Easy 5 stars for coffee!! I tried other cuban coffee in key west, but cuban coffee queen tops the list. We tried the one in Key west square. I got the cafe con leche, cuban espresso with steamed milk. Usually dont take sugar, but I tried it this time to get the authentic cuban experience. My friend got the iced version. The ice cubes were made of coffee as well. No shortage of caffeine at that place. Service was also very fast. Got the coffee in less than a minute. Pretty good vibes as well. read more

Ordered Cuban Bread with Guava which seems to be very expensive for a simple Cuban Bread with literally bland tasting Guava spread and not the usual flavourful syrup like finish. Their Hot Roast Beef is too plain as well, may need more marinade or a different sauce mix. Grabbed their Cafe con Leche as well, make sure to taste it first before you leave so you can add sugar as you wish. Took our breakfast towards the nearby Fort Zachary Beach as they have picnic tables around. Their pricier side may have been invested on their fancy branding but not so much on the taste of their food. They have some bench outside while waiting for your order, a nice Key West mural on the side and a nearby marina to walk by for scenic stroll. read more

I got an iced coffee. The coffee was literally premade from a huge tank. I saw the server just take it out, stick 2 sad ice cubes into it, and serve it to me. Place seemed empty when I walked in. Don't understand the overwhelmingly good reviews. Although, I will say as a Cuban, there was definitely that familiar kick in the coffee. Just wish it was made properly. read more

My husband ordered the breakfast burrito, while I kept it simple with an iced coffee and a Strawberry Twirl for the kids. One thing I've noticed in South Florida is that many restaurants advertise Cuban-inspired dishes, but not everything truly reflects authentic Cuban flavors. Someone we met at our hotel recommended this spot, and since I have Cuban friends and family, I was looking forward to enjoying some familiar tastes. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to my expectations. I can't say I've ever had a breakfast burrito in Cuba, so I'm not judging it on authenticity alone--it just wasn't for me. The service was excellent, and the restaurant itself was clean, welcoming, and had a great setup for guests. In the end, though, flavor is what matters most to me, and this meal just didn't transport me back to the flavors of Havana. read more

Just wow. Now, I'm not a huge coffee drinker in the traditional sense but I love sweet coffees. Normally I find legitimate coffee places to be too strong for my taste but this was the best frappe I've ever had. Perfectly blended - flavors and texture. The team definitely has quality ingredients and knows exactly what they're doing. This specific spot also includes a gift shop. It's tucked away but worth the visit, they even have some bites if you're hungry! read more

Delicious! We found ourselves in Key West for half a day as a cruise ship port of call on the way to the Bahamas. Tired and thirsty after a 30 minute walk in the summer, we decided to stop by for a pick me up with some Cuban coffee. The Yelp reviews looked great so we gave it a shot. Overrated? Not at all! Coffee was strong and amazing, cafe was spacious and clean (the air conditioning was a life saver), and staff was nice. If you're in the area wanting some good Cuban coffee, look no further. Came by for coffee and lunch. Service was super helpful and friendly! There was lots of seating and a fan to help keep it cool. It was pretty hot since outside only seating but the fan helped a lot. Got the turkey sandwich, beans, and a blended coffee. Overall a solid lunch! read more

In Key West and seen this place from a TikTok video! A cute little coffee stand that sells food and coffee! I got the vanilla iced coffee and my boyfriend got the chocolate mocha. it was yummy and very light tasting not overly sweet. It didn't come with a million ice cubes either so that was a plus! What an amazing coffee spot! We did not try the food so I can't speak to that, but the coffee and smoothie was exceptional! The location is cute and shaded with lots of tables to sit at. When in South Florida it is a must to try Cuban coffee and food! There are a ton of places to choose from but personally we love a good mom and pop shop. This coffee spot is a must try in our book!! My husband and I went here before catching the ferry to travel to Dry Tortugas. We got there pretty early in the morning so we easily walked up and ordered but shortly after we arrived a line formed. It's just a little walk up window that has an array of items including coffee, smoothies, and Cuban food. They had a great deal which we got which was 1/2 of a Cuban breakfast sandwich and a coffee for I think $10. The sandwhich was delicious and the coffee was fantastic! We even went back to get a bag of coffee beans to go. The area around this little walk up cafe is very cute. It's close to the water. There are public restrooms about 15 feet away which I was shocked with how clean they were. It's the typical key west feel so there are tons of chickens roaming around. Also, there is a fun key west sign right around the shop that is a great photo opt. read more

A few of us took a break from walking along Duval to get a couple of beverages, one hot mocha latte and one cold iced coffee. Both were good. The shop is located down a small alley, away from Duval, which makes it a great spot for relaxing. The service was friendly and efficient. Next to the coffee shop is their roasting operation. They have a large roaster on display, and you can buy bags of their most popular beans. There's also plenty of merchandise available if you're looking for something for yourself or a gift. Definitely a place I'd return to, especially to explore more of their coffee and freshly roasted beans. read more

Cuban Coffee Queen is a must try when you're in Key West. I stopped here during a bike ride for a colada and a smoothie and it hit the spot. I tried their "Re-hydrater" which mango, strawberries, orange juice, and pineapple juice, it was exactly what I needed. Super refreshing, hydrating, and not overly sweet. Perfect stop to cool down and recharge. read more

Found this place from a video of reccomended places to go. Definitely popular. For us it was average. Breakfast sandwich with chorizo. Was chorizo links not ground which wasnt what I was expecting more smoky than i anticipated. Tried the ice coffee with mocha which was good. Husband had the cortidito, probably sounds silly but he said he preferred a starbucks cortado. So just not for us but was very busy so others like it here. read more

I'm Cuban, I grew up drinking Cuban coffee, and I know what good coffee should taste like. Unfortunately, this just wasn't it for me. My iced coffee was initially so overwhelmingly sweet that all I could taste was syrup. They kindly remade it, but the second one went to the opposite extreme and just tasted bad and unbalanced. What really disappointed me was seeing the coffee being poured from a large jug of premade mixture directly over ice and coffee ice cubes. I was expecting freshly made espresso, especially from a place specializing in Cuban coffee. Maybe this works for people looking for a flavored iced coffee, but if you're used to authentic, freshly prepared Cuban coffee, this may not be what you're expecting. I really wanted to love it based on all the great reviews, but it just wasn't for me. read more

This place is good with food and coffee but in my opinion its not true cuban coffee. Service was ok more of a chain restaurant/coffee shop nothing to brag about. I got cuban breakfast burritos and a cortadito, burrito was under seasoned and the coffee had too much milk, ask for it to be changed and they prepared it the same. Looks like they have a specific measurement for the drinks. Overall this place was ok, alot of tourists (me being one lol) but I have drank ALOT of cuban coffee and unfortunately this was not it. Nice place and all and great marketing but I guess I was expecting more. Its nice to sit down and see the chickens eat next to you just not jumping on top of you to eat your breakfast. I order from them regularly and I ordered some bags to my son's house and they were damaged by shipping (popped open) and I sent an email and they replaced them, in very short order. I was excited to try Cuban coffee. A cafecito is a traditional perfect way to start and end the day for many a Hispanic and I really wanted to try it here in key west so close to Cuba. I was a little concerned once I arrived at the shop, because it does give off a very "Americanized" look. But we ordered two coffee, iced cafe con leche. 2 shots of espresso with milk, one with sugar one without. Not sure if the average Cuban loves a sweet coffee, but the coffee is on the verge of being just a bit too sweet, but it's still a pretty good coffee. The coffee without sugar was pretty good as well, but I do need just the slightest amount of sweetness with my coffee. I could have ordered it more specifically, but for a first time visit I couldn't complain about what I got, I drank it all down. Staff seemed nice in our brief interaction. Ambiance, this is a smaller outdoor cafe with outdoor seating with little chicken friends. Overall a nice little treat to start your day, or end your meal with. I'd definitely come back to try more. read more

Awesome little place with cute key west souvenir and most importantly, Cuban coffee! Has a built in cafe where you can get coffee drinks and some foodstuffs like desserts including key lime pie. They also have fresh packed coffee whole beans and ground to take home! Price is so much better than Starbucks. Make sure to get some. read more

A must do when visiting Key West. Terrific magical bean juice with lots of options for different varieties of caffeine concoctions. The menu does a great job with explaining what is in each drink. Everything we ordered was delicious!! They also have breakfast and lunch options. Lots of locations throughout the area. The one in Key Lime Square also has a store that roasts the beans while you watch. They also have gifts available for purchase, as well as all of their varieties of coffee to take home (both whole bean and ground). The stand is great and you will see roosters and hens all around. They have picnic tables and a covered seating area to help with the sun or random rain. Great vibes! read more

My fav Cuban coffee in Key West was at Cuban Coffee Queen at 5 Key Lime Square. I tried some of their other locations, but the coffee was not made with as much love. Had the Cuban bread with guava and cream cheese which was not what I expected but was good. This location is where they roast coffee. Has a good amount of outdoor seating. read more

When you walk up and see a long line you quickly realize you nailed it. From the direction we were walking, it wasn't obvious where this place was, tucked in among buildings but I loved the location. It's a covered patio with about 8 communal tables. Across the way is where they roast their coffee if you're looking to grab a bag of bean to go. We ordered the Key Wester, a mango smoothie and iced coffees. It seems across the board people were getting the KW and Iced Coffees. We had our with ham and it was delicious - certainly hit the spot with the ice coffee being the perfect complement. The smoothie was also very good. As mentioned by others, the vibe was fun and energetic. I think people were excited to get their days going and / or reminiscing about the previous night. Either way, lots of smiles and laughs and I'm sure the coffee and food was going enhancing that! read more

I'm extremely disappointed with the customer service provided by Cuban Coffee Queen. After placing a delivery order online, I received a phone call informing me that they don't offer delivery after 3:00 p.m. and I should pick up my order instead. Firstly, there was no indication during the online ordering process that deliveries weren't available after 3:00 p.m. When I requested the girl to cancel the order and refund my credit card, she responded that she didn't know how to do it. Subsequently, I asked to speak with the manager, but there was no manager available. Despite calling back the same day, the day after, and even a week later, I have yet to receive my refund. It has now been two weeks with no refund and no callback from anyone regarding my refund request. read more

Well, I came to Florida with high hopes for a top-notch Cuban sandwich. But I've gotta be honest, the ones I've had so far haven't exactly bowled me over. Maybe I set the bar too high, or maybe a Cuban sandwich is just a Cuban sandwich - not sure how you'd jazz it up. And a word to the wise, if you grab a sandwich here, eat it right there and then. I made the rookie mistake of walking home for 20 minutes with mine and it wasn't the best idea... But hey, it wasn't all bad news. The coffee here? That was pretty good. Best cofee in town for a reason and the sandwhiches are some of the best in town too. be prepared to stand in the line bercause it can get long at times. I would say to try the cafe con leche with raw sugar is the best choice by far. they have good sandwhiches too I wish they had plantain chips though, that would be nice. read more

Amazing coffee! We got the iced coffee with caramel and it was delicious. The ice cubes are made with coffee so your drink doesn't get watered down as it melts in this heat. The staff were super efficient and drinks were made to perfection in no time. Definitely will be back! read more
