What does that mean you ask?...well, it's dank, a little smelly and it gets really hot in the summer due to no central air. If you are buying, selling or getting your mortgage refinanced in the towns of Billerica, Carlisle, Chelmsford Dracut, Dunstable, Lowell, Tewksbury, Tyngsborough, Westford, Wilmington you're probably have to come here to sign some documents. You can park in the street just beware that the area is a little sketchy and don't leave anything exposed in your car seats (ie gps, handbag, etc.). There are allot of smash and grabs in this area.

What a beautiful reinvention of the VFW in Fresh Pond! I used to participate in various activities that took place at the old VFW - an old, dirty looking, wood paneled, dimly lit hall. It didn't have much to recommend itself. My family recently rented out the hall/bar here to have a party. What a nice surprise when I walked in! Well lit, clean, new and roomy! The hall had tables that easily held the people attending (40?) for a sit-down meal that we brought with us. My parents provided a sound system and half the room was left open for a dance floor. The bartender that we had, Barbara (?) was awesome! She went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. The commercial kitchen that is available for use with hall rental is a great size. About a million degrees, and unfortunately the freezer was not on when we arrived so the dessert didn't make it (in a solid state) being stuck in the ice machine! Barbara later told me that there was a freezer behind the bar we could have used- next time! The bathrooms were well kept, and even with loud music and a couple kids running up and down the hall, nobody batted an eye at our presence. A great place, with plenty of parking for a party!

He worked with my extremely elderly father to disinherit two of his three children, as well as his only grandchild. This lawyer (Gosselin) has studied abroad, so he certainly knows this would be illegal in many countries. But , with zero communication, Gosselin worked with an extremely elderly man to create a destructive and chaotic estate plan. Somehow, the town lacks a moral compass. Sweet on the surface, and rotten within.

Leading up to our event, a funeral, she let the caterer's know that they could show up an hour early to set up, great, except that she was planning on charging us an additional $300 for that hour. She added this charge without checking with anyone in the family. When we show up the day of the event she is not in the building, does not greet or direct anyone. The caterers were waiting in the parking lot. Flower deliveries had come an gone, bouquets and displays just chilling on the sidewalk. And wasn't like it was early, we were there at 1pm. We were told that use of the parking lot is included in the rental price and that it would be empty of us the day of. It wasn't anywhere close to empty The PA system didn't work and she did not know how to fix it and she didn't really seem to care that it was broken. If you're going to use the space, and you should, its a fantastic venue, just be ready to do a lot of things yourself. If we came in from the start knowing that we would've been responsible for setting up/breaking down, that would have been fine, we would've planned for that. But Patsy told us several times that she would be coordinating these things. It was incredibly frustrating to show up on the day of the event and nothing is ready, open or functioning. In spite of this, we ended up having a great event in a truly amazing space. If Arlington had a different person coordinating events for this space, this would very easily be a 5 star review.

Covered Bridge Lane is a new subdivision in the Town of Wayland. The developers cutesy idea, to…read morehelp sell his development of over priced over sized cookie cutter houses on postage stamp lots, was to build a covered bridge over the stream which would help promote the "semi rural" feel of the town. Knowing that "semi rural" was the buzz word that would make town officials swoon. The developers then put up "private way" signs, discouraging riff raff like me from driving over this bridge and taking photos. I'm guessing my tax dollars pay for plowing and other road maintenance. As far as covered bridges go, this one is 100% new and modern. But was tastefully done so it kinda looks like it has been around forever. I'm trying to remember when it was built. My guess is it's around 5 years old. So 2012.

If you are buying a house or selling your house you are familiar with the registry of deeds. This is the government county hub that actually takes the documents that are prepared by your attorney and records them and makes it public that a conveyance has happened. Any legal matter regarding your property will get recorded here. So if you are refinancing your mortgage, the new mortgage documents will be recorded at the registry. You can go online to every county registry of deeds in our state and find the documents for your own individual property. This registry is in the New Mill buildings of Merrimack St in Lawrence and is a much better location than being in the old courthouse location. It was seeded and dangerous before and now is new, clean and easily accessible with plenty of parking in the Mill Lot. There is plenty of seating for researchers who are doing family research or title examiners and attorneys who need to do work here.
