He was able to sort through my complicated case and even had me get another EMG/NCS which showed much more detail than the previous one conducted by one of the healthcare giants. I was being forced down a human cattle shoot by a corporate Dr. What Dr. Campa offered at first was an unbiased view of what was really going on with me and made recommendationsfor treatment that I will greatly benefit from. His depth of experience has led me to a path of healing rather than jumping through hoops to get substandard or greatly truncated care. Dr Campa is a champion for his patients putting them before corporate profit. What Dr. Campa has been able to offer me after the initial consultation is cutting edge treatment that in my case has had promising results. He is a world class researcher in our backyard rite here in albuquerque. His genius with Neurology is immediately apparent and the no nonsense approach that he uses is refreshing to say the least. My whole trajectory has changed for the better with my orthopedic and neurological maladies. Dr Campa has helped me to realize a much brighter future. This is cutting edge research medicine. A few caveats go along with it. The results aren't guaranteed " common throughout medicine already" and most health insurance does not cover off label use of Cross linked Hyaluronic acid. PRP is commonly used in oral surgery to regrow bone. In fact that's where Dr. Campa got part of his idea for this research. I am looking forward to the next round of treatments with an enthusiasm renewed by careful testing and expert experience. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Campa and his practice

DISCRIMINATES AGAINST PATIENTS WHO ARE IN CHRONIC PAIN! TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!…read more It took me MONTHS to get an appointment with KATHARINE PICKETT, M.D. I had been having trouble finding good care at UNMH ever since my long-time doctor of more than a decade had retired. I went through the dog-and-phony show of DR. KATHARINE PICKETT'S complicated telephone system, finally speaking to a human being, then driving across town for the appointment, filling out a REALLY LARGE amount of paperwork, then getting ushered into a room and questioned by the nurse, then waiting for the doctor. THE JOKE WAS ON ME, though, because the nurse came back into the room and told me that DR. KATHARINE PICKET does not take any patients who take pain medication. Can you believe it? PICKETT did not even have the courtesy to speak to me directly. COWARD! I was REALLY upset. First of all, if this was the case, they should have said it to begin with. Since Pickett is discriminating against people in chronic pain and refusing to treat anyone taking pain medication, she ought to tell people before making them go through this excruciatingly embarrassing charade. Can you imagine how HUMILIATING it is to be treated like a DRUG ADDICT and told to go elsewhere? I am the squarest woman alive. I don't smoke or drink alcohol. I don't take illicit drugs. And I CERTAINLY don't play with my prescription medication! I have been on the SAME medication for about 10 years. Maybe more. I take it as directed, unless I forget or I have a rare "good day" when the pain is less, so I skip a pill now and then. I can guarantee you that if you do not play around with your medication and you take it as prescribed, you CERTAINLY don't get high! At most, you get some of your pain relieved. I realize that those damn drug addicts are busy blaming everyone but themselves for their drug abuse, but it is completely inappropriate for PICKETT to treat EVERYONE as if they are a drug addict! Well, I left that place HUMILIATED AND FURIOUS, went to my car and cried all the way home. To be treated like a drug addict, completely undeserved, has got to be against all medical ethics. It should be illegal - and maybe it is. You should only go to this doctor for treatment if you are sure you will never be in pain and need pain medication. If you can guarantee that you will never be in an auto accident or that you will never get cancer or serious arthritis, maybe you can risk it, but I don't know why you would WANT to take the chance. I CAN'T GIVE A WORSE REVIEW, OR I WOULD. TOO BAD THERE ARE NO "ZERO STARS." P.S. This doctor is no longer on Pan American. She has moved to the Lovelace building on Jefferson, NE.

I stopped by USA Pain about a week before my scheduled appointment and found the business closed with no info. Online searches led me to discover Lynx was now my provider. Every single time my appointment was over an hour and frequently over 2 hours. Decided to take first appointment of the day (7:30am), and 3 months in a row, Dr. Michael Pylman did not show and I was told "he'll do a telehealth session with you instead." Sure glad I came early and sat each time over an hour only to be told "he's stuck in traffic." BS. My time is valuable too. On Christmas Eve this year I was asked to bring in my meds for a "pill count." I specifically asked that it would quick - in and out, just to count pills. I'm a therapist and had only one hour that day to run over to their clinic and get back in time. When I got there I was told to also do a urine sample. I could not provide it and had not enough time to wait until I could. They wouldn't at least count my pills, and later I received a letter saying I had broken my contract by not peeing. I managed 5 satellite psychotherapy clinics in the Bay Area. If my employees couldn't make it to work on time, I fired the,. Apparently the management at Lynx doesn't care about professional ethics. Stay away from this place.

She wrote in my chart that I am an opioid addict and that she prescribed narcan (both of which are lies, and I am currently in contact with my PCP as well as waiting for calls back from every single board in New Mexico about Lauren. Not only have I ever taken an opioid pill (not even for my wisdom tooth removal), I told her straight out that I didn't want pills. She offered me ganglion shots or nothing, and then openly bold face lied about my drug usage. She also wrote that I have "treatment resistant anxiety" which is not true, I see multiple therapists weekly for my C/PTSD and anxiety, and if she were to actually read my chart then she would see that I have and always have had (since I've been going to my regular PCP at 9) a high heart rate with slightly elevated I would avoid Lauren at all costs, and that goes doubly for anyone who is immunocompromised; she refuses to mask and thinks she knows disabilities better than the people who have them. I would give her zero stars if I could. Absolutely the worst care I have ever received in my life. Before covid-19 killed my Mom and disabled me, she told me to never go to Lovelace because it was the worst hospital she'd ever been to. I should've listened, because not only was this a waste of time, but Lauren will be vindictive and lie openly about you in your chart. I will be taking drug tests to prove to my doctor that I take my gabapentin (for shingles post-herpetic neuropathy) as prescribed and the same with my Flexeril, both of which he was happy to prescribe me because this has been an ongoing issue since my first two covid infects in 2020. (Jan 2020 and then Oct. 2020). Lauren will make sure you don't get any care and she will do so gleefully.
