We did what I assume a lot of people in this circumstance do, we asked the people we knew for recommendations and you were recommended to us. My mom required what I would call high maintenance. I was worried that the people who would be sent over to us would not give my mom the proper care that she required after surgery. Theresa who was the caregiver consistently provide the highest quality care and gave me a peace of mind. Whatever the circumstance or emergency, she handled it professionally and with great dignity. Comfort Keepers of Sugar Land gave me the complete confidence that my mom was safe, comfortable and well cared for. I am not normally the type of person who is easily won over and I don't ever remember writing a letter to thank someone for their services. Temporary Home Care did follow up with me the following Monday to make sure my father had care, and they had even found staffing for him if necessary. They were very understanding and supportive of my situation, and that level of consideration and care means a lot.

We were charged for Level 4 care while we were there and when we weren't there. I frequently had to go in search of help and on occasion could not find anyone. I believe they were understaffed and there was a problem with management. After we moved they refused to respond to my texts, emails and phone calls as well as a letter that I hand delivered. There was a fall at the facility and I didn't have any walkie-talkie or no one to call so I had to resort to calling 911 to help the patient. Afterwards then they started coming. I was let go because they claimed I used the wrong protocol. When you are left by yourself and you have no help if there is an emergency then you have to do what is necessary to assist the patient. Mr Tisdale the administrator is rude and unprofessional with no morals. He talked to you like you are trash.

OPC was a dream come true. This is a small, family owned care facility. This place reminds you of home. The workers are caring and always knowledgeable about what's happening with every resident. Don't be surprised if you see the owners spending the day with patients. Everyone that works here cares for the residents. Loved ones are free to come and visit anytime. My aunt lived there for eight years and I was never disappointed. Even though my aunt is no longer living, she was always happy and I'd recommend Optimum Personal Care to anyone looking for a facility to care for your loved ones when you can longer do it alone.

They are a small facility with a large staff to resident ratio. The staff is fantastic. They really CARE about the residents. You can see it in their action and in their attitude. The place is immaculately clean and the linens and blanked washed regularly. They are very attentive to all the residents needs. I felt a huge burden was lifted off of myself when I found this place. I could drop by or call anytime and anyone I spoke to could give me an update on my Mon that day. Even the cook would tell me if Mom had eaten her meals or not. I would not have any hesitation having a loved one live here.
