Get your Freak on for Valentines Day
    Juan V.

Don Juan Valentines Edition: Valentine's Day is approaching. The best way to a man's heart is to find out what he likes and what he follows. Give your man a card. Not talking gift card or Valentines card. I am talking a different type of card which is timeless and it wouldn't be thrown away just in case you break up. He will keep it even if you break up and then make up. It's a card he will forever hold on to ( unless he sells it on eBay). There is a place which has all kinds of cards which are current but the past cards bring a bigger smile. This card I am talking about is a sports collector trading card. There is a place which has many in stock and it's called Card Vault by Tom Brady. On a Winter Valentine week stroll in across the street where the San Francisco Giant have won World Series on King street there is a place to grab that valuable card. The digital gift is always a good thought but men like a physical gift ( use your imagination). Although Super Bowl is over you can still continue celebrating past Super Bowls by getting the collector sports card of your favorite team or player. The sports card is a gift to show you know him and that you appreciate him. A sports card can create long term memories ( I had sport cards longer than girl friends) and bring value ( like the sports card in a few years ) to your relationship. Remember Valentines gift exchange is not an one way street. Go to 3rd and King to Card Vault by Tom Brady in San Francisco. Come to the place where you will find cards for almost "everything"of professional athletes who won more than one Super Bowl "ring "and some athletes are known for their home run "swing" this is where you find the majestic players in a league of their own on 3rd and "King" This is where you find the home run king collectibles of Barry Bonds sports fans "exalt" where cards are "bought" and see freeze frames of athletes in motion during a game which was thrown or "caught" by the kings of the sporting world inside Tom Brady's "CardVault"

I was super lucky and able to check out card vault by Tom Brady over Super Bowl weekend on a Saturday. It was super crowded. We thought Tom Brady was gonna show up but he didn't because he had to commentate for the Super Bowl on Sunday. Service is super fast here in reliable, super friendly staff. The selection has a wide variety of collectibles cards memorabilia et

Cardvault is located directly across Oracle Park. Street parking is impossible, but the MUNI metro stops at that intersection where the store is. The store is well organized and stocked up with the latest boxes of trading card packs. The prices are reasonable, and the friendly employees are very helpful. You can also submit trading cards for all levels of PSA grading. They also buy cards.

Visiting San Francisco for the first time in 19 years, I made it a mission to find a game store…read more The closest one was about a mile away, so I walked from The Clancy in SoMa with one goal: buy the new 2024 D&D Monster Manual. That's my rule: if I step into a game or comic shop, I have to buy something. It's a hard habit to break at this point. From the outside, the store looks massive -like it might contain the multiverse. But once inside, the retail selection isn't quite as big as it appeared to be. BUT... it's got great stuff. Solid board game options. Plenty of space for RPGs and card games. It's the kind of store that's clearly built around social gatherings and play. Spacious and not cramped. A rare find in a city setting. There's an upstairs and downstairs, but those seemed more dedicated to table games you can meet up and play rather than shopping, so I didn't explore too much. The staffer working was friendly and helpful. She even checked if they had the new Monster Manual. Unfortunately, they didn't. That was a letdown. I mean, it's been out for months. If a game store doesn't carry the NEW core D&D books, especially right after a new edition drops, it stings a bit. They had plenty of the original 5e, but not the new. Still, I wasn't leaving empty-handed. Picked up a slick set of dice and the softcover Pathfinder 2E Monster Core Pocket Edition. Gotta support the cause. Overall? I'm glad I found the place. It's a real hangout spot. Honestly, throw in some coffee and comfy chairs, and I'd post up there for hours. Coffee and dice----- it just works right? Note: The 5-stars is a soft 5 because it really doesn't deserve a 4. I just wasn't floored and wowed by the place in general. 4.5 would be perfect. But a 5 it is DESPITE they didn't have what I came to get.

So far I've only shown up to do painting night (with a completely unrelated craft project, cuz I was accompanying my partner), and everyone I've met through the store's (very organized) Discord server has been lovely and inviting. Diana was also happy to let me know about their weekly D&D night. Only con is probably that if you're more interested in the board games side of games, there's a decent but relatively small selection compared to other game stores in the area. But I'll definitely keep coming back for the warm service and cool community.

The employee seemed offended that we didn't know the process and told us they did pickup only. Not once did he inform us on the actual website. Secondly the employee from the back came out to "answer" our questions, which he also was offended we were inquiring about a set that came out 6 weeks ago. He informed us we were "6 weeks late". He then proceeded to tell us incorrect information about the sets. Which feels was done on purpose. Pricing? These are scalpers, unauthorized resellers. These are the kind of people that weigh/scan packs and open all the hits. They were showing us set boxes with the shrink wrap missing, but were selling it to us at scalper pricing. (Meaning they weren't doing that thing were target rips open the shrink wrap so only collectors buy)

This place is located on the same block where they filmed the church wedding scene in the retro 80's music video ( RIP MTV) for the song " Jeopardy" by the San Francisco based band Greg Kihn band. On an Autumn stroll what is considered a San Francisco Summer month I went to a store which has been selling nostalgia merchandise and current popular culture figures and collectibles for over 20 years in the Mission Dolores area of San Francisco and it's called Super 7. Stepping inside Super 7 and you have entered another fantasy universe where you see all types of monsters , hero's , villains , and animation characters in SF. They have action figures of music acts such as Daft Punk, OutKast, MF Doom, and other musical performers. They sell merchandise from Peanuts to Sesame Street. They also have t-shirts for classics such as Power Rangers , and SpongeBob SquarePants. Super 7 has Japanese toys and novelties inside.
