Not impressed with $46.00 of the flowers sent. Called to Express my concerns because the two look completely different. The lady explained its like McDonald's you don't get a burger exactly like the photo! Delivery was extremely fast! They called me back saying they gave an extra rose more than what the recipe calls for. I purchased a deluxe more than the standard photo. The explained the photo was shot in front so it appears fuller than normal. I order alot of flowers never have i been disappointed in an order. This will be my last at this place unfortunately. I recently ordered a sympathy bouquet for my SIL. She sent me a pic of what was delivered, I was not thrilled. So I called Cardwell Florist and requested to speak with the owner. I explained how the flowers were very disappointing, and looked nothing like the pic. The owner explained how the pandemic has caused a shortage in flowers, and with Mother's Day recently passing, they did the best they could. She asked me to allow a few days for the bouquet to bloom, and if I wasn't pleased she would make it right. The owner followed up a few days later. I explained that my SIL never sent an updated pic, and I didn't want to add to her grief by turning a kind gesture into a headache. She understood and ultimately agreed to send more flowers to my SIL. I left the new arrangement up to her. Well, I heard back from my SIL and received a new pic of the improved bouquet. I ordered a sympathy bouquet from here for my Mother's funeral service because I had received flowers from here in the past and they were beautiful and I wanted something special for my Mom. I chose the Beautiful Heart (premium) arrangement which included an Angel statue in the center because my mother loved Angels and I felt it would be a nice tribute to her. When I arrived for the service I was very disappointed to see that several of the flowers were already wilted and bruised only a few hours after delivery. One of the roses even dropped petals while it was sitting there. I'm not normally one to leave a poor review for a business, however, this was for my Mother. The poor quality of the flowers was an insult to her memory. I will never buy flowers from here again. read more

I'm so glad I found Cardwell florist! I'll normally come in and just ask them to put together a $25-30 bouquet, maybe give them an idea of colors, and they always put together a big, beautiful assortment of flowers. And not just a couple carnations and baby's breath - it's a great arrangement of 5+ different flowers. The bouquets almost always stay strong and healthy for at least a handful of days - I don't expect much more than that out of fresh cut flowers. I try to stop in once a month or so. It's a cheap and easy way to make my wife super happy! read more

My wife had personally gone to this florist to have a funeral display created for her aunt. She chose to have the display made on site and not trust it to a total stranger florist across town. She ordered and paid for the display on Saturday, and advised that we would pick it up on the following Wednesday morning for the one-day service. Wednesday morning arrived and we arrived to pick up the floral display only to be advised that it wasn't even started on! They offered a litany of excuses, but not one comment of apology or taking responsibility for their error. They said the lady who took her order was out sick with food poisoning, and no one made an effort to look at her desk to see the order. They then got indignant when my wife voiced her disgust for their indifference. The staff did refund the purchase price, and gave us a pitiful arrangement so SOMETHING would be at the visitation. We have used this florist over 35 years, but will never approach them again for our floral needs. They received a One Star rating only because Zero or less was not an option! read more

The day of my 35th anniversary my wife was visiting Livonia, Mi. on business, leaving the next morning. So we called last minute to put in an order for a local funeral. The lady was great and helpful. She did get the bouquet in plenty of time for the mass. We called at 8:30 it arrived at 9:20am. But she did mention she would add roses and there weren't any roses in the bouquet so I was pretty disappointed. I paid $140 for mostly carnations. Called at 9 in the morning asking for the world for a cremation service for my mother in-law, and needed the flowers by 11:30 am. They were amazing, the flowers were everything we wanted and more. My sister in-law cried when she saw them. They were perfect, it was almost as if my mother in-law channeled in and created them herself. They created a casket flower and a funeral spray that were both incredible. They pulled it together for us in such a short period of time, just very lucky they had the flowers and the time.
