This is my assumption just as how you assumed I am still dealing with my own as well as assuming I did not have a case. Only difference is that your assumption is false. Let me clarify things for you, I did choose to decide to write a review and/or response to your condescending attitude because like I said in my previous review, I just read your response. Even if I did not get to talk to you, you set your policies and your policy only talked about money Just as what your assistant stated during that time. You were not there when I talked to her so you cannot say what exactly I heard. You set your policies and all I heard about was money. This reflects to the "boss lady" that you are. My Google reviews on my lawyers were positive and they were positive for a reason. I find it hard to believe that you are respected in your field since you have that condescending and brash attitude, but sure, I'll take it. Your negative reviews were consistent so they are still relevant and reflects the type of lawyer that you are. Again, this is my opinion of my first impression of your practice. I wish someone would have left a real review before I wasted tons of money on this horrible lawyer! Carina seems very nice and helpful when we would have our meetings but all she did was take advantage of my poor mental unstable mother in law. We had told Carina that my mother in law was unstable and my husband, her son, and I would be the ones to address as well as the ones paying. She did not listen and did nothing but prolong our court date. Months later when we finally went to court for the divorce she did absolutely nothing... literally just got lucky that my father in law had no representation. We had seen a paralegal before we went to her and all she presented to the court was the paperwork that the paralegal prior had completed for us. When we finally decided to leave her and go back to our paralegal she charged us over 7,000 dollars when she did absolutely NOTHING. As well we had told her numerous times we wanted to include alimony, after all the marriage was over 30 years. Well, you guessed it she did not include it and when we realized it she wanted to charge us to go back to court. Why would I pay for her mistake when we mentioned it to her not only in our consultation but almost every time we met with her. Do not waste your money on this lawyer she will not do anything to help you and charge you as if she did the world for you. She was retained for a case but she was overwhelmed with vacation and other cases as she verbalized when she removed herself from my husbands case less than 2 weeks before he had to attend court leaving him with no lawyer to appear in court for a nasty custody battle. He was unable to find a new attorney last minute due to the severity of his case. In the end he lost joint custody of his son and Attorney Carina Reyna knew how crucial her appearance was. This company is unprofessional, the attorney didn't really have any time to fight the case and she spreads herself too thin. She definitely should work on the quality of work and not the quantity of retainer fees she obtains, because the first time and only time she attended court for the case she was kinda lost and unprepared.
