After a year of supermarket shopping, I am a semi-pro. Super markets are tricky... not all items are necessarily cheap... The okras are by far the most reasonable that I have found! I really like that there are all kinds of naans and rotis! There are a lot of seasonings available for a lot of indian dishes that I want to make. It is the best option for the West side of Orlando, so I won't complain. Environment I am surprised that the store is actually quite big. This is located in a plaza across from Key Foods and beside Meats Choice. The inside looks overall clean to me when I went. There is also a food market inside! Niceness of the staff The guy at the cashier doesn't always have the nicest attitude. Then again, I know what I am going for and never have questions. Dollar Again, with grocery stores it is tricky. It looks small from the outside but its pretty big on the inside especially when the extension is the produce seafood and meat are located. It is clean inside but there is a stench when you reach the produce meat and seafood aisle. The shelves and items are organized and neat and somewhat easy to find things in particular. The freezer section to em need to eb restocked since a few areas were almost empty with items. I was in a hunt for a small bottle of LKK Hoisin sauce and they offered smaller bottles for about $3 I think. They have reasonable prices on some items. And some are similar priced to other asian stores nearby. They do sell the viral fruit ice cream pops that come in those containers where it holds the popsicle stick. I was not interested in them so I passed them by. This store is not busy or crowded like Lotte or Enson. This place has a good variety of cute kawaii dishwares. I would come back here again but I prefer Lotte / Enson for more variety.

You can also order catering sizes of some items- I called on a Monday for a short notice potluck the coming Thursday, and got a small, 50 pc catering order of Lumpia. The lumpia came with sweet chili sauce, and I was able to also buy a bottle of banana ketchup. Everyone loved the lumpia, and it was a great way to share my heritage. I am a mixed heritage first gen Filipino American, and even though I don't speak Tagalog because my father never taught us, I felt welcomed immediately and the foods I have gotten here made me feel like I was genuinely back with my family and the foods I grew up with my paternal family serving. I have noticed they do not sell or cook much food on weekends any more perhaps the pricing. Sisig is $9 from the cooler section. It needed more onions when I bought it last time. This is one of the best sellers btw. I will still support De Guzman but the price increased has slowed me down going here. I feel like you know you're getting older when you get excited about grocery shopping. Normally when I go to Publix, I'm irritated before I even get inside. But this place? A completely different experience. Walking through and seeing all the locally grown vegetables and the meat selection -- clearly labeled as hormone-free and without all the extra junk you get at typical grocery stores -- was honestly mind-blowing. The prices were so reasonable I couldn't believe it. I purposely brought a cooler for the two-hour drive home, and even with everything I bought, I didn't spend over $100. If I had purchased the same items at Publix, I'm convinced I would've been close to (or over) $200. Beyond the prices, the quality and overall vibe made it so enjoyable. You're not breaking the bank feeding your family, and you feel good knowing you're getting better-quality food. The staff was incredibly sweet and genuinely seemed to enjoy their jobs. I was looking for boneless chicken, and one of the employees asked if that's what I needed. A few minutes later, he came back with multiple packs in his hands to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. It was such a thoughtful gesture, and I really appreciated it. One thing to know: the produce and meat sections are in two separate, unconnected rooms, so you check out separately in each. And if you're still riding that high from all the money you saved, there's soft-serve ice cream outside with seating -- which just makes the experience even better.
