I had a raccoon get stuck and die in between my first floor and basement. Though I didn't exactly know what it was until Puroclean came to rescue me I knew something was very wrong. When I first started smelling the faint but unmistakable odor. I started calling around. I called everyone in the tri-cities. (This was on a Thursday). The answers I got from other companies were either A. It is just a mouse or squirrel and the smell will go away or B. Sorry we don't do that kind of work. On Friday I woke up with a massive amount of flies in my house. Called more companies from here to Texas. No one would help because of the location on dead animal. I'm a single mom who just moved to the area. I didn't know anyone who could help. I called my insurance agent they don't cover animal damage. Apparently this is a thing with insurance. So I went to the hardware store and donned myself in PPE and tried to cut it out but I couldn't find it... On Saturday I tried again. I switched my search on google and found these guys. Called them on Sunday. Crying ... because it was awful.... I will spare you the disgusting details. Puroclean came out on Monday. Rick was very professional and listened to me. He was the first person to believe me. Tuesday I made plans with the office staff which was just as emphatic to my situation. They moved around their schedule so my daughter could have her second birthday at home on Saturday. They saved her presents and decorations! My mom heart is exploding! Wednesday my heroes showed up. Michael and Rick went to work. I was not there but I know this job was not for the faint of heart or stomach. Like I said I'll spare you the most awful disgusting details. They only planned to do one round of disinfecting and purification but it was bad! So bad! Just awful that they came back for a second round to make sure they got it all. Lucas and Michael went inside my home watered the plants on my back deck (it's 95 degrees outside right now) grabbed more dog food so I wouldn't be more traumatized. They went above and beyond. They listened to me cry and answered all my questions. They didn't judge me. I thought I was going to lose everything, my carpet, my mattresses anything soft but they saved me! They saved me! I will always be grateful to this amazing company that did the impossible. Thank you Puroclean! Thank you from the depths of my soul and I feel so blessed to have found you and met you. Look no further this is who you need to help you. They will be patient, understanding, professional, go above and beyond to bring your home back to your safe place. There's still much to do but I can do this now.

They helped us sort our stuff after a calamity at our home, and not only did they take everything and pack it well and hold it for us for months while we sorted our situation, they helped us find objects we'd lost years ago! Also once I left them waiting like an hour due to a miscommunication on my part and pure professionalism ensued. If you're in a situation where you have to use this company know you're in super good hands.

He didn't show up for the initial appt., and rescheduled for the following week- even then he was an hour late. We discussed the repairs and he said he would email an estimate. After hearing nothing for weeks, I reached out to him and he said he would have it by the end of the week. The following week, I reached out again and finally received an estimate. From there on, I would hear NOTHING from him unless I initiated contact. Then the excuses started.. I dealt with this man for three and a half months, with him ghosting me the entire time. At no time did he ever fulfill a promise, or meet a deadline. The last straw was him AGAIN failing to provide information on the repair. That was Feb. 25, and, you guessed it, CRICKETS! I have to wonder what part of "Do It Right" applies to his business.

If I were you and needed services from ServPro Kingsport/Bristol I would definitely reconsider…read moreusing them. We had to use them for a sewage backup in the basement of my moms house that I inherited. And they gave us a quote of 2500-3000 for the work. They came out and did the work and saw the damage and still gave us the same estimate. They left after the work was finished and we had to chase them down for a bill. Once we received it the bill went from 2500-3000 up to almost 4700 with no call or explanation from them. I've been in retail and sales all my life and you NEVER jack a bill up $1700 without calling the customer and saying hey once we got started this, this and this happened and this is why the estimate is off so much. You don't just do the work with no communication and expect the customer to just pay that with no explanation. I'm sorry it doesn't work that way if you ask me. Once questioned they said well, we're sorry we were off so much on the quote but it is what it is. No, it isn't what it is. You make an agreement with a customer and you stick to it or you contact them and explain why you can't before you do the work. They also charged us for hauling off old carpet and doors, frames etc which are still sitting in my house and thrown in the backyard. If I had read some of the reviews about their company I would have never gone with them. The guys that did the work were very pleasant they just did not do good work. The people in the office well they just laughed at my husband when he was just trying to gain some understanding as to what happened. They laughed. They're lack of professionalism is laughable. It's pretty much nonexistent. And I think from a so called professional they should be a little bit closer to their mark than being $1700 off but that's just me! Still working with their corporate office who is also upset with their "customer service" and they stated that Servpro of Kingsport/Bristol has 5 days once the formal complaint is received which will be today to resolve the issue entirely or they will have no more business sent to them until it's done. So, fair warning if you ever need any work from their kind of company in the future be very careful! I only gave them one star because I had to in order to post the review. These guys are a JOKE. And I would never recommend them! One of their employees has even been harassing me online after seeing the bad review I left. I have the screenshots to forward on to that joke of a company too. We have contacted a lawyer. We will pay what we owe even though it's half ass work, but not $1700 over! Not a chance Servpro Kingsport Bristol.

Do not use this group, after over a year of a roof leak, which they suggested a roofer, and a large…read moreamount of insurance money paid out, the roof still leaks, and they are saying they're not going to be responsible for it. They say this was not their subcontractor, but ours! Really? We called the company after we had a leak and they were supposed to fix or direct everything. That's why we called them. Over a year later nothing and now they're refusing to get someone to come and complete the repair. Then, the owner calls me, and rudely tells me he is not responsible for this, and the subcontractor is mine not theirs!!! We have been in contact with them the entire time this has all gone on. So crazy! Not worth the risk, there's plenty of other companies that have a great reputation available for this type of thing. Hope this helps
