I quickly found out my manager was a person with almost three decades of experience, who possesses enormous patience and happy to dispense her wisdon. I found a highly collaborative enviroment where my co-workers freely shared their wisdom and their resources. I had a big learning curve, but I felt supported every step of the way from the Executive Director of the agency down to my fellow Employment Consultants. I found an administration that really encourages its employment consultants to attend trainings, seminars and schooling to become better in the field. This work is important. We help people with development disabilities find work and maintain employment. People with developmental disabilities face significant barriers in obtaining employment, and in this job you get the opportunity to tear down the barriers and in the process change not only the lives of the people you will serve, but your life as well. I can't say enough positive things about this agency. WVS is interested in not just the people it serves, but its employees, as well. I honestly feel that I could not have asked to work with a better, more dedicated group of people. I feel lucky to have landed this job and feel privildiged to work with my co-workers and the people we serve.

After asking around, all other contract employees with a JD were making $12 an hour more than I was. Kibby thinks this is fine since I was ultimately offered the job, but it's a job that wasn't close to what I was looking for, it's essentially call center work (which Kibby promised it would NOT be.), and after 6 months, because Kibby short changed me, I had made $12,480 less than all my peers with JDs. It's been over a year since I used ESP, my experience still bothers me when ESP comes up in conversation. People with less experience and less degrees coming from different recruiters all made more than me. I can't recommend avoiding Kibby and ESP strongly enough. UPDATE: After skimming the other reviews, people who are full white seem to have done better than me with Kibby and ESP.

When I emailed Sydney and questioned her about this fictitious reference letter asking what background checks she had done and what references she had actually talked to she didn't answer me back except to say she was on holiday. I waited a month and asked again to which I received a very rude and intimidating email accusing me and telling me they were a super great couple. She obviously never did any background checks on this couple and became defensive. I later found out from someone the wife had spoken to that she never held any of the 1/2 dozen high lever housekeeping management positions listed on her résumé. She recently quit before a year of work. Actually the agency should be supplying us a replacement for free but I wouldn't trust Sydney again so we are out over 30k and my health so affected by this horrible experience. 1 star…read more We are a really great family looking for a housekeeper/nanny. I found Sydney's company on yelp. At first, she seemed to be on board with all our needs, really helpful, attentive, and super nice. She brought us her friend Deyanira who wanted to work out a different deal than job specified. Then, she brought Elsa who was overwhelmed by size of house and no background check had been done on her before presenting her to me. On top of this her mom is illegal, and when Sydney found out they both were wanting to do the job she wanted an additional fee for the illegal. Then, she brings me another unverified illegal candidate who we end up hiring ! We pay Sydney about $13 k or more and this illegal candidate ends up feeding my dogs rotten food so we fire. Besides the whole being illegal part, she was not helpful with my son. Now, after we pay Sydney, all we get is down y'all, negativity, and she believes her people more than us her "clients." I feel like she took advantage of me and our need for someone special. She now has only one way communications, is demeaning to us, and basically calls us the problem because in her mind she's offered 3 qualified candidates even if some were illegal and unverified with background checks. We know she is down with us as she already has her money. Which she refused to return as in her words "were not entitled to a refund only another candidate." Now, she just says no candidate wants our position because job is too much for one person. Bottom line, I would not recommend her. Sydney, when she has your money will not be as nice or helpful. Sydney, has been nothing but unhelpful and brought us unqualified unchecked candidates and according to her we her clients who have paid more than $13k are the problem. I am due in May and am beyond devastes we trusted someone so unprofessional and quick to write us off because we give push on how her candidates either don't want the position offered or are illegal. At this point, we have realized now that she has our money all we can do is share our experience in hopes this doesn't happen to anyone else.
