Went in for some lacerations. Both the LMRT and MD had the same last name and I suspect was a mother/daughter. Dr. Karina Gutierrez Lopez cleaned and stapled one of the lacerations but not the second one. They were 1/2 inch away from each other. She put antibiotic ointment on the wound and placed a bandage over it. I was told not to get it wet for at least 24 hours. After 48 hours I removed the bandage and noticed she did nothing to the second laceration. I refused to revisit this location so I went to another facility to remove the staples and they asked if a student performed the procedure when they saw it. They also said the other laceration would leave a large scar because she didn't do anything to close it. Terrible quality of care.

Front desk employee was not friendly whatsoever. Came off very rude as soon as we walked in. Don't recommend coming here.

She took the time to listen to my concerns, thoroughly assess my condition, and explain her treatment plan in a way that was easy to understand and gave me confidence in the process. Dr. Lily is the kind of physical therapist who makes you laugh so much, you forget you're actually working. We bonded over our love for reading and somehow turned therapy sessions into plot twists and punchlines. 10/10 would recommend--especially if you like your healing with a side of humor! Thanks to Dr. Lily, I've regained strength, mobility, and hope. She's not only an excellent therapist but also a wonderful person to work with. If you're looking for someone skilled, encouraging, and truly dedicated to your recovery, Dr. Lily is the one.

There is a ballad waiting to be written - something along the lines of Arlo Guthrie's "Alice's…read moreRestaurant Massacree" perhaps - about this woman who is strong, obstinate and disturbingly determined. The ballad should also be about the place that heroically enabled her stubbornness and resolve. Here's the raw data, and wildly, every bit of it is true. I pieced it together after speaking with about a dozen people. 10 weeks after having undergone two heart procedures, my nearly deaf 93-year-old mom sets out on her own for an adventure. Her goal? The scrumptious lox bagel at Mary's Cafe. She missteps exiting the car and... kaboom! She falls and breaks her hip. She is literally across the street from St. David's Medical Center. A kind man rushes to her aid. Together, at her command, they get her BACK IN THE CAR. SHE DRIVES HERSELF ACROSS TOWN AND GOES HOME. There, she realizes that she can't get out of the car. She is half in-half out. After ten minutes, an innocent passerby in our quiet residential neighborhood hears her bleating plea and - again - at her command, helps get her back in the car, whereupon mom DRIVES HERSELF ACROSS TOWN AND BACK TO ST DAVID'S. It took three nurses and the manager of concierge services to extract her from her old beater Honda - the one with manual door locks - and it ended up in valet parking alongside the Porsches and a Ferrari. Mom would go on to have a nine inch nail inserted in her hip and spend two weeks at St. David's, one week in the Medical Center and one week in St. David's Rehabilitatiom Hospital. Here she was treated with dignity and compassion by every single person we encountered. And there were tons of them. Every effort was made to make her feel comfortable. Cozy even. The staff made her laugh. Encouraged her. Listened carefully to every word she said. Her in-house doctors watched over so thoughtfully. The physical and occupational therapists helped her to understand that she *could* meet her goal of regaining her independence. Yes, there were times when a nurse promised to bring her something and then forgot, but really, things couldn't have gone better. The food? Not too shabby, and if you are a visitor, there are alternating pop up caterers for things like sushi, Indian and Mexican food, every week day. Parking? Free if you're over 65. Just scan your driver's license instead of your parking stub. And my mom's old beater Honda rubbing shoulders with the glamor cars in Valet? I drove it out myself... free of charge.

He then said "the address is on your paperwork" and I said what paperwork, I went to the front and asked the girl and she said the prescription was sent over and I didn't need anything else. I get to the new location (walgreens) and was told they don't have my prescription. Now I'm frustrated. I call back to MedSpring and a lady answered and told me that my profile shows they sent my prescription to a CVS?!?! Beyond annoyed. Story gets better, I call back MedSpring and they said they are sending the prescription to Walgreens. Here's why they're my go to urgent care. 1. Location, it's right down the road from me and I can get to them quickly, 2. Easy to book. You can do it on the cvs app, fill out all the info including your insurance and it's all taken care of before you get there. You can also check in from your phone so you can just walk up when you're expected. 3. The space for the clinic is clean and has plenty of seating that is spaced out. You don't have to be on top of other sick patients. 4. The nurses and doctors here are all friendly. And patient. So patient. This last round of illness made my gag reflex very reactive so my strep test was dramatic. The nurse was super kind and didn't laugh- she should have. I did. 5. Your script can be sent to the pharmacy located 10 feet outside the clinics door. Honestly, the biggest wait was the pharmacy getting my meds ready- and that's a different review!

We were able to make her an appointment online for that day, and had to wait outside while she went in. So far, so good...but when she came out, she informed us that the receptionist had said curtly that it didn't matter what our co-pay is ($30), that they charge a flat fee of $90 for patients with our insurance plan, and it had to paid up front. So she put it on the credit card. After a wait of five days for the PCR test results (negative), I gave the insurance a call and found out that they had billed them $300, and our co-pay was indeed $30. So we were overcharged by $60, which I don't intend to let them keep, on top of their already pricey charge for a simple Covid test. The EOB (Explanation of Benefits) from our insurance company finally posted online, and I tried to call the clinic's billing office, which doesn't answer their phone, and left several messages over several days. Waste of time. So I initiated a credit card dispute. You would think that having the EOB and a receipt would have easily netted me a refund of the $60 overcharge, but almost two months after the visit, I'm still wrangling with this mess and wasting more of my time over something that should never have happened in the first place. Lesson learned to avoid this clinic, and hoping to save others from the same treatment.
