Unacceptable. On my first attempt to use this facility, I brought a child with a hurt arm. Told front desk why we were there. Registered everything - it was a loooong proces. A second employee asked if we might need X-Rays some time after waiting. I responded affirmatively and they said, sorry, ours has been down for a long time. Go to the Brentwood location and we'll transfer your info. Would have been nice if they updated the web site that said X-Rays available. Or stopped me before registering. They also did not transfer any registration or check-in information. On my second attempt, I had a bleed cut that I mentioned was work related. They said it was illegal to care for me unless I had prior authorization. I said no worries, I'll pay cash or credit because I can't wait for a prolonged claims process. The front desk person dug in and said it was illegal. I asked for the her to show me the specific law and she started getting huffy. There was nobody ahead of me for the majority of the wait but others that got there after me and without appointment went back. I do my registration online so no trouble there. They don't have x-ray onsite so if you suspect an ortho injury, go to Bone & Joint Walk-In. I came here on Monday of this week & I had a very pleasant experience. I logged on their site and made an appointment to come in, the virtual assistant asked how many miles away from the clinic I was, and then it kept me up to date on where my position was in line to see the doctor. This way I allocated the appropriate time to drive there. Once I arrived, I checked in, paid for my visit and waited maybe 2min before my name was called. Dr. Rudge (not sure on spelling) was great! I went for DOT physical. I was there for almost 3 hrs. They were not busy. I was 2 in line. The nurses were great. The Doctor took 2 hrs to come in an see me for 10 min. They do not care how long it takes to help and they will not stop to give you updates. Do yourself a favor and go down the road to another urgent care clinic. Seriously, Franklin traffic may be a whole ugly animal itself, but you'd be better served waiting in traffic than in a waiting room at this place. Two visits in two weeks. During my first visit, I waited in the waiting room for an hour and a half and then was taken back. While I was in the waiting room, I heard the receptionist tell multiple people that this location did not accept appointments. Lisa Graham was unprofessional and argumentative about a medication. She recommended a certain type of medication, and I notified her that, based on my multiple prior experiences with this medication, I needed X brand. She argued about the very existence of that brand until she finally looked it up. It's not an obscure medication by any means. So I go in today, a week and a half later, with no improvement in my condition and the possibility of cellulitis. I checked in online at 3:32 pm. I arrived at the facility at 4:28 pm. Was told that "today" they were setting appointments by phone calls (which directly contradicts what was was a week and a half ago). The receptionist told me to come back at 5:10 for a 5:20 appointment. I did so. 5:50 rolls around, and I'm still waiting. I asked the receptionist what time I would be seen. The receptionist said I was still the second in line. I again asked her what time I would be seen. She walked away without saying anything, and brought Lisa Graham up front. Ms. Graham did not speak to me, but told the receptionist that she "did not have time" to notify me of when I would be seen. I asked for a refund of my copay, yet I received a text tonight saying there was health information available from my visit today. I cannot access this link, but I'd it turns out they they bill my insurance or my refund of my copay does not process, I will be reporting them for billing fraud. Not only does Ms. Graham provide incompetent care that lacks knowledge of common medications, she has no idea how to run a practice, has some of the worst bedside manner I've seen, and negligible time management skills. read more

As a physician, I keep to the moral code of not treating family. Therefore, when my son was sent home from school with symptoms consistent with a sinus infection, I thought it would be a good time to check out the level of care at this particular facility. I only came to this urgent care facility to secure a prescription for antibiotics, already knowing what was wrong with my son. I did not inform anyone that I was a physician. Lisa was the Physician Assistant who saw my son. I found her to be far less than competent. She argued with me about the need for antibiotics, saying it was viral in nature. First off, a determination of the type of pathogen present requires lab work, preferably by PCR. Second, this person clearly has no knowledge of how common it is to have multiple pathogens infecting a patient simultaneously. She was very aggressive and curt in the way she communicated with me. We left with orders to "just treat it with over-the-counter medications." After which, I immediately took my son to Williamson Medical Center to get a R (upper respirator pathogen panel), which came back as bacterial sinusitis... what I had originally assumed. He was prescribed antibiotics. In short, don't expect quality care or accurate diagnosing at this urgent care facility. read more

Just had a horrible experience in the waiting room. This is very unfortunate since a few years ago, I had a wonderful experience with the Dr when I brought my son in on Memorial Day with a serious laceration on his foot. Today I left shaking and angry. I brought my son in with a bloody/ broken nose ( from an elbow to it during basketball) as well as a possible concussion. I had the worst experience at this location. Lisa Graham was my provider. After sitting in the waiting room with an ear ache for over an hour, I sat again in the room for almost an additional hour. The nurses were very kind and helpful but Lisa took every opportunity to make me wait longer, and actually yell at/argue with me about what I was feeling or what the nurses said. I desperately needed assistance before speaking at my dad's funeral tomorrow and she was not only unsympathetic but aggressive and combative. STAY AWAY! These folks have a racket going on! When I got there and filled out the papers, I told them I didn't have insurance, and that I would be paying cash. I saw Lisa for a spider bite. I got a steroid shot, prescriptions for steroids, and antibiotics. When I got ready to pay they said I owed $135.00, and they would bill me the rest. I told them I'd rather pay it all instead of being billed. The lady went to the back to see what else I owed. She came back and said it would $145.00. After finally getting my change, and that was an ordeal in and of itself, I left being paid in full. Or so I thought. Yesterday I got a bill in the mail that said my total charges were $385.00, and I needed to send them $47.00 right away. Does that mean they will continue to bill me every month until I've paid them $385.00? It makes no sense. The receipt I got in the office, nor the receipt I got in the mail have any services rendered listed. I have no idea what they think I owe them for. Needless to say, I will not be paying since I paid in full. But I will go there and make them give me a breakdown of services rendered. read more

I went to the Care Now Urgent Care in Franklin on 01.01.24- The first thing I noticed was the receptionist did not want to be there. He states the wait was 45 minutes ( well, that is 45 minutes in the waiting room) which was actually more than an hour waiting to be brought back ( and of course, there is no communication) Once, I am back there I was told that 4 people were ahead of me and it could be an hour!! ( hopefully not she states) Dr. Rudge comes in and is not the most personable. As I tell him my symptoms - sinus congestion, headache, losing my voice. and ask for a steroid shot and an antibiotic, he states no I think just rest and fluids will do??? He eventually told me he would call in an antibiotic . I left and was told it would be called in to the Pharmacy. It was not called in till the next day and when I called the Urgent Care, the person I spoke to states that she would call me back- no follow up what so ever. I have called to speak to a manager and launch a formal complaint, I do not expect a call back so I am taking it further and calling the TN dept of State as this is a sad excuse of Health care and the people running and working here should be ashamed!! read more

My 2 year old had an infected finger that needed lacing and antibiotics. I called and scheduled an appointment- show up and they refused to see my TWO YEAR OLD because I have a medical condition and can't wear a mask. I asked for a face shield - they wouldn't provide me with one. So because she is obviously not old enough to be seen on her own, my child was denied care because of my personal medical issues! I received a call from Tiffany bright and early Sunday morning. She talked me through the next steps to register for a telehealth visit, gave me a PIN to start the registration and called back to confirm firm that I had no questions or issues with the process. Once I completed the registration, within minutes I was on video-conference with the PA and had a prescription sent to my pharmacy. I sent it back to my insurance & it was corrected. I just went yesterday, 3:45pm. I was on the wait list until 5:45pm. Needless to say, I told the doctor, what eye drop I wanted for my Left eye. He proceeded to do his job, tell me that I am not allowed to tell him what to do. Then he stated he sent my prescription. I didn't get the prescription until 11am. I have been a loyal patient at the Franklin Rd location for several years. They set the bar extremely high for this company as far as I'm concerned. This was my first visit at this location, however, and I assure you that I will not be back. My fiance made this appointment for me at 8:30 am. I received a call an hour later that I would be seen in the next few minutes and to leave now. We waited in the waiting area for over another hour. Then in the exam room for another hour. We didn't leave the office until nearly noon. About 3 1/2 hours for an urgent care facility. This is unlike anything I've ever experienced at a CareSpot/CareNow. This should've been an hour-long process at the most. The doctor I saw was a bit rude and scoffed at several comments I made, which I didn't really appreciate. It was almost like he thought he had something to prove to me. I'm back there hacking up a lung, my lymphnodes are so swollen it hurts to turn my head, and I've missed several days of work, obviously. I'm telling him I frequently get sinus infections, and was told "You're on the tail end of this, you'll be better soon. Go home and rest and eat some soup. Don't blow your nose too hard." So I dropped $160+ to hear someone tell me that I need to not blow my nose too hard and eat some soup. Oh, and also cost my fiance a half-day of work. I don't know about you, but my insurance is not great, and it is extremely expensive for me to see the doctor. I haven't been in over a year, because it just costs so much. I went because I am desperate for some relief. And I feel the same today as I've felt every other day. So, not only did I sit in an all-but empty office for half a day, but I literally threw away money at this location. read more

Had an appointment there today. Filled out all of the forms online including pharmacy information. I was done within an hour and the NP told me that they were sending my prescriptions at that time to my preferred pharmacy. She even asked what pharmacy and I told her along with the location. I called Walgreens shortly after I left and they said they didn't have anything. I waited an hour because I figured they might be behind then called back, they still didn't have it. At that point I started calling Carenow and have been calling for the past 2 hours and gotten no response. Something tells me to go to my car and get my paperwork, I went to the clinic because of back issues so I didn't really feel like going down two flights of steps at my house to get it before then have to walk back up but at this point I just did it. Lo and behold they sent it to CVS, not Walgreens! I rechecked my profile online and saw that I did in fact put Walgreens and it's location on there. So I guess they just decided where their preferred pharmacy was and sent it there. I call CVS (a review is coming for them shortly) and they tell me they received the prescription at 1, it's now 5, but they haven't filled it as they are 3 days behind. ‍ This has been the worst experience ever with this clinic and I hate that because I've been there several times.
