I had an incredible experience here last week. I swore to god I would have remembered their names, but I just can't find the receipt. My wife and I shopped there on 9/16, around 4pm. I was on a mission to replace my 6 year old paint and grease stained jeans, which I do have a great emotional attachment with - my wife not as much. The First Gentleman (was it Ian?!) greeted me, looked at my jeans, back at me, and said: "you are here shopping for some new jeans, aren't you brother?" When he hit me with that "brother," I nearly broke down. I felt seen, heard, and validated by this tall gentleman with a long, grey beard I can only dream of having one day. If it weren't for him and his introduction to the Business Discount Program, (Carousel City Woodworks and Carousel Guitar Company), I wouldn't have found my new favorite pants. Forgot the model name, all i know is they are made with the same rip-stop material as my EMT/Paramedic cargo pants. He helped me try on 6 other pairs of pants even though I overheard from the dressing room a manager kindly remind him it was time for him to clock out for the day. He introduced me to the young guy behind the counter, and we talked about heavy metal bands for a bit while he fussed with the laptop for me to enter my business info. He took genuine interest in my company, and I love talking about myself, so that was nice too. I'm sorry to have forgotten his name, but I appreciate what he brought to the experience. Again - super friendly and genuine! I always wanted a pair of legitimate shop pants, and have never owned anything from Carhartt before, and these guys made the sale, as well as my day. I'd left my winter coat and hoodie behind on tour at a Detroit venue in late February followed by a day off in Syracuse. When I walked in to Carhartt, not one but two employees immediately empathized with my story and found the exact coat that I was looking for. They even made sure I tried on a few options to get the right size. I was also directed to the rain defender hoodies which would be the best product for my strenuous workflow moving forward. Above and beyond prompt and attentive customer service. I left my hotel room at the Embassy Suites on foot cold and alone, and returned warm and fulfilled within one half hour. Big ups to Jacqueline, and her co-worker. I didn't catch his name but he was also very kind, engaging, and helpful. I wish them both the best of luck in all of their future endeavors. read more

Love this store! Great place for work or casual clothes. Good selection, friendly staff make For a great shopping experience. I came in to get some work gear. I'm pretty tall and they do have tall sizes (starting with Large and up) which I consider a huge plus. I will be back next time I'm needing some work clothes. read more

Great store and for the most part great products I have only ever been unhappy with one thing I have EVER bought from them. absolutely LOVE the " fishing" rain jacket I bought last year. The employees are always so nice and willing to answer any questions you have, and give an honest answer! I asked one employee what he thought about a specific style of boot they sell he said honestly its our worst boot, it gets returned the most for having material issues. I APPRECIATED THAT SO MUCH! plain and simple great products great people and an awesome loyalty program if your a frequent going and buying stuff JOIN IT! read more

The older guy with white hair and glasses.. listen I understand customer service and I get it that you don't want to have people going through clothes then you have to re-fold or re-stack them. But when someone says twice that they are all set please stop asking if you can help them. The second to last time I was there I actually walked out and I was trying to buy a few pairs of jeans and a flannel. read more

Was greeted as soon as we entered and offered assistance. I explained what I was looking for and the associate helping me took me right to where I needed to be. He noticed that I was wearing my USAF veterans cap and informed me that Carhartt offers a military discount for active duty as well as veterans. When checking out we were offered to join the loyalty program and how it worked. Overall very pleased with the store. read more

I was in the store recently. I had a good experience with the service and the store was tidy. My only issue with the cashier was that she did not link my groundbreakers loyalty properly and I missed out on points. Normally, I keep receipts forever but discarded my receipt thinking everything was okay per the cashier's words. Love Carhartt brand though. read more
