Check in was fairly simple and I signed the screen by the reception area. I was asked if I had an appointment and I notified them I was a walk in. They notified me it would be around 1hr and 30 min wait. I showed them my barcode for my drug screen and they had me fill out the necessary paperwork. From the moment I walked up to the counter, everyone was so nice and helpful. I was able To wait around 30 minutes since I was a drug screen. The staff did a great job of keeping me informed of the next steps and made this screen a breeze.

It's next to a few other businesses such as Fabulous Freddy's Car Wash! There is an ample amount of parking spots available. As soon as you walk in, you'll notice a lot of open seating available! At the front are the Southwest Medical administrative team to check you in. Make sure to call Southwest Medical Urgent Care first, prior to coming, to confirm your healthcare insurance is accepted. The team here is amazing! The service was quick and efficient. I'd recommend stopping by Southwest Medical Montecito Urgent care! I usually end up going to an urgent care when my primary is unavailable to get me in within a week!

I went back a week later because it was getting worse, the second PA tried to I&D my abscess with a needle and without using any anesthetic, ignored my pain completely. I ended up then going to UMC ER a day later, they properly drained my abscess with lido and also changed my antibiotics to the correct ones. For me it was a waste of time and money coming here.

This experience was not only disappointing, but unacceptable by any reasonable standard of medical professionalism, particularly where a minor patient is involved. My 11-year-old child was forced to wait nearly two hours to be seen, with no meaningful communication, explanation, or updates provided during that time. The clinic appeared clearly understaffed, yet no effort was made to manage patient expectations or show basic courtesy. Long waits can happen; complete silence and indifference should not. The conduct of Supreet Kaur, PA, was especially troubling. Her demeanor was callous, dismissive, and unprofessional. At no point did she demonstrate empathy, urgency, or accountability. In a healthcare setting--particularly urgent care--this lack of professionalism is both alarming and inappropriate. Equally concerning was the behavior of the front desk staff. After I calmly voiced a legitimate complaint regarding the excessive delay and lack of communication, the staff member at the counter appeared entirely indifferent. Most egregiously, I was threatened that my son would not be seen at all simply because I complained. Retaliating against a concerned parent--especially when the patient is a child--is wholly unacceptable and deeply unethical. No parent should ever feel intimidated or punished for advocating for their child's care. No patient should be subjected to hostility for asking reasonable questions about delays. And no medical facility should operate in a manner that suggests patient concerns are an inconvenience rather than a priority. *This review is for Adult Medicine*…read more Drove my mom to SW Medical today, 4/10/2026, for blood work and a doctor appointment. My Mom has to use her double wide manual wheelchair for appointments instead of her electric wheelchair because RTC Paratransit doesn't pick up in my neighborhood (she lives with me). The manual chair is so wide that she has to stand up and use her walker to get through the doors to the exam rooms, I have to fold the chair to get it through the door, and then, once we're through the door, I open the chair so she can sit back down. It really wears her out. By the time we got upstairs to Adult Medicine for her doctor appointment, she was completely pooped. The nurse who called her back, got two other nurses to assist us getting from the waiting room to the back. After the appointment, there were literally like 5 people- nurses and doctors- who came to assist my Mom out of the room. Two nurses then escorted us to the service elevator and out the ambulance entrance so Mom wouldn't have to stand up again to get back into the main lobby. They also pushed her to the car and helped her get in the car. I just want to commend the staff in the Adult Medicine department. You made my Mom's day. She said she felt like she was getting the VIP treatment. These days, that kind of customer service in medical establishments is rare. Thank you and may God bless you all!

I had a C-section for my first baby on the 24th and was told by my delivering doctor that I would need to be seen by an MD within the same week to have my bandage removed and incision looked at. My primary OB office (Sienna) didn't have any appointments available with any of the MDs so I had to go to this grand montecito location. This location is a 40 minute drive for me mind you. After being taken to the exam room and talking with the nurse, we overheard the nurse and Dr. Maligaya questioning why I was in office and saying that I am being seen way too early. She didn't even want to see me and had the nurse come in to tell me that I shouldn't be seen for another 2 weeks and to turn me away. I informed her that I was told by my delivering doctor that I needed to be seen by an MD the same week and I was just following instruction. I was also attached to a battery powered suction device underneath my bandage that only had a 5 day battery life. The nurse leaves the room and Dr. Maligaya walks in, again, questioning why I was there in the first place. I told her as I told the nurse that I was just following the direction of my delivering doctor and my incision needs to be checked and the suction device needs to be removed. After going back and forth for a bit, she smacked the exam bed and said "well let's go, let's remove it then". My husband had to step in and tell her that we are just going to leave because she clearly was very rude, wasn't listening to me or believing me about the instructions I was following from my delivering doctor, and made me feel like she didn't know what she was doing. I drove the 40 minutes to this location 4 days after my C-section, in pain, with a newborn just to be treated like this. Never going to this location or seeing this doctor again.

Not my first time with him. He did not perform any exam, just insisted all he could do was fluids and ibuprofen. He then said that the last time I was there (April 8th), he recommended I go to a larger hospital, which I did and have concrete records of that I obtained from Centennial Hills Hospital. He said that he knows I didn't go, that he called, and in fact, a nurse informed him that I was "wandering around outside" after the visit. I can understand refusing care but to then accuse me of lying and wandering around outside is absolutely insane. I have never been more insulted. I left and went to Centennial Hills hospital again, where I was eventually admitted and kept for 36 hours. Doctors take an oath to do no harm.

I felt like they genuinely cared. The one complaint I have is that the cafeteria closes at 2pm!! What?! Meanwhile Mountain View hospital cafeteria is open until 2AM!! My poor husband is a hungry guy and had to leave me and our new born at the hospital a few times just to get something to eat. Other than that we truly did have a great experience.

I was a patient for 69 days..I had more issues that occurred while being there and when I was released to a facility, I'm glad we left that facility and headed back to Centennial Hills Hospital. I needed medication that the rehab center could not provide. Some nurses are very nice and so are the CNA and other workers. I loved the people who delivered the food. It's not their fault that the food sucked but they are genuinely nice people. I'm a little on the fence for some of the CNA Workers. Some were horrible and some very nice. Bed side manners is important so they need to be nice and polite when speaking to someone. Something that doesn't cost anything is a SMILE. It goes a long way. Some needs to lay off of the cologne/perfume. It's like bathed in it to cover up the gunk smell. The care itself was good. Some RNs that stood out were Aubry Real (ICU) and Eleanor from the emergency or ICU floor. Some RNs needs to retire. Not so good bedside manner. Always check your meds to make sure if you don't need to take it, stop it. Ask questions, as I did every time. Some workers are gentle and some are just rough with you. I stopped them and said something if they were hurting me while inserting my meds through my IV. That means they need to redo the IV. Its leaking. Knowledge is key so read up on things to get knowledgeable. Ill update more soon.

Everything were close so I decided to took him to an ER we arrived 10pm they passed him fast, Nurse check him then the Dr check on him in the first 30minutes... they made an X ray at 11pm. Nurse gave him Tylenol/ibuprofen for the pain while waiting for X ray result. After that no one came back to check my son, I have to go and ask them what's going on? What will be the next step? They just said "we are waiting for x-rays results"... the results came back until 4:30am, with an obvious results of a fracture on wrist. Finally they put a cast and we can go out at 5am.. This ER needs to improve or work with a better X-rays company, 5:30hrs for X-rays results it was way longer.....

As a matter of fact, the next day when I returned to have the dressing changed, she tugged at it to remove it... I shouted, "No! No!" and grabbed her hand to stop her... then she (because SHE hadn't done the dressing the previous day) and I realized that there was some WONDER pad that is obviously applied FIRST to exposed red meat where all the layers of skin are gone, that SLIDES OFF not sticking to the wound. Then she argued with me about what we saw when she uncovered it... I let that go.... Then as she was applying the LAST stage of the dressings...that stretch bandage that snugly holds it all in place, I HAD TO TELL HER to UNROLL IT FIRST, THEN put it around... not wrap around my arm TUGGING at it (which HURT!!!) At least the first one did a good job dressing it the first day I went in...and expressed sympathy at the pain during cleaning it... but she was snooty-ooty too! They act like you're bothering them.
