Mike did caricatures at my company's 2017 holiday party on a Saturday night, and he was great! He set up a system of tablets, one to draw on, and two larger ones so that others could watch him work his magic. It was super cool! He only did caricatures of side profiles, which allows him to work faster and get to everyone who wants their caricature done sooner. I wish he could do face-on portraits, but oh well. A lot of us had plus-ones at the party, so he was able to do couple portraits as well. He did me and my boyfriend together, and we really liked the caricature he did of us! It was super cute, and it was really fast! I'm glad he isn't one of those caricature artists who depict Asians with stereotypical features (you know what I'm talking about, the stereotypical squinty eyes and whatnot). He got portraits done in 10 minutes, and he also printed out the caricatures on small pieces of cardstock in plastic so that we all could take it as a physical copy. I also asked him if he could have the digital copy emailed to me. Sure enough, once I got back home later in the evening and checked my email, the caricature was in my inbox! What great service! I ran into this artist at a Holiday Party for my a company we were hosting karaoke for at Dogpatch Wine Works in SF. He is awesome quick and efficient. Not only that, but he makes you look GREAT. Reduce the chin accentuate the lips. He did just that for the coordinator of this event. She looked like Jessie J. She didn't need much of anything. I don't know what she was worried about. Me? Pfft... that's another story! Well he made my karaoke co-host and I look fabulous. He captured us without us needing to be seated, at my request. Who does that? Not many artists can do that kind of thing. DJ Purple is an awesome host, and I felt his greatness with my assistance should be captured for once in artistic style not just photograph or video but in some other media, so he did just that. Theses guys are amazing! They did caricatures at my wedding in Pismo Beach in June of 2016. The guest list was over 200 people and two of them were able to punch out great quality caricatures. They were the hit of the wedding. My wife and I were caught up talking to guests and we were unable to get a caricature that night. I texted Martin and told him that I wanted to get a caricature of me and my wife for our first wedding anniversary. As an event coordinator I get to meet and work with several vendors, with that said Mike & Martin were a pleasure to work with! Caricatures 4 Every Event was part of the Livingston High School Sober Grad event. We originally planned to have them sit outside where the grads would easily spot them, but the artists required more light, so they moved indoors to a quiet corner of the gym foyer--quiet, that is, until grads arrived. They spotted the artists; then I never saw the artists without a line the rest of evening. In addition, the grads expressed delight in the images! I highly recommend Caricatures 4 Every Event.
