I was so upset over how bad my experience was that I told them I wasn't interested in working with them at all but they were really very persistent and kept calling me and sending me unsolicited emails. This'll teach me to never deal with Linkedin Recruiters ever again. Beware! These people will try to act like you need them more than they need you and then lowball you with really bad rates. They have very little leads and are nothing more than a resume mill that spams candidates on Linkedin and utilizes sales tactics in a "boiler room" type atmosphere. These are not real recruiters. Stick with better agencies like Creative Buzz, Adecco, Artisan or Vanguard.

The coaching itself was adequate. I was not finding it as beneficial as I would have hoped, but…read morethat was partly a result of miscommunication, and largely due to some health issues that I was facing. I do not blame Crystal Barrow (the coach) for why I was not getting out of coaching what I wanted to. Crystal and I have a written contract, in which there is a no refund clause. I have never disputed this or at any time demanded a refund.Upon seeing that I was struggling, Crystal offered to give me a partial refund of my $1,800 three-month package. I had assumed by "partial refund" she meant she'd refund me the remaining value, or close to the remaining value, of the sessions that had not been completed (I had only completed two of six). Instead, she offered me half the value of the remaining sessions. By numbers that works out to $600 for $1,200 worth of the program left. At this point, I said that I would rather just complete the session than take such a small refund. Once again, I stress; there is a NO REFUND policy, which I do not challenge. She offered me a refund, without specifying the amount, once I learned of the amount, I REJECTED the offer and said I'd continue on with the program. Despite my clear rejection of the offer, she went ahead and processed a refund of $600 via Paypal. I have since offered to return the $600 and continue on with the program as contracted, or to end the contract for a full refund ($1,800 minus the value of the two sessions used) she has refused both of the alternatives and has unilaterally decided that $600 settles our contract. For full transparency: I did acknowledge in my initial email that if she was willing to offer me a refund I'd be really grateful because I do not think I can get anything out of coaching right now. Part of her argument for ending the contract on terms not agreed upon, is that I said I would not be going forward. This is INACCURATE. I said I do not see myself getting much from it, but in that same email thread I also said "I'd rather spending the next four sessions looking stupid and trying to get something out of it than just throwing away that money." So why yes, I made it clear that I did not find the sessions beneficial and would PREFER a refund, that was at no point my bottom line.
