My daughter is not one who warms up to strangers easily but Kami has a way with children and in no time she had my daughter laughing and giggling away and how great the pictures came out. Kami did a wonderful job capturing my daughter's personality on print and everyone who saw the pictures commented on how "alive" the pictures are. One thing that directly impacted that would be the DJ we chose. We went through tons of DJ's (there are a lot out there) and each one said "we will play good music!" Great, but until you have seen the DJ in action it is actually pretty hard to decide. I went to a wedding where the couple said their cousin is a DJ. That cousin was a person playing music from their phone. Plugged into a soundbar. From Pandora. With commercials. By the way, get Geico if you want to save 15%. In any case, my wife and I relied heavily on reviews to discern the difference. Reviews for All That Events were great and after a talk with Zeke, we decided to go ahead with him. He worked through the process with us, we gave him our do not play list and a few songs that were must plays. Then the rest was up to him. We got distracted with TONS of other things and then it was our wedding day. Zeke showed up early and set up. Fast forward to the reason you are here, the party. When I say that Zeke laid the groundwork for a great night, that's an understatement. Seeing your 85 year young Grandma-in-law gyrating on the dance floor to Swedish House Mafia, Priceless. Zeke did an amazing job of feathering the slower/classical music in the beginning of the night and transitioned to faster paced and fostered such a great party. Glow sticks were a flying, grandma's were a gyrating, and there hardly was anyone sitting. I don't like to endorse anything/anyone who I don't fully believe in. I don't write many reviews. When I choose to write a review, I do so because I hope my review can help out someone else navigating the Atlantic sized pool of vendors. We hired DJ Sensations for our wedding ceremony and reception on 09/17/17. Jose was friendly,…read moreresponsive to messages and emails and accommodated our ceremony songs and surprise dance song for bride/groom and groom/mother. When my husband and I originally met Jose we were looking forward to working with him for our wedding day. For our wedding day Jose seemed really nervous for some reason and he did not provide us with a microphone for the ceremony like he had told us when he first hired him. All of our guests complained that they were not able to hear during the ceremony. Thankfully our videographer placed a camera microphone above us discreetly so that there was audio in our video. Jose and I went over the timeline of the wedding day and I explained it to him a couple of times and he told me understood, however the day of the wedding he had the timeline mixed up. He did not announce to my guests when it was time to cut the cake so unfortunately many of our guests missed this special moment and were very upset. Most of the guests were Latino so I had told him to play mainly Spanish music with a few English songs here and there. I believe he can improve in his Spanish music selection. We gave him a gobo to display for our wedding but I don't think he set it up correctly, it looked very awkward the way he displayed our gobo so the gobo design did not display as beautifully as I have seen in other weddings. When we first met Jose he showed us all of his equipment and he had all of these cool set of lights that would add this vividness to the venue and he had told us he would set it up for our wedding however the day of the wedding he did not set them up. He didn't really engage/entertained our guests. I was disappointed with him for our wedding day. I wish I could give him more stars but he has some improvement to do. What I am mainly upset over is not having a microphone that he told us he would provide and the worst thing is that our guests could not hear what we were saying. Overall, I had an OK experience with DJ Sensations. Needs to do better.

We had criteria, reasonable pricing, rights to the photos, and no time limit charging.... Not only does Tallen cover all of that... They went ABOVE and BEYOND! Right off the bat the inquiry email was replied to with a friendly demeanor. No cut and paste "here's our pricing" forms. We got TWO photographers, which is awesome because while one is taking posed photos, the other is snapping candid photos (those always make for great photos.) The price was awesome! Both photographers were professional, fun, happy to be there, and creative with posing. They were patient and not once did my family feel like they were rushing us. The photos are amazing!!!!! We had a long list of shots and poses we wanted, and they made sure every photo was covered the way we wanted it to be done. My family is one that isn't picky with things, but when they find someone or something they love we stick with it. EVERY family member commented even days later that they will use Tallen Photography for every event from now on.
