This is by far my favorite cafe in Key West. Excellent organic single origin coffee beans, gourmet snacks, delightful atmosphere, and friendly Baristas. Meggie pours a killer matchaccino!

Started my morning with a much-needed refreshing iced vanilla latte and a croissant sandwich. The coffee shop has a nice laid back feel. The items came out pretty quickly, but we were able to eat inside with a/c.

I was in the area and was excited to come back here to have some great coffee. I had a terrible experience. The man working the counter was rude and couldn't care less about my experience or that he misheard me saying "whole milk" for "no milk". Will not be coming back, so disappointing. Also the coffee was really bitter. Don't know what happened to this place.

Beautiful Location near the water and convenient to anything in tiny Key West. Go for their breakfast burritos. Abundant and delicious.

An absolute MUST if you are in Key West at the head of Duval St. A super cute shop with amazing coffee, drinks, pastries etc. The two ladies working when we were there are sooo nice and helpful. Made our coffee exactly as we wished to order and had some great suggestions based on our likes. It was 9 am so Key Lime pie isn't the usual choice but the wife and I are on a bit of a KLP quest so we had to try theirs. Super unique but in a traditional style. Sweetened-condensed milk drizzle, almonds on the whipped cream outer rim with just the right amount of pie to whipped cream ratio. If I had a note it would be that I like my Key Lime a bit more tart. Other than that ...chefs kiss. This is right where you catch the Tour Trollies so when you are waiting or when you get off, search out this place.

We've been twice so far with excellent service both times! The second time we had a large order and while it took a bit to get the order out we appreciated the hard work of the two women working the shop. Great coffee, breakfast sandwiches, croissants, and açaí bowls :)

Great coffee. Had a few different ones while in Key West and this place was the best. Tasty pastries and food for a light breakfast/brunch.

The food was not prepared properly and I would not recommend stopping here. You can get a full sit down meal for the same price.

Once inside we learned the owner roasts all his beans, organic and all the products are environmentally friendly. The coffee is AMAZING!! We had a late and cappuccino. The owner is so nice they serve fresh baked goods (very small food menu but we had the banana bread, cranberry cake and savory sourdough roll). All delicious! They also sell coffee beans (I just ordered some for delivery) and wish I was local - i would be going daily!

When we walked to Doing Work Coffee, we were initially a bit confused and weren't sure we were in the right place. That's understandable, since it shares space with Wicked Lick Ice Cream. Fortunately, the owner noticed our confusion and warmly invited us in. Food: It wasn't listed on the menu, but they were happy to make me a London Fog tea latte. My son ordered a white chocolate latte. Both drinks were good. Personally, I prefer coffee served in a mug, and they only use paper cups, which took away a bit from the experience. They don't offer much in the way of baked goods, but they did have butterscotch scones. The scone was slightly too sweet for my taste, but the texture was excellent. They heated it for us, which made it even more enjoyable. Service: The service was exceptionally friendly. We felt genuinely welcomed, and the owner took the time to have a conversation with us. After hearing his story and seeing his commitment and work ethic firsthand, I found myself rooting for his success. Atmosphere: Since they share space with the ice cream shop, the environment isn't fully coffee-centric. Coffee is the focus earlier in the day, with ice cream taking over later. There is limited seating, and for me, part of the coffee shop experience is slowing down, drinking from a proper mug, and enjoying a calm, dedicated café environment. I'm not sure what their long-term plans are, but I hope they eventually move into their own space. They clearly care about what they're doing, and it would be great to see them grow into a full coffee shop experience. Best of luck to them.

I arrived around 7:30 a.m., and the place was already starting to get busy. Food They offer a very interesting assortment of donuts, including flavors you don't typically see elsewhere. Options like Blueberry Cheesecake, Brown Butter Hazelnut, and Cuban Coffee Cake stand out. I chose the Cuban Coffee Cake. It was essentially a spiced coffee cake shaped like a donut, topped with plenty of glaze and crumble. The portion was generous. It could easily feed two people, but I managed to finish the entire thing. For a beverage, I ordered a Mocha Latte. The flavor was very good, but it was served on the cool side. It was completely cold before I finished, and I ended up tossing the last portion. They only serve drinks in paper cups, not ceramic mugs. Although mugs were visible, I was told the health department does not allow them to use them. For me, coffee in a real mug always feels better than paper. Service I have mixed feelings about the service. The person taking my order seemed a bit on edge. When I asked about the mug situation, she appeared annoyed that I would even ask. Since it was my first visit, I asked about the most popular donut, and that also seemed to irritate her. I rephrased and asked for her personal favorite instead, which she answered more willingly. I noticed a few other staff interactions, and the overall tone of the crew felt tense. Not sure if that's typical or if it was just a busy morning. Atmosphere I took a small table inside to finish my coffee and donut. There are several small tables, best suited for two people. Toward the back of the dining area there were boxes and pallets visible. This isn't necessarily a place you visit for ambiance. Most people grabbed a box of donuts and left. Only a handful were dining inside. If you want a good donut with creative flavors, this place delivers. Just don't expect a relaxed coffee shop experience with welcoming, friendly staff.

Both were really good but I would say the maple bacon one was better just because the Cuban Coffee Cake was thicker, more doughy. But the flavor was delicious on it I just liked how soft the maple bacon dough was. Either way, I can't wait to come back and try more flavors. The coffee was really good as well! Scott was so great, such a pleasure to meet. Will come back very soon!
