They made me feel very comfortable. What I was most impressed by was when I saw Dr Musbah as I needed antibiotics, I am allergic to penicillin so there are not many antibiotics I can take, I'm normally prescribed Biaxin, but Dr M said I shouldn't take that one, as it reacted to other medications I was taking--making them less useful & functional. I can't believe no other Dr, even my family Dr ever caught this. I am happy to know that Dr Musbah & the CareExcellence team have my back!

I was suffering from mental health issues and when I disagreed with my original family physician's treatment plan, I decided to seek a second opinion. Calling SpringView Edmonton Clinical Practice, I was greeted by the friendliest voice of Gloria Lee, who booked my appointment. On my first visit, Gloria attempted to reschedule my visit as Dr. Wu had a family emergency. However, after explaining my urgency to see Dr. Wu, Gloria made an exception. Dr. Wu listened intently to my condition, signs and symptoms. He is both informative and asked questions to further understand my health. I felt there was mutual respect and collaboration towards my new treatment plan. What is more remarkable is that I felt that I could trust Dr. Wu even when he didn't know my full medical history. During my second visit, we started the new patient intake process. However, due to the complexity of my current condition, Dr. Wu made it a priority to further discuss my treatment plan and made adjustments accordingly. Dr. Wu's bedside manners are excellent. His priority is patient care first. In my opinion, Dr. Wu and Gloria are both professional and they both believe in supporting patients to achieve the highest level of healthy living. Their passion to do what is right, to the best of their ability, is evident by their big heart to serve the Edmonton community. You may book an appointment to see Dr. Wu at SpringView Edmonton Clinical Practice on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday. They close on weekends. Gloria is mindful when booking patients and tries not to double book appointments to ensure sufficient doctor to patient visit time. Unfortunately, this is a huge downfall in other medical clinics which creates very long wait times or even worse a doctor who rushes to see the next patient. Always put full energy into his time with a patient. Recently, he has saved my father! My father had complained of short breath and Dr Sun then sent my father for an X-Ray on his lung. The lung check was done around 9 am, and Dr Sun had called us in at 11 am to give us his diagnosis - Pneumothorax. At the same time, he was getting in touch with the experts in Royal Hospital. He then got the expert opinion to admit my father into hospital in time. In the early evening of the same day, my father received a tubing procedure very quickly to remove the air inside his lung which had led his lung to clap. It could be dangerous if the air bubble pushed his heart. My father was discharged by the hospital the third day after the tube was removed. I go in at 1:02 as they stated they start taking walk ins at 9am or 1pm. when I got there I was notified that it would be a half hour wait as they only had one doctor and I said that's fine and I asked to wait in my car since the wait room chairs were full, (there's only a few) and the admin said that was fine and would call upon my turn. after an hour wait I go back inside to see why its taking so long just for the other admin to notify me that there's still 14 people ahead of me and I asked how that's so when I got here at 1:02 and they only start taking walk ins at 1 and that the other employee had told me when I got here it was only a half hour wait. she proceeded to tell me that everyone else started registering at 12:30 and that it will still be a 2 hour wait. Dont come here if you're indigenous as they will just put you to the bottom of the line. The doctor I seen to get my req for bloodwork also seemed in a rush and didn't really want to hear about my concerns.

Only a long phone menu and maybe a phone medical appointment with the doctor available. Only know the one doctor amongst many there, and he's fine. But getting a message through to and from him is more than difficult. Seems a management problem rather than medical. I'm old enough to remember the original Dr. Justik, and he'd be rather disappointed in what this clinic has become.

I was taken in about 5 minutes before my appointment time even though the waiting room was packed. I did spend about 25 minutes past my appointment time alone in the exam room, however the doctor came in apologizing profusely saying she had to spend a little extra time comforting her last patient, totally understandable. I've recently started seeing Dr. Mcevoy (spelling?) and she is absolutely wonderful. She's caring and listens and explains and thinks out loud as to what her thoughts are and courses of action - "hmm, we could try this, what are your thoughts?" and so on. She even sat there and googled images and explained about my neck issues and how muscles and discs lead to pain, pointing out where my issues were. The reception can be a little blunt at times and I was given the wrong date for my last appointment and missed it. Lesson learned, phone a couple days beforehand to make sure. I am very conflicted about my doctors office. My doctor is great. She always takes time to answer…read morequestions, is very thorough in answering and is super friendly. That being said -- I can't stand the receptionists here. They are really rude, barely give you a smile when you walk in the door. Whenever you have questions, they are very short with you and give you very little information. Also, it does not seem to matter if I make an appointment early in the day, or at the last appointment spot, I am always kept waiting. Today I went in for a 9:15am appointment and I was told to come half an hour open. When I showed up at 8:45, the door was still locked! The receptionist finally came to open the door for me, but I was confused as to what I was doing there so early. I wasn't brought into the exam room until 9:30 and my doctor didn't see me until 10:00am, a full 45 minutes after my appointment time. I was super frustrated.

It is not the best area in town, in fact I walked the beat as a cop there many years ago and have many fond memories of the neighborhood and the people there. Realizing that the family doctor I had for 35 years, was nearing retirement, I began the search for a new doctor. I honestly feel like finding Dr. T was like winning the lottery. I wish I had found someone like Dr. T many years ago.

While highly intuitive and observing, he won't jump to conclusions before he's gotten the necessary x-rays or MRIs to be absolutely sure. But his initial diagnosis has always been spot on. He's a friendly doc who, unlike many docs, isn't rushing in and out of rooms. He takes time to talk with you. He's older, so he went to med school about 40 years ago but keeps up on all the recent research. When you come into his office, he is usually at his desk doing some reading of the latest medical journals. It's probably why he has so many patients and can't accept new patients. Also if he knows you don't have a medical plan he's very generous with samples from pharmaceutical companies.

Since approximately 2018, I have experienced ongoing difficulty reaching the clinic by phone after a longstanding pattern of not receiving callbacks after leaving voicemail messages. Calls frequently go unanswered, and voicemail messages are often not returned. This has been a consistent pattern over several years, resulting in limited ability to reliably contact the clinic regarding patient care concerns. On the occasions I have reached "Pat" (office assistant), I have been told she is busy. However, when I attend the clinic in person she has not appeared to be occupied with patient related tasks and has instead been conversing with staff or not engaged in work at the front desk. I have spoken to other patients that attend this clinic and they have the same complaints and find it highly annoying. This creates a barrier to accessing care and communicating with the office. Based on my experience, patients should be aware of communication challenges when dealing with this clinic.
