My husband and I have jobs where we can't take CBD; super helpful owner assisted with us choosing drinks and cookies that did not have CBD. This is one of the cutest coffee shops in El Paso! All of the greenery in the cafe and the bright natural light makes for such an inviting and comfy space. You can buy some of the plants, including some of the propagated plants on the wall. The owner was incredibly helpful and educated us on the uses of CBD, CBG, and CBN. He even helped me figure out which supplements would be helpful based on my needs, and I was able to buy supplements there. Most of the pastry options are made with CBD, but there are non-CBD options. You can ask for CBD in your drink, but they aren't made with CBD. I had a brownie with and creme brûlée iced latte. Absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. I have my eyes on a few other pastries and flavors to try the next time I visit! Plus a plant or two I want to bring home with me. read more

I found this bakery after looking for a 420 friendly place near me while I'm visiting El Paso. I am soooo happy I made the 25 minute drive from my hotel. The moment you walk into this small unique space you can feel the positive, warm vibes. The entire space is filled with fresh greenery- beautiful plants, lights, soft music and chatter from the many guests. It's not only a bakery with CBD infused and non CBD infused desserts but it also has a plant wall (small trimmings of different species of plants in science tubes) that you can pick and choose from to replant in their "repotting" area. They have a wide variety of small plant containers as well as a small choice of aprons, incense etc. Very mindful set up! The owner was very kind, patient and although I understand the benefits of CBD , THC he explained clearly for me. Also made suggestions. I ended up over indulging and got 4 treats. 3 infused , 1 non. The lemon tart topped with fresh raspberry was my favorite! All infused are 25 mg of CBD. Ranging from $3 to $7. He also had a vending machine with CBD pills, oils, etc. 100% recommend this beautiful, quaint, family owned business! I will be going back before I head home! read more

About a month ago I was in town visiting my parents and needed a quiet place to work remotely. Of course I hopped on Yelp to see what local coffee shops were in the area and I chose to give Wake & Bake a try. The pictures can't even begin to describe how precious this spot is! It is literally the most peaceful ambiance I've ever stepped foot into a cafe. It's a horticulturist and anthophile's dream come true! So a 2 week time frame I have been back 3 times and even brought my mom with me once to sit and just chat over tea. The shop owner is incredibly kind and social. Stopping by each table to speak briefly to all the guests. 10/10. Please give this place a try! read more

There were some items to buy that were all made by local artists and family members of the owners. I have been here twice and each time was wonderful! The inside environment is very green and friendly, like you are working in a fairy cottage. It's the perfect place to catch up on work or read a good book. There aren't that many tables inside, but usually it isn't that busy. They also have a few tables outside. The noise level is moderate, so it is a nice place to talk with friends without yelling over each other. The plants lining the walls make it very relaxed, though it doesn't help my plant addiction. They let you buy the plants on the wall, which makes it hard for me to not take the whole lot home . The servers are very friendly, though usually it's only one person working. I haven't tried their CBD products, but their lattes and desserts were delicious. They also have a large parking lot since they share it with the apartments and other restaurants there, so it is never hard to find parking. They also have a good bathroom in case you are planning on staying a while, which is a relief since I have been to some cafes that are great except have no working bathroom or no parking. Overall, I love coming here and hope they stay at this location for a long time! read more

Let me Begin by saying how I was very excited to try this well reviewed and recommended establishment. Upon arrival owner/ Barista was speaking with another person more of a personal conversation and looked at myself and daughter nonchalant, without greeting nor urgency to attend to us. After 5 minutes of standing there( no one else on line) he continued his non purchasing conversation and continued to ignore us. I felt as if this was the 1960s where a White only establishment was making it known they didn't take kindly to people of color. We then walked out with him unbothered and unfazed by our obvious disdain for such blatant modern day racism. I was so disturbed and shocked, especially in the presence of my daughter how a beautiful City , with some of the most gracious people in El Paso , mostly of Latin decent,,, that we could experience a white male openly presenting his racial intolerance. Though we were ill treated, a patreon in this establishment soon followed us to apologize and showed such empathy and was sympathetic to our mistreatment at this establishment. I made it a point to write this review so that other People of Color know the treatment they may receive and should avoid giving your patriotism to a establishment that still upholds Prejudices against us in this day and age.
