They also take all my sarcasm and sass with a huge smile. I still don't like going to the dentist, but if I have to go, this is where I'd like to be. Some of the policies have changed due to COVID but they still provide the great standard and quality of care that I have come to expect from them. They send you a text for a health screening prior to your appointment, they check in again with you at your appointment and take your temperature and then you are off with your CDA/hygienist to one of the private rooms.

I like the hygienist Leanne and both Dr. Lamb and Dr. Lalonde. Unfortunately, we've had really negative experiences with their booking system. There have been multiple instances where a confirmed appointment was either cancelled on us at the last minute, or we've actually shown up and the appointment has been changed without being notified. This is just not acceptable for a family with 2 working parents and kids with a full schedule- working out a time for an appointment is stressful enough. I'm going to change to an office that is more reliable.

The hygienist I've seen, Irene, is fantastic. Unlike some lesser dental outfits I'v been to who seem to be making up work or looking for extra procedures to bill for, this place has explained in detail that they certainly could do this or that but that it isn't needed until it's causing a problem which I soooo appreciate. Dental isn't something folks often look forward to but coming here is a great experience and I'm looking forward to keeping up my dental health with them.

She traveled out of country for several months. While there she had her teeth cleaned 3 months after her Driftwood appointment. The dentist showed her a cavity that was clearly obvious. Driftwood simply overlooked it - not doubt expecting to get a more expensive dental repair later. I was told recently I would need to have a new crown. I decided to get a second opinion. The 5-star dentist I saw said there was no point in having a crown done until I had obvious pain and problems coz it was a crown on a crown and would get into the bone - and that could be years away. Driftwood Dental is in it for the win. I liked this group. But after what they did with my wife's crown and daughter's overlooking of her cavity - they are NOT TO BE TRUSTED. PERIOD. END OF STORY.
