Nice receptionist and assistant but Very subpar provider care. Old time medicine with a literally 30 second exam and guess of a diagnosis. Not given option to see a doctor nor told that the provider isn't a doctor unless specifically asked. No results ever relayed to me after visit. Will never come back to this location. All the staff was very nice besides the practitioner. Came in looking for medical help and left feeling worse off because of the practitioner's weird bedside manner. I am an educator with double insurance coverage and was surprised to be asked for a co-payment during my recent visit. In previous visits to urgent care, I have never been required to pay a co-payment at the time of service. When I asked, the front desk clerk stated it is Care Now policy to collect co-payments. While the medical care itself was satisfactory, the billing inconsistency and lack of clear communication about this policy made the experience frustrating. I hope Cate Now clarifies its co-payment procedures and ensures consistent billing practices for patients with double insurance coverage. read more

This place is extremely racist. I've been there going there every 4 to 6 months for the last 2 1/2 years there's been at least six times where I had urine analysis and they for some reason refused to take my urine to the lab half the time they won't call me to let me know my urine didn't go to the lab. I'll just think that I'm fine later to find out my urine hasn't gone to the lab many times it seems like if you're African-American and you go there for an STI check more than likely they won't take your urine to the lab for analysis. My daughter was sick for over a week when she went in for a very bad cough. They made her pay a $80 visit payment to be seen. All the position did was look at her throat and tell her it was a virus and to go home.. We then took her to another Urgent Care to be seen and paid another payment and that position ran test and found out that she had bronchitis and had to prescribe her antibiotics. Not only did they not properly treat my daughter care now they then sent her another bill for $300 so the visit cost $400 to look at her throat and tell her she was OK and she could go home. I would never waste my time or money specially the health of someone I love by having them go to this facility!!!!! My daughter could have had severe problems through this negligent act of disregard in not doing the proper testing that she needed done to get the antibiotics to prevent her from getting worse. They should call this place DONTCARE ! The only thing they do care about is taking your money. read more

Complete joke. Paid for sports physical for my daughter to go to summer camp. After waiting for an HOUR AND A HALF and after taking my daughter's vitals was told by front desk lady (who was very nice) that doctor wouldn't complete physical because "she didn't feel comfortable signing form". Didn't have nerve to tell us face to face sent front desk to do it. We've gotten this done at Care Now in the past with same paperwork from Clark County Parks & Recreation. Brought my friend to urgent care with torn shoulder and he can barely move his other arm, asked to get help to check in and the lady at the front with blond hair told him to type in his info on the iPad when he could barely move and in pain. My hubby had a lingering bad cough and we set an appointment up on line with Urgent care on Cheyenne in Las Vegas. Our first time ever using an urgent care. Took a wrong turn and the sweet receptionist, Carla, gave us a new appointment only a few minutes later. Only a few minutes before being called into seeing a doctor. Amazing facility! So organized and spotless! From the caring helpful receptionist, to the staff and Dr./NP Arlene Roberts, everyone was so nice to my hubby. No, they were all awesome! My hubby left with his RX already called into our Costco Pharmacy. So quick! I checked in online to save time. The online site told me it was my turn and I was number one in line and to arrive in five minutes When I arrived, five minutes later, I was told it would be a long wait. I would not have stopped what I was doing and driven over if I had accurate information. This is incredibly inconvenient. What's the point of signing in online when it is not accurate at all. This place is super unprofessional if your in need in real Urgent care no NOT come here they said if i made a appointment i would be first, no they still had me waiting which is not a big deal but the part that really got on my nerves is when i actually got into the office they had me waiting another 40mins i would understand if they were busy but no they were not it was me and one other person there, you could just hear nurses and doctors joking and talking outside my room had me waiting. DO NOT COME TO THIS URGENT CARE. This is the most unprofessional urgent care I've ever been to in my life. I never expect a visit to be quick, but we waited hours to be seen by a doctor even with an appointmen. Most days - one doctor on staff. When you check in online and they call you in, still expect to wait 1.5 - 2 hours. As I have said before - it's just not a well run operation. They also got a diagnosis incorrect once and only realized after I went to my GP. I really don't understand why they wouldn't utilize the online check in system better. The point is to minimize wait but it does none of that. Also, hire more medical professionals who can see patients. Pay them well - I'm sure you all make enough out of this operation. Do not come here ever. RUDE I wish I knew the name of the two reps up front but I can't even explain how angry I am. They were rude and lied about the timing. Also, if it's walk in, why is there no one to provide services. This review isn't for the office staff or the manager Luke they were all very nice and professional. This review is for Dr Jon Leirry who doesn't want to do his job he just wants to test you for Covid and if you say no he then cancels the appointment and walks out of the room. As a mother of a 5 year old I took her in because she was running a fever and instead of doing all necessary checks (ears, throat, etc) they just wanted to test for Covid. I said no and that's when Dr. Leirry decided to tell me that he was the provider and that was what he was providing. I told him I'm the parent and I don't want the Covid test done on my 5 year old and then he said well then this app is canceled then and you can get your refund at the front and stormed out of the room. He was a complete ass I will never come back here. read more

I came in last weekend with a painful medical issue. I was the only patient at the time and checked in by the receptionist right away. I maybe spent 5 minutes at most with a doctor, who gave me two prescriptions and said to contact my PCP after the weekend, which was my plan all along. But here's where things get fun. I took my prescription across the parking lot to CVS - one of the "prescriptions" was an over the counter cream, the other was $200 and not covered by insurance. I walked back to CareNow and the receptionist went to speak with the doctor and brought me a different prescription. I walked back to CVS. The new prescription is still not covered, and is now $300. At this point, the pharmacist found a discount for me online and reduced the amount of the prescription from 10 days to 5 to bring it down to a reasonable price. I realize it's not the doctor's priority to figure out what my insurance might cover but given how quickly I was seen and sent on my way, the doctor not coming out to talk to me when I returned with an issue, and the seeming lack of concern to do anything besides "prescribe" me a basic first aid cream... I'm not thrilled. read more

If it would let me do zero stars, I would. I went in with cough symptoms asking for Benzonatate(non opioid non drowsy cough medicine that comes in liquigels) and prednisone. I have asthma and garbage lungs all the way around, I just need this cough to not go into bronchitis and unfortunately, that's what it takes. I was not taken seriously at all. In the end I was prescribed a cough syrup but in HALF of the minimum dose for a CHILD. And enough prednisone for like, 1.5 days. Just save yourself the frustration and save yourself the money and go somewhere else. I wish I had looked more closely at the prescriptions before I paid for them and took them home. I do I check in the kiosk then front desk approaches me with attitude telling me that it's a two hour wait and if I wanted to stay or leave. that's not how you talk to customer. PA that I saw and all the other medical personnel were professional, caring, explained everything well and great bedside manner. Checked in online thinking it might lessen my wait time. Nope, an elderly woman walked in after me who was "not tech savvy". Do the finalizing of my insurance was put on hold so front desk could do the entire check in process with this customer who came in after me. I don't fault the older woman, but the business should choose how checkin is supposed to work. In this case, have the check in available in paper form for customers like this older woman (that's what she asked for). Essentially if you can't do it online you skip ahead of everyone who did. read more

Cheyenne and Durango-a bit hard to find but Google Maps has the answers. This is a very Clean, Open, Light and efficient urgent care. This coming from someone who is extremely sick and not happy. From the registration--only 5 people in the lobby-to my being taken care of I would encourage anyone to come here in time of need. I The medical assistants are efficient and caring. Kristen-the PA is a genuinely professional and compassionate intellectual. She listened to all of my signs and symptoms including my breath sounds. A chest Xray was ordered along with a respiratory treatment. Completed in 2.5 hours and I felt so much better. This is the place to come for a welcoming staff and clean Urgent Care. These one star reviews are 100% accurate. Lady up front has no attention span of who's in her lobby and could care less about the job. Had 3 walk in people come in 45mins after I checked in and went before me. Because I didn't check in with her witch I did. Be super careful if you visit this Urgent Care. I received a huge amount bill due to their doctor (or nurse practitioner) wrote wrong diagnosis for my visit, which result in my PPO insurance refused to pay. He wrote I visited there because I had foot calluses. Here is my situation: I went there on March 1 due to my left foot little tote infection, swelling, and huge pain even when I walking with sneakers, so I went there around 6pm and was able to see a doctor (or nurse practitioner not sure) around 7:45pm. He was not listening carefully with patience, he even didn't touch my little tote to diagnose, he told me: just wear a comfortable shoes, no medicine and treatment needed. Even at that moment I was suffering huge pain and my little tote was swelling badly. I showed him my Nike sneaker and was not sure what kind of shoes will be more comfortable for a lady. Even more shocked, I received a big amount bill since my insurance refused to pay for a foot calluses&core visit. I tried to reach the office three times regarding that doctor's wrong notes on 3/1/2022, nevertheless so far I didn't receive any call back. I didn't get any treatment and even any correct diagnosis from this urgent care so I had to visit a podiatrist on 3/2/2022 to get help for my swelling, infected, broken little tote. This is one of those CareNows where you're going to wait a while no matter what, even if you check in online and they call you to come in. Wait is about 30-45 minutes if anyone else is ahead of you (not including time for paperwork/ID), plus another 15-30 once they've got you seated in a room. Nurses are very nice, though, and the docs while friendly are a bit light on writing RXs, offering more general remedy advice than you typically see out of these clinics (usually, their only question is what to RX you or what procedures you might need). That I don't mind at all for minor stuff, but if you know for sure you're sick and just need an RX to get through it, might want to find another clinic, especially if you want to get out of there in less than 90 minutes. read more

This CareNow location is responsible for my mothers death. On September 7th 2022 she went in complaining of chest pain and congestion. They gave her a Covid test and the okay to return to work. She died less than 24 hours later. A 58 year old woman who smokes a pack a day and complaining of severe chest pains and no one thought to look further?
