Growth and self-development have become a big part of my life, but I don't have much of a support system. Seeing Rachel provides me a safe place to talk and share my thoughts. Often times she provides me with little "a-ha moments." Things she says or suggests often make me stop and re-evaluate the events I had been stuck on, think differently about an action of my own doing, or to clear up an emotional blockage I was having trouble getting past. I appreciate when she challenges me on something and I usually end up learning something about myself. I have an easy time talking to Rachel and find her insightful, trustworthy and genuine. I'm kind of out there sometimes, having very different views then most of the people I know and I don't like feeling judged. Feeling like I'm accepted, supported and heard are huge for me! When I've had a troubling moment during my week, or a healthy insight that provided me a moment of accomplishment, I look forward to the next appointment to share it.
