    This the carnitas

The service is quick! The prices are amazing! Coming from Oklahoma I was amazed. We got three burritos, three Mexican cokes and a donut for $21 Tortillas are made in house and the choices of meat are extensive. If you not a spicy type person then be careful cause these MF pican (Espicy)! So make sure to ask spice level. They also sell the tortillas, again the prices on those are great!

This place is a hidden gem. They close at 3:00 pm so get here early or it will be very likely that they run out of pastries and food. The burritos are so good and only around 4 bucks. Great authentic Mexican food made with what tastes like home made tortillas. But beware... they are spicy! So make sure to ask without salsa because they automatically add it. One of the only places where you can find colitas de Pavo and they also sell out fast. Oh and remember, eat away because it could save you from a possible kidnapping.

Water refilled promptly, which seems rare these days. You're never rushed - ask for your check when you're ready. Not quite a fine dining environment, but it's close - it straddles elegant and cozy/family-owned in a very nice way. Suitable for special occasion dinners, etc. Food has always been good - I've tried two different combos and liked both. Beans and rice are solid! I think the gorditas are particularly well done here - light, airy, crispy, well drained of grease. Also, if you like crispy tacos (which I associate with SoCal), they do those here well also. Their enchiladas are good, but I like them better elsewhere. If you like a mild sauce, you might love them here. My friends love the flavor of the caldo de res here (however it's made with deshebrada-style meat rather than shank.) I'll try this on a winter visit. I'm also curious if they make their own mole - if so, that might be my next choice.
