Went here for the first time this past weekend. It was a good experience, albeit the majority of the employees seemed disgruntled and/or somber. I wasn't there to make friends and none actually ticked me off. The ones more genuine and seemed "happy" to be there were the men and women in the little separated cooked food area when you first walk in (you pay separately there, so maybe they are not affiliated with the actual store). Picked up some Asian (Chinese?) roasted pork strips (butt or shoulder?), which later turned out to be as good as it looked. Entered the market itself and was pretty amazed at how much they had to offer. I picked up some fresh chicken wings and goat meat (plan to smoke them) from the meat department. The employee there was not as disgruntled, but wasn't amicable either. I ended up picking up a few fresh vegetables, packaged spice mixes & bottled sauces, and what was left of the "real" wasabi (not the light green stuff a vast majority of sushi places provide). There was a lot of hustle and bustle happening at this place no doubt. I will return when in need of any Asian flavors or vegetables; or for more of that delicious roasted pork. Unless of course I find an Asian market closer to home that offers the array of products I want. My only real disappointment was having a cucumber rot within 1.5 days and having to toss it. read more

It's unfortunate that this grocery store seems to be outshined by the others in the area. They have a great selection of the same foods the others have! It's a quieter store than H mart or Lotte mart. They have a bigger selection of meat and produce too! I used to come here before the other bigger brands came to Orlando. This is my go to local store in the area for Japanese food items and condiments. Although Lotte and now HMart are nearby, they don't have nearly as many of the Japanese items I grew up with in Southern California. Prices are pretty reasonable as well here. Huge parking lot shared with multiple businesses, including many restaurants in the plaza. There is a strong fishy smell due to the large seafood section in the back right corner. Just be a mouth breather while you shop and you will be fine haha. read more

It's an older area of Orlando for Asian food and groceries. You can find fruits and vegetables to use for Asian cooking. Lots of other items as well. Good selection. Surrounding the market are coffee shops, boba tea, and restaurants. It's nice to have one area to walk from shop to shop for your Asian needs. read more

It's big and they have a lot but some stuff is expensive and their parking lot is weird. I like the variety though. I like the buns in the bakery but their bakery used to be way better. Their bakery is small now very very small. They have a little part that sells some roasted duck you can take to eat. Overall it's ok. Their snack section isn't huge either but they do have a lot of fresh stuff. Butchery, seafood and veggies are all fresh. read more

The store recently had some renovations so it looks totally different than what it did years ago when I first started shopping here. The store is always clean and the staff is always happy to help. I usually keep this spot in my regular rotation of Asian markets but on this visit, I saw a great big fish in the case, upside down dead and in another case I saw another one upside down gasping its last breaths. My go-to Asian market for years. They have everything you would need to make any Asian recipes. Love the many many variety of ramen, snacks, produce. They sell some Western items as well but it's what you would be able to find at the supermarket. The best part is their in-house bbq joint. Their roast pork is my favorite. They usually give you a sauce with it but I tend to just eat it with no sauce. Yes, the skin isn't always crispy but that's just a chance you'll have to take. They always got some great deals on their raw meats as well. Sometimes you'll even find certain delicacies that you'll rarely find in Western supermarkets such as durian, or chinese sausages, etc. They've remodeled since and it looks great. read more

We absolutely LOVE Enson market. As a man whose family has Chinese heritage, it's great to have a spot to get authentic Chinese groceries that isn't a bad price. The people there are relatively friendly and can help you if you have any questions! The isles are also huge and have a ton of items. The chili aisle is amazing and the bun aisle is great as well. They also have a couple of side shops that sell Boba Tea and hot food (usually duck, roast pork and fried rice) They also have seafood and you can get a number of things there as well. read more

Went in a Sunday around 11 am they were sooo busy !!! So many people They have limits on the sea food so you have to plan accordingly! I visited the Enson market today, hoping to get some live lobsters. Though they were out of live lobsters, I got the Dungeness crabs instead, which cost me around $40 for three. Considering that a seafood restaurant would have charged me around $60 to $70 for the same, I think I got a great deal. I also bought 2 pounds of shrimp size 31-40 for approximately. We'll probably have half of it leftover, and only use one pound for our dinner tonight. Though the fruit and produce section was chaotic and crowded; I was happy that they had items all ready in bulk for the lunar new year; I bought a 15lb bag of rice, pomelo, guava, lucky candy, persimmon, asian pears, and some fresh vegetables, which I plan to eat for the week. But I was disappointed with the lack of order when trying to get assistance for live seafood at the fish counter. While some people were waiting in line, others were cutting in, which made the process quite frustrating. I think it would be great if the market could introduce a system where we could take a number and get help with that number when it's our turn. Overall, I had a decent shopping experience at Enson market, and I would give them four stars out of five, mainly because of the lack of order when trying to get assistance with live seafood and the crowded fruit and produce section. read more

Pretty surprised at the reviews. This is one of my favorite grocery stores in Florida. I wish I lived in the area. They have just expanded within the past year that I've moved here. They are pretty busy and they just opened a self checkout area. This place has pretty good selection of Asian grocery foods from different cultures. They are expanding their alcohol selection the last I went. They have good produce and good selection of meats and fish. They also have a Boba area and a Chinese bbq area. I have recently written a review for pangs bbq if you'd like to see it, search for pangs. I highly suggest going when there is no line. Happy to see this place grow. I'm hoping they will have more ready to eat food that you can grab and go like at lotte market. And also hope they will have sashimi. read more

I haven't been here at the time it was 1st oriental supermarket now its new management and new store name! I noticed the store smells better .. no fishy smell upon entering. Also more organized. At the time they had good deals on oxtails and pork belly. Pork belly was 99 cents lb and Oxtails were $5.99 lb I think. I stocked up on both. Also at the ramen aisle they offer baby ramen noodles. Its only the noodles in the pack no seasoning insde. Just be aware. The hot deli serving the roasted duck and roast pork I heard is very tasty. I havent tried that section as yet. I still go at LOTTE for more of my asian needs because its closer and just in my opinion thety carry better meats especially korean GALBI ribs. read more

This store has amazing selection and I loooved the many options for Chinese snacks since otherwise I have to buy them online. You can find almost anything you need here. Only thing is I noticed the produce isn't the best-- you have to search around for ones that look fresher. Also the aisles are very tiny and can get crowded quickly! Seafood isle review- there's a no tip sign but the short Vietnamese man working the lobster section is representing the market in a bad unprofessional ways; first he is rude and will not acknowledge the customer even with the line backup around the corners until someone handed him money. I came for the crabs but couldn't get around it because there were line back up along the crabs tank. This store can do better by reassigning him outta the lobster section and have someone else do the job. read more

This is by far one of my favorite asian market I go to when I'm in Orlando. I love the wide variety of produce, frozen items, meats, and dry goods. They have sales on various items, and you can sign up for their rewards program as well. I like stocking up on my asian goodies before making the drive back home. Horrible customer service! Shopped a lot of groceries for the first time at this market. The peaches were brown inside already, the Chinese okra old and bitter, the bamboo shoots the worst, extremely bitter and inedible. I dumped them right away. When I called the customer service, a woman answered the phone and with very bad attitude. The call ended due to bad connection. Nobody answered my phone when I called back for several times. this grocery store is amazing for seafood. They have a huge variety and I can't even imagine how people take home a live King crab. I went there for $8.99 a pound salmon special they are having this month. I had to wait a bit because the worker was freshly cleaning the salmon. I will say there was a few bones, so be aware of that but for $8.99/# fora center cut piece of salmon, you can't beat it. The store is located in the Chinatown area off of Colonial, which does not seem to be the best area. I was there pretty early in the morning and didn't have an issue. The store does have a funny smell, but I'm assuming it's because they have so much product. It's difficult for them to manage with the amount of workers. I was there too early for their bakery or to go restaurant to be open but I would definitely try that at my next visit. If you need any specialty ingredients definitely check here. read more

Oriental supermarket west of Colonial Drive. If you have the stomach to pass the entrance smell (very strong not pleasant smell during this visit); it is a good place to find unique oriental foods. I stocked in noodles and sauces. Didn't adventure to purchase anything frozen as their freezers are so old and don't think can keep the correct temperature. This was my first visit and wow it checked all the boxes for me with what I was looking for. There are no Asian markets like this in Saint Johns County. There are so many items to choose from and if you're not used to Asian markets the scent of the store may be shocking. It hit me at first but didn't bother me. I was happy to see the selection available to make my own fresh ramen. If you're interested in quick "add water" ramen there were plenty to choose from. I stocked up on sweet chilly sauce, soy sauce, teriyaki sauce and ponzu sauce. It was reasonably priced. I also bought lumpia Shanghai from the freezer section also at a fair price. read more

The produce is always fresh and the fish is always of the highest quality. The prices are very reasonable, especially for the quality of the products. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and they are always happy to answer any questions I have. The location is actually pretty big and very organized. I was really impressed. There is plenty of parking in the lot. The shopping carts all seem like they are from other stores...lol? There is a BBQ place inside as well with variety as roast duck, pork, lunch specials and also a bakery. Niceness of the staff Little to none English... They don't seem to want to help you find anything... They aren't the friendliest people inside... Just get your items, pay and leave. Dollar I think they are decently priced for a specialty store. I am SOOOOOOOOOOO thankful that Enson have taken over this Asian market, at last!!! Whew, I've chosen to removed this place for the post few years till now, after the revisit of this market (After the suggestion of a Friend). You can sense the change of ownership from the moment you approach the market, by the organization of the grocery carts, and the options of the carts available. The shelvings are now in a dark black shades, and CLEANED!! The options of fresh vegetables are more abundant, lively, fresh, with lowered pricings than before. The meat cuts, selections, qualities, and again, actually lowered pricings! Then there's the seafood selections, as usual, many fresh choices to select from, and catered to your specific needs. And lucky for us, we just happened to visit on a Saturday, we got a 2.5lbs live lobster for $5,yes that's FIVE DOLLARS for an actual 2.5 pounds of a live Maine lobster!! And all the dried goods, sauces, frozen goods, etc, are self explanatory..... All I can say, I'm SOOOOOOOOOOO excited with the changes, and for sure, I will be back many more times!! Busy place on a Saturday. So many unique items I was disoriented. They sold Durian there which is a first that I've seen. Lots of seafood here to choose from. I noticed they do competitive market pricing here so if you come across a hard to find item, it might cost you a premium. Most items here are priced well but I saw one item normally $6-8 priced at over $50 because it was hard to find. I got a few items here that on Amazon would have cost 40% more. read more

I went there today to buy roasted pork which was a mistake. I asked for a pound but gave me way over which is fine but the shady part is you don't know what's behind the chopping board as they always hide it. Hence when I got home all I had is the fatty pork.
