Although it was late in the evening, the staff wasn't rushing to get out of the door. They took their time. They listened to what I had to say and I was able to ask questions. This last Friday morning I had to take my grandson in due to him having an ear ache. With my son and daughter in law being out of town, I was a little worried about how the process would be without the parents being present. The lady's at the front desk were so amazing with getting us checked in. Nikita made the process of getting their insurance info in and getting consent from my son seamless. I know some people might say well that's their job. But, now a days unfortunately a lot of people do their job with a bad attitude. These lady were wonderful to work with. I came in with a severe groin pull. From beginning to end everyone was wonderful. Reception was gracious and helped me before I had to sit down and get back up . The xray tech was great, she tried to accommodate my issue with pain. Finally. Heidi RN was so kind, she offered a wheelchair an when I declined, she gave me the closest room. Quick and efficient self check-in process. The gals at the front are super pleasant and informative. As for the care portion and main reason for the visit, atrocious. I came in for pain on my left big toe probably from an ingrown nail and what looked like the beginning of infection. Doctor Tom came in and took exactly 10 seconds to tell me the same. Decided not to do anything about the root of the issue or the pulsing pain (literally said to leave it alone even after I asked what we should do about it) but did prescribe antibiotics. I was in a bit of disbelief at the very irregular attempt at "care" which the doctor noticed but said "sorry, we don't do that here" then walked out. I walked out right after the Doc left. This visit was an utter waste of my time, copay, and insurance money. * After coming here and looking, I did notice there are many 5 star reviews from users who've only ever submitted a single review on Yelp, for UMC quick care, and also a fair number of 1 star reviews with experiences similar to mine. Props again to the front office staff for following up (phone call) about not completing my discharge paperwork or receiving my antibiotics prescription. read more

I remember dreading going to UMC when we were little because you'd wait forever to be seen. This location is truly the exception. Everyone here is kind, the facility is clean and quiet and the staff I encountered truly cared. That goes for the front desk woman, Michelle in intake, Dr. Todd and last but certainly not least, Barb in X-ray! She was such a ray of light and honestly makes you forget you're in pain. I dislocated my knee so she had to X-ray it and while I had to get in some uncomfortable positions, I was laughing and not even noticing. Barb is super sweet and very personable. Waste of time and money Went to get my ear and lump on my stomach checked after waiting 3 HOURS Dr. Alejandro did nothing didn't check my ear didn't acknowledge the pain area where I have a lump that is painful. A lump and he said it was just acid reflux and asked me if i wanted two days off work. They didn't do any test on me. Just sent me off with an acid reflux Medicine and referral for acid reflux which is definitely not my problem. read more

"Quick Care" is an oxymoron .. the office experience is good, proficient with a self check-in computer; the office is clean, quiet and comfortable. However, the 'care' is no way 'quick'. A Thursday afternoon with only six patients ahead of me, I spent two hours alone in an exam room to have three minutes with a PAC to prescribe cough drops for me. When finally attending to me, I asked if they were working alone and the reply was 'there are two of us seeing patients today.' While waiting and listening to chatter and laughter by many voices outside my exam room, I remembered why I stopped visiting this facility.. two hours of my time, wasted. More physicians or PACs need to be seeing patients and not keep us waiting while feeling bad. Discouraged read more
