We contacted this agency to help out with elderly care for our 89 year old father who is bedridden. I gave them 2 stars because they showed up to the appointment punctually and Rachel was very kind and personable. However, we gave her the days and times we needed her agency and she told us they just needed 24 hours and they would be able to service us. We called the agency the next day, less than 24 hours later, after we met with Rachel to let them know we wanted them onboard. They told us they didn't have enough staff. She gave us no indication that this may be an issue when she came to the house at the meeting and we were left with the impression they had PLENTY of staff to fill our needs. We felt our time was wasted by this agency when we needed to find help promptly as he cannot be left alone ever. We are angry. If you contact them before they waste your time with a meeting, make sure they have the capability to meet your needs, so you do not waste your time. read more

I would highly recommend Care From the Heart. They do everything they say they will, and more. Keeping elders safe, clean, well fed and engaged are their strong points, and they do it with a strong sense of purpose and passion. The professionals they sent were always prompt, efficient, no-nonsense and always had the best interests of my aging mother at heart. When not caring for her, they tried to help out with my aging father, which he enjoyed a lot. They definitely added to the quality of my mother's life. The one drawback I have is how they are not prepared to transition to home nursing. They had to resign from the case as they were not prepared to deal with my mother's increasing medical needs. For that I cannot blame them, but it was hard to say goodbye to them. read more
