine and he proceeded to tell me the patient was out of luck. please do not use this doctor and seek medical attention somewhere else! read more

I was referred to CVC to evaluate dizziness/lightheadedness. My visit with Dr. Phat went well - He order an echo and US of the carotid arteries arteries. I made appointments for both test before leaving as well as the follow up appointment with Dr. Phat. This was four weeks ago. Since then the tests have been cancelled and rescheduled no less than 4 times. The scheduling staff has been heartlessly rude even going so far as to say "don't call us we'll call you when our system is up". They did not call me for 3 weeks! I got random texts both confirming then cancelling appointments. I called the Dr's assistant to see if they could give me the orders so I could get the tests done elsewhere since there system was down - nobody would talk to me or call me back. Now we're 5 weeks out, no tests completed, had to cancel the follow up appointment, and my insurance ends at the end of the month so it may be 3-6 months before I can get my care completed. Do not use this practice or any of their locations. It is dangerous and if you have a cardiac issue that needs to be addressed, it is uncertain when or if you'll get the care you need. Their staff, scheduling, and support staff are rude, cruel, and unsafe. read more

If you get referred to this office, ask your doctor to refer you to another cardio office. The staff is unbelievably incompetent. They put you into an endless loop of transferring you to the wrong person. And they just don't care. After a year of their bungling, from making appointments to misdiagnosing me for a pace maker. I am one hour early and now they are late 30 min seeing me. Very disappointed. My time is as important as theirs and should be respected as such. Just because they can make you wait shouldn't be expected. Thats the point of scheduling. I would give it 0 stars if I could. I've been dealing with these folks for just under a year now and they're grossly incompetent. My list of issues/incidents is too much to list here, but I can summarize by saying that only one encounter out of the dozens I've had with them has gone smoothly. I like the cardiologist but the registration staff are horrible!!! Very short, rude, and condescending. I wouldn't be surprised if they purposely didn't contact the authorization department. Left me feeling very unsure. Not one but two people I talked to. Felt as if they hated their jobs and wanted to get off as quick as possible. Good luck. When actually in the waiting area I have seen patients upset b/c of being told they were not being seen that day. You guys need to regroup and take classes on how to be courteous and competent!!!!!! Dr Pozun is a great doctor but his billing department is terrible. Saw him multiple times in 2018, using the same insurance. Insurance paid, no problem. But somehow, his billing department managed to "lose" my insurance information for an August visit (but not for my December visit!) and now I'm told they can't bill my insurance because it's too late so I'm out the whole amount - not even getting the negotiated rate! read more

I'm an aid for one of the patients of this practice. Although I can't rate the doctors care because I'm not the patient and that wouldn't be fair I am giving it a two star rating because of my observation. I've brought this gentleman here numerous times and not one time have they called him in for his appointment on time. EVERY SINGLE TIME he's had to wait 1/2 hour to an hour to call him in. They are backed up constantly. This is outrages. Total lack of respect for patience time. Personally I think they are extremely greedy and Are trying to pack in as many patients as possible or they're just plain inconsiderate. I understand that at times there are emergencies which cause the doctor to become back up. But not every single time. If you have nothing better to do than sit in a waiting room for hours on end by all means go to this practice. However if your time is important I would seriously consider going elsewhere read more
