Went in to get checked out was told I may have some new infection or something simple I was given a 2 day note and I was told I would be able to call for an extension to my work note depending on how i was feeling on the third day if needed, when I called on the third day everyone there acted like I had no clue what I was talking about. read more

I went there yesterday and I couldn't afford the appointment but was told I could pay a minimum of $75, which I didn't have until this morning. So I went in again today and I let the first girl know that I had the minimum of $75 ready and she told me to have a seat. The second lady, which is the one I spoke to yesterday, and also told me the minimum was $75, calls me up about 10-15 mins later. As I walk up, they're both staring at each other with this weird look and the first girl starts snickering and im just standing there for like a solid 5 or so seconds while they stare at each other and snicker, which feels like a long time in the moment, and the second lady just looks at me and says "um... we can't see you today. I talked to my manager and It's going to be a $100 minimum". Just assumed I couldn't afford it. She was right in assuming so, but it was embarrassing to have blurted out in a waiting room. Gave me no reasoning as to why. I was so caught off guard and embarrassed with how rude they just were to me that all I could say was thank you and walk out. I understand if they can't see me because of a minimum payment, but the way these girls treated me was so uncomfortable. I felt like I was back in high school again. I would not recommend this place and I wouldn't go back again. This is not how you're supposed to be treated by healthcare professionals. It's not hard to be nice and professional and it's the minimum I as a sick person, who is already going through enough, asks for. And I'm seeing all of these other awful reviews and it's the same theme and looks like it has been for years. Women in the office treating other women badly and even subjecting them to abusive behavior, referring to the review of them making her taking her shirt off in the waiting room to take blood pressure and then being told that she, the patient was being rude because she was uncomfortable with it. It's absolutely wild and it's so sad and there's clearly no one doing anything about it. We as women should be a safe space for one another. A place of !!health care!! Ladies are significantly rude, they made me take off my sweatshirt in front of everyone to take my blood pressure then called me rude bc I didn't want to take my shirt off in front of everyone. I asked to do it in private. The lady who took the swab of my throat, shoved the swab down my throat in an effort to cause pain bc I was not happy about being half naked in front of everyone! I left this place crying at the care I received here, or lack there of. I've been sick for 2 weeks and avoided going to get care because I knew I'd be pushed a medication with no answers.This is exactly what happened. The physical listened to my breathing and referred me to another place because he "didn't know". No blood was taken, no test were ran, nothing was done to actually see a cause of the issue. They did not even try to help. They just issued a pain medication and sent me out. I paid $190 to have my breathing listened to and a urine sample. Great local medical facility! Woke up to congestion and clogged ears and decided to visit. Checked in online which was seamless. I was able to upload insurance cards, personal info, etc at home and set appointment times I received text confirmation. I was greeted by a nice lady at the desk and seen immediately. I know this location is usually very busy so I was lucky to see an almost empty lobby. The lobby was very clean and COVID protocols were followed. My vitals were taken by a nice male nursing staff member and I was probed to determine the reason for my visit. I decided to take. COVID test to be sure. The wait to be seen was about 10 minutes after my test. They provided my results immediately along with self care instructions from the nurse practitioner on staff. This was my second visit to the clinic and both times I had a great experience. I would recommend. read more

I went in there today for an ankle injury from 2 weeks ago. I got charged an emergency fee of $65 instead of my co-pay of $10. I don't know how they figure it's an emergency when I came in of my own free will during business hours. I was happy with the doctor and the staff. But that excessive fee for a non emergency means I will never go back. That's nonsense. Changed from 2 stars to one when I realized they told me I have a fractured fibula and never showed me the X-rays. I hope someone from there contacts me because I'm not a happy camper. Rude staff and poor communication. My boyfriend had an accident at work and I called on the afternoon of the Fourth of July to make sure this office was open. A woman answered and I said that I was just calling to make sure they were open. She just said "okay" and I said "okay, we're on our way ". We got there at 4:55 and one of the doors was already locked with a sign saying that they were closing at 5. We got three blank stares when we walked in. No greeting or concern. I understand that it's a holiday and this isn't a retail job, but how about a little customer service? I said I'd just called to make sure they were open and was now told that their holiday hours were posted on the door. It was very obvious that they just wanted to leave. Walked in collapsed on floor grabbed onto a chair and called help me... No one that worked there even acknowledged I even walked in. They could care less. I don't think anyone at front desk even looked over their computer. DISGRACEFUL! Do not enter this horrid business. I have insurance and all they would do was call an ambulance. They never even took my vitals. I guess if they acknowledged I was there and took vitals they would have to write up an incident report and that would be too much work for these lazy, uncaring staff. Recieved a call with updates but I missed it by one minute, I immediately called back and was put on hold for 40 plus minutes. I called back several times and each time was put on hold. After about 8 calls , someone answered and told me nurses were busy and I would receive a call back in a few minutes. 4hours later I call back and same thing, sent to hold, no answer , final answer and she has an attitude "we are extremely busy today you will have to wait until tomorrow to get a call back." I was extremely nice each time and it is very hard to believe that within 12 hours they are open one nurse doesn't have time to come to the phone? Why have a phone service then? Now it is day 2 and 2 pm and no callback again have been put on hold 3 times already. The Dr's I have had have been fine, but the whoever answers the phone has no regard for people's time, money or health. Very sad experience. One of the most unprofessional health facilities I've ever been to. The staff was extremely rude. I don't know how they've even managed to hold onto their job with their attitudes the way they were. Lucky for them I'm not their boss because I would've fired them all on the spot for treating customers as disrespectful as they did. My wife went in because she was having trouble with her asthma and needed a nebulizer. She had to get a COVID test and when the COVID test came back she was positive. Instead of treating her for her asthma like she went in for, the doctor refused to treat her for asthma and told her to go home and quarantine and then if she got worse to go to the ER. Had I of known that Care Now was a Tristar facility I would have never stopped in there but when your not feeling good and you try to find the closest spot. I spent an hour in there, go to pick up my scripts after waiting 25 mins I'm served up 2 of the 4 scripts, and instead of taking me off hold and telling me you screwed up and you been wasting my time because you didnt submit them all is garbage. I've been to this urgent care twice. The first time I had a decent experience. This last experience was not so good. I was in and out fairly quickly, so that's a positive about this encounter. However, I came in with a sore throat. I had to ASK to be tested for strep and Covid. In these times, you would think that they would do this on their own. Then when the physician or physician assistant came in, he barely did a physical assessment on me. He didn't ask me my history. He just came in looked at my throat and gave me a prescription. He didn't even auscultate lung sounds...... just not a thorough examination to have costed 175. Never returning. :) read more

If you're willing to pay for Shelia Lowery to tell you nothing's wrong with you then this is the place to go. I've always went to this clinic and have always been taken care of until this doctor told me I had a sinus infection after I told her, I have pain, vomiting, cough, sore ribs, back, and throat I was diagnosed with a "sinus infection." I have no tension in my face area that would conclude a sinus infection, or any sinus infection symptoms for that matter. She acted as if she was not concerned with anything I said and made her own conclusion disregarding my symptoms. She stated, "you should start drinking 2 or 3 L of water" and I explained to her I've been drinking a gallon of water a day for three years now. She suggested I drink more than a gallon; there's a such thing as drinking too much water and you're only supposed to drink half of your body weight in Oz so why would you suggest someone drink more than a gallon when that's more than they should be drinking as is. I asked her "how did you come to the conclusion of a sinus infection from the symptoms I've given you?" She responded, "because that's what I'm diagnosing you with." I didn't receive a valid explanation and she walked out talking to the nurses stating "she knows everything so I'm not going to talk to her." What kind of doctor speaks negatively about a patient to their nurses?? This was the worst experience I've ever had in a medical facility. I won't be back if she's there. read more
