Since posting the original review, Mr. Orkin continued to contact us via email soliciting his services. We've repeatedly sent written notices informing him to remove us from his mailing lists and while he assures us each time that will happen, it never does. What he's likely unaware of is we make sure to report each violation to the Illinois Sec. of State and his email marketing provider. Ultimately, anyone looking for a mortgage shouldn't be concerned about fit, they aren't looking for a friend, they are looking for the best possible terms on what will likely be the largest single financial expenditure of their lives. What they need are competent providers that don't rise to the level of being reprimanded by the brokerage manager for unprofessional conduct. If you're in the market for a mortgage, you should seek the services of a professional other than Mr. Orkin.
