I've always gotten the expert medical attention I needed at Care Now facilities; this location is no exception. The friendly staff assured me I didn't have the ebola and then developed a plan to get me back into the realm of the living. All this on a Sunday morning, too. The doctor's forearms looked like she wrestled a bobcat but she is the epitome of professionalism. The nurse was very attentive and has a great bedside manner and put me at ease. Terrible experience with wait time. I checked in online and they called me to say they could see me in 20 minutes. I arrived in 15 minutes only to wait 90 more minutes to see the doctor. When I complained about the wait they said "there's nothing we can do". In Frisco, TX, there are many options for urgent care. I will never go to this clinic again. read more

I was concerned I had strep, because my daughter was diagnosed with it. I called this location to determine the wait for a walk-in. I was told there was not a wait. When I arrived, I got checked in and was taken to a room within 15 minutes. Then I waited... and waited... for 45 minutes. I stepped out of the room and spoke with a lady at the front desk. She told me she would notify the doctor. I went back to the room and waited another 20 minutes. Meanwhile, the doctor has met with 2 different patients in the room next to me. At this point, I went to check out. I was then told that this is normal. Normal... if you have time to wait, this is the place for you. read more

These doctors and nurses are the bottom of the barrel, barely passed med exams quality health care providers. left a message on the nurse line and, it took 32 hours to get a call back. Also, very expensive for a shot of cortisone and, anti biotics. They love to push the AB's because, that's their answer to every cold and virus related illness. I was really happy when the service until I arrived at the clinic. I used web check in so that I wouldn't have to wait since I still had to go pick up my child's from daycare. Here I am, still waiting, 1.5 hours after they told me to arrive. They keep telling me that there is an emergency the doctor had to deal with. Isn't there a place called an emergency room for that?? And why do they only have 1 doctor on staff? No wonder it's always such a long wait. Good thing I'm not really sick, I might die here. read more

I went to the CareNow in west Frisco on 1/15/14. It was a wonderful experience in every aspect. - I used web check-in and they called me back within a few minutes and had already confirmed my coverage and co-pay. - I was told they would be ready for me in an hour, and I received a call within the hour saying a room was ready. - I was greeted as soon as I got to the clinic by Shelly who was very nice and welcoming. - I waited in the waiting room for about 12 minutes before being called back. The waiting room was clean and comfortable and I enjoyed the video that was playing. - Once I was in a room, the nurse, Xinia, took vitals and asked the required questions. She was also very pleasant. - It was about 15 minutes after I got in the room that Dr. Sheppard came in. She was very pleasant, thorough and informative. - Dr. Sheppard wrote a prescription and ordered a shot. - The nurse came in after a few minutes to administer the shot and I needed to wait a few minutes to insure there was no reaction. - The entire visit in the clinic was less than an hour, it was very professional, friendly, clean and efficient. I loved being able to check in on the web and wait at home until they were ready for me. The time in the clinic couldn't have been reduced by much for me to get the care and attention I received. read more

I went in on Sunday and the Dr, was nice and informative. What I have a problem with is that I was called today stating that lab results were in and to come to the office... So i'm already panicing because I'm thinking something is wrong with me.... of course... Sunday I paid over 150.00 for my visit... Went to get the results and GUESS WHAT... Went into the Care now in Frisco off Main St. because I was not feeling well. Several people in my area had contracted West Nile and I had a lot of the symptoms that go with it. Being pregnant I got nervous about the health of my unborn child so I went to the clinic and was tested for west nile and several other things NOT related to my symptoms (all of which came back negative). I left the clinic that day with NO diagnosis or antibiotics to help me feel better. They then told me I would have to wait 3-5 days for the west nile results to come back. 7 days later I still had not heard back from them with the results so I called the clinic to find out what was going on. The lady I spoke with assured me that SHE would call me as soon as the results came in so I could stop worrying about the effects it was having on my child if indeed I did have west nile.... 11 days passed and still NO phone call with results. I was able to get the same lady on the phone that I spoke with on day 7, and she informed me that my results came in the SAME day I called up there and spoke with her...the SAME day she assured me she would give me a call as soon as they came in. She then went on to tell me that since my results came back negative, she didn't feel that it was necessary to call and let me know. Needless to say, I am NOT a happy camper and will NEVER be going back to this clinic or a care now in the future. read more

OMG...this Care Now was disgusting. It had a clean waiting room and the staff was friendly, but the bathroom where you leave a urine sample left A LOT to be desired. After tinkling in the cup and then a little on my hand, I would normally wash my hands. This bathroom, at a medical facility, had NO SINK in the restroom. I was repulsed. There were no napkins, no sink,,,nothing but a toilet, toilet paper and a plunger. I had to open the door, WITH URINE ON MY HAND, to leave. Care Now needs to address this issue. read more

The front desk and staff were very helpful but, I found Dr. Hester extremely cold and sterile in his approach to the type of treatment(s) I should have. ie "if you're willing to undergo more test" or spend more money, I may be able to narrow my findings" when my condition was clear. When I wouldn't spend the extra cash, Dr. Hester released me back to the workforce after an unrealistic 48 hrs. After 72 hours still coughing up phlem and a temperature of 100 degrees, Dr. Hester would not extend my off work order without paying another 150.00 to see him again! read more

I had a ear infection and was given bad medicine by dr Shepard. She was rude and argumentative when I informed her of her mistake. I later saw dr Hester who was very unprofessional and disappointing Regaridng the issue forcing me to spend more then i should have At an urgent care.I urge people to seek proper medical care elsewhere . Although the staff and facility are good the doctors are awful and should be reviewed before they practice . read more

This Care Now has a horrible office staff. The unprofessional attitude is awful to deal with when you are already feeling lousy. Don't waste your time if you are not able to get in until after 9PM. They won't be able to verify your insurance and make you pay full price, even if you have been a client for quite some time. They will promise to reimburse you, after they verify the next day, but that will take up to 30 days. Seriously!?! If you are considering this place, my advice is to take some NyQuil and call your real doctor in the morning. The lack of common sense is astounding...oh wait...didn't they freak Dallas out thinking one of their patients had an African virus...yeah...just awesome. read more

If I could, I would give this place NO STAR at all.... I got to their office on 10:30am on a weekday thinking there shouldn't be a wait... when I checked in, they told me that there was an hour to an hour and a half wait... they said they can call me when it's my turn and I will only have a window of 15-20 minutes to check in with them, otherwise I will have to recheck in with them and wait for my turn all over again... so I just drove around their office thinking they would call me very soon... "when I left, there was only another patience waiting"... an hour and a half had gone by, they had not called, so I went to their office to make sure I didn't miss their call... NOPE... I didn't, they haven't called yet.. and then the nurse said there'll be another 30-40 minutes wait.. on top of the 1.5 hrs which I had waited.... so I waited thinking it should be my turn soon.. but hell no... no signs of callas at all... so I left to Kroger and have myself to be my own doctor instead.. that was just RIDICULOUS!!!!.... 2 hrs and 20 minutes wait while I was suffering... then when I was at Kroger which was 20 minutes after I have left their place, they finally called... but I have decided not to step my feet to this place and waste my time ever again... when I told them I have already left and they could give my spot to another patient, the person on the phone said "oh that's what we wanted to know, than you"..... what kind of doctor office is that!!!!! read more
