I can't say enough about Carey's Body Shop. When my truck was hit recently, I chose Carey's to do the repairs; we had prior experience with them and knew the quality we would receive. From the time they received my truck until I picked it up yesterday, the customer service I received was top notch. I always knew who was taking care of it and received text messages to keep me updated on the repair status. Everyone I spoke to was professional and courteous. My truck recently received hail damage due to a storm/tornado in our area. I checked with a few places closer to home, but ultimately decided to go to Carey's. I had previous experience with them a few years ago & was very pleased. I'm so happy I went with them again!! My truck looks brand new again!! They go above & beyond to help you through the process with the insurance company & to get your vehicle repaired & back to you as soon as possible! They stand behind their work! A kamikaze deer ran into my car on a recent visit to Pa! I was a bit worried when this shop had only a couple weeks wait while the others favored by my insurance company were looking at 2 or more months! Also, some of the past reviews were a bit harsh. However, from the first contact, I was totally pleased with their customer service. I was given an overview of the process and - satisfied with them - made an appointment. We've since picked up the car and are very pleased - the replaced parts fit well, the color is exact, and the inside was cleaned to boot (the latter is better service than our dealership gave us last visit!). Hopefully we'll never need their services again, but you probably do if you're reading this - Ask for Buddy! read more

Worse experience ever had a car accident went with a different repair shop per my insurance (State Farm) my vehicle was supposed to be fixed here after calling them and telling them about the problems they advise me to drive the wrecked vehicle to them after they knew my insurance covered towing the tru went 1 mile and the tire came off of course they then came and towed it (extra charge) after it was fixed 2 months later (I'm in a rental) I had to pay 2 separate deductible $1000 when I picked it up was told it's still knocking I needed to take it to a mechanic shop over $9200 in repairs and I still had to take it someone else waste of 3 months I would not send my dog to these people read more

Absolutely horrible experience. I wouldn't recommend Carey's to anyone it's not the same Carey's as it was before. The manager Buddy treated us terrible and put us back in a vehicle that was not safe to drive. My truck does look great other than a loose antenna but the way we were treated by Buddy was inexcusable. read more

I tried to post this once but I guess it didn't go. So here we go again. I wish I could give them a negitive 5 stars. First off let me say that I am a out of service Fire fighter. I broke my back so I very seldom drive my truck. My son had a wreck in my Police Edition Yukon in Dec.. Needless to say no one eles will drive her again. To save money they put a non oem or a used hood on my truck. We had 6 inches of snow. Snow melts I find three dents in the hood. FROM SNOW. So it makes me pay more attention to my truck. I first notice that my 6 strobe lights are missing. They put new lights on it, but neglect to install the strobes. No biggy I know how to install them. So I open the hood to find that my stobes are missing. They have been unpluged and removed from my whelen controler. The power supply wires where left uncapped heck they didn't even put black tape on the power suplies or ground wires. GOOD thing I am a trained fire fighter because this could have burnt my baby truck to the ground.. BUT WAIT I notice that my controller box is sitting where my 2nd battery WAS? Holy smokes Batman they stole my battery. I look to where my battery isolator was. they decided to keep that too. They where nice enough to leave the hot and ground wires on my truck. Again not caps no tape. I am extremly lucky my truck didn't burn to the ground. Any idea how embarrising that would be for fire fighter. They decided to save money they would tint my window insted of buying a oem window. The tint is actually made into the glass. Well anyone who dose window tinting knows you cant tint windows when it i below freezing. Because the water and glue freezes. YUP I now have bubbles top to bottom of that window. If need be I am sure I can find video of my truck when it is lit up on my laptop some where if needed. My son that was driving my truck is a MMA fighter. He bent the stering wheel and broke my seat. They say that the seat could have been broken at anytime. So they refused to replace it. I was told that I cant prove the other things where there so they wont replce them. What is funny is I broke my back driving the same truck. They replaced my head lights then. They put the strobes back in during that wreck. This time they just stole every thing. I guess times are hard for them too. They did how ever offer to retint my windows. But no thank you I will do it myself. They may steal the wheels this time. My truck will never EVER go back to that shop. I can't stand a thief. So just for a recap 6 whelen strobes, a battery, a battery isolator and the whelen lights wiring where all stolen.
