Took forever to get our orders, one cup was only 2/3 full, waited forever for our last item. When we finally asked them for the rest of our order, they decided it was the item t hat had been sitting on the counter for 10 minutes, was the wrong item, and never called a name when they set it out. Also, the pumpkin syrup tasted rotten. 10/10 would not recommend. read more

I got a matcha with almond milk a little bit ago, and someone snuck some crack in there or something. That sh*t tasted SO good. I didn't catch the name tag of the person who helped me at the drive thru window, but they were so super nice, so shout out to them. They also got both of my drinks out with speed similar to a certain blue porcupine. phenomenal. read more

i order a cappuccino in a mug, suppose the service will serve a cappuccino in a mug with whip cream, they just serve in an iced and plastic container, taste only like water, not cappuccino at all. very disappointed order at caribou coffee at detroit lakes read more

This place was so nasty! The barista was wearing backless slippers and sitting on the counter with her back to the customers, coffee spilt on the counter, and the counters were so dirty and sticky! The spoon holder to make drinks had so much gross build up on it and the floors were covered in trash. Don't go here unless you want to get sick. read more

This is a large part of the reason I no longer work there. She's likely never going to be fired because the manager is the same way imo" to then receive a reply from the MAIN MANAGER. Besides the horrible manager and prissy employees, they never make my drink right and seem to have a resentment issue with me based on how I no longer work there. I'll definitely be emailing the corporation, but definitely felt a need to make this public so it's not just something "swept under the rug". Please fix this place. I use to love it, and now only go there as a last resort if I really need my coffee fix l, but usually end up just staying away completely. read more

Worst Caribou location in the US. I waited for over 20 minutes in the drive through line for a latte, and never moved after ordering. I finally gave up and left for another coffee spot. I've been to Caribous and Starbucks all across the country and even with long lines inside and out, I have never waited this long and still not moved or been served. If you've got an hour or so on your hands, this might be your place. If you just want a good coffee quick, keep driving. read more

This coffeeshop is pretty exceptional. The best experience I've had with coffee in a long, long time. This is my third trip to Caribou this week. I have ordered a different product each time. It will not disappoint. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable every time I have visited. Coffee was very fresh and environment was beautiful. Occasionally, I go to places that have music blasting in their lobby, but this was the perfect volume. Never to crowded. A lovely place for a sit down. Staff: Amazing****!!!! They seem to have a lot of challenges with plain old decaf coffee. Rarely is it ready and so they do pour-over into a pot -- which seems to always be empty. So sometimes you get a less than full cup, sometimes you wait while they grind beans. Sometimes it's still hot, sometimes not so much. Oh, and then there are the 2 sludge-filled cups I've had -- nice thick layer in the bottom of the cup. If they can't keep decent decaf available, they should just quit offering it. Luckily, there are other local options that don't have this issue. Today when they tried to hide putting the cover on the not-full cup was the last straw for me. They get a star for having great coffee, but aside from that it quickly takes a nosedive. Easily the most poorly managed Caribou that I have ever been to. 34 min wait for a large black coffee?! Ridiculous. They were understaffed and the cashier literally had no idea what she was doing. Whoever manages this location should have never left her alone during peak times. This by far is the worst managed outlet. They lines and assortment is poorly managed and apparently the unfriendly staff and poor timing management is the effect of becom8ng a German company! they have not been able to move people through or manage the customer flow on any holiday. read more

Love this place!!! Most of the workers are super friendly and outgoing. The coffee is always excellent...especially the campfire mocha. Grab a book or a game and hang out for a while. Don't forget to answer trivia question to save some money. read more

The 2 stars are for an amazingly sweet barista and the yummy drink she made me. But that is all they get. I have been going to this Caribou for 2 years and the atmosphere has been so warm and happy. Over the last week something has change, a total nose dive!! IDK who the new total grouch is who was walking around behind the counter but she definitely has brought my favorite place to have coffee down to a get it and get out feel. So thankful that it appears the regular staff is doing their best to maintain great customer service and a great product. Kudos to you all. I hope who or what is causing this change pulls it together. read more
