Picked up some cheese and sausage recommended by one of the lovely workers who was very sweet and eager to share her knowledge about all the delectables. We also picked up a couple of bars of dubai chocolate. We are so fortunate to have places like these to expand our pallates and get to experience another country thru their food. We're the kind of family that can enjoy Greek one day, Korean the next, Thai after that, then German or sushi without missing a beat. Because of that, we're always excited when we find places that deliver authentic, flavorful food, and this spot absolutely does. We ordered the butter chicken, goat biryani, and potato samosas, and every dish delivered. The butter chicken was rich, smooth, and comforting. The goat biryani was beautifully aromatic with deep spices that really came through. The samosas were perfectly crisp and disappeared from the table almost immediately. One of the things that makes this place special is that it's both a restaurant and a grocery store, which gives it a great cultural market feel. You can sit down for a delicious meal and then wander through the aisles discovering ingredients you might not find anywhere else. Honestly, my favorite part of the whole experience was realizing my son has clearly found one of his spots. The food is great, the people are welcoming, and it's the kind of place that makes someone feel at home. I went on ahead and went grocery shopping too since our refrigerator looks like an empty cave. Needless to say, I now understand why my college student keeps coming back here, and I will too whenever I'm in town.

I did see a good selection of Mexican and South American items available and I was also able to grab five pounds of potatoes for less than a dollar (ninety-nine cents to be exact). We called all around Orlando for rambutan and this was the only place who sold it by the box for $19! Everyone else was selling it at $3.99 a pound and that would not have been worth it. I did not get to explore the whole place as I was just there for a rambutan run and it definitely fit my needs within my budget and I highly recommend this place for that fruit so you don't have to spend more money elsewhere for less! I really like that there are all kinds of naans and rotis! There are a lot of seasonings available for a lot of indian dishes that I want to make. It is the best option for the West side of Orlando, so I won't complain. Environment I am surprised that the store is actually quite big. This is located in a plaza across from Key Foods and beside Meats Choice. The inside looks overall clean to me when I went. There is also a food market inside! As I said, the store is small, but was well stocked with grocery items from not only the Phillipines, but from all over. Usually when I grab my coconut vinegar from an Asian market, I have a choice of one brand and either spicy or regular. M&M Phillipine Mart had several brands and I opted for a brand that just looking at their spicy coconut vinegar, I knew that I was in for a real treat. When I got home, I had to try a bit of it and it was so much better than the other brand. So, for the coconut vinegar alone, I will come here just to get that. The girl behind the counter was friendly and outgoing. I am guessing that she is the daughter of the owner because she said she sent someone to talk to her mother in the back. M&M Phillipine Mart is a great place to go and I strongly recommend it and I will give it five stars.
