Every time I come here with my son, or if it's for me, I'm greeted with a smile. Sure, there's no one at the front desk to greet me every single time because everybody is a stylist, but there's always a friendly vibe, and I love it. Of course there's a wait. This place is pretty popular. I've never had to wait personally though. There's many talented professionals working here, and yes, the prices could be high because well it's Peachtree City, and you get what you pay for. I had one bad experience that I care not to talk about. All in all, I'm satisfied though. My son sees Carlos exclusively or perhaps maybe one other stylist. But I'm leaving this positive review because, in all the places that Peachtree City has, it is hard to please this 20-year retired Army major. Ryleigh gave my daughter (18) a cute haircut. My daughter wanted to go from long curly hair to short hair. She was nervous but Ryleigh asked her lots of questions and made her hair look just like the example photos she had. It turned out cute and my daughter was happy ! read more

A woman answered the phone and the first question she asked me was "is my hair thick and curly" because they don't do thick or curly hair. Got an amazing shampoo and blowout from Gabby. She did such a great job with my hair and was so kind and accommodating to what I wanted. I can't comment on cut or dyeing because I only got my hair washed and styled but i had an awesome experience from start to finish. I used to come here when Rebekah worked here and miss her dearly. Had to wait 30 min. The cut was not all that great. My hair actually looked better before the cut. At the end she didn't even hand me a mirror to look at the back. Probably knowing it looked awful back there. It looks shredded. I did not like my experience at all. There's a blunt cut looking like my kid chopped my hair off. Took about 15 minutes to cut and totally not worth $40. Update: called the owner and told him of the problem. He had me come in a couple of days later. He was super nice and took the time to get the mess straightened out. I am sure he saw that this was all messed up because the sections he grabbed where so crazy uneven. This was my second time getting my hair done and I went to Maggie for my first visit and she was so amazing and knowledgeable and gave me a great haircut and an amazing color. So this year I thought to make another appointment but unfortunately the only day that I had to get my hair done, she wasn't available. And so I thought that everyone was good there. So I made an appointment with Stephanie. And so my experience was the total opposite. Told her no blonde and thTs the first thing she gave me. Then used toner 3x having to rewatch my hair 3x. She seemed like she had no clue of what she was doing and did not listen to what I want. Horrible experience. My hair color is okay but not great and I'm not in love with it. Okay, so I have used Carlos Salon for many years. I have never had a problem but today has changed how I feel. This year is my daughters first pro. I wanted her to feel special especially after her dad passing. I made an appointment 3 weeks ago for my daughter to have her hair done for prom. My daughter woke up early excited for the day. When she arrived at the salon she was told by Carlos that she did not have an appointment and that they are not doing prom hair this year. So, her appointment was canceled. That would have been nice to know 3 weeks ago. My daughter was in tears and I was left to scramble to find someone last minute. I am not a happy mama. I loved getting my hair done by the girls at Carlos Salon but it seems now I must take my business elsewhere. Being insensitive towards others has it's cost. read more

It's my second trip to Carlos Salon and I'm not disappointed. I went out on a limb with the first visit for a short undercut haircut (I'm not afraid to experiment) but still want to look stylish, on trend, but professional when needed during M-F. Rebekah is young but amazingly confident about her skills. She did an amazing job and I know because I've had my Masters Cosmetology license for nearly 40 yrs. I've been through quite a few stylists in my time. Finally I have found someone I'm going to stick with. Today, I'm getting base color and highlights. I am not one to write reviews, but I feel as though everyone needs to be aware so that this does not happen to anyone else. I will start by saying I do not recommend this salon. I went in for a haircut last weekend, I believe I had a hair dresser named Stephanie cut my hair. My appointment was at 2:00pm and I was not called back until 2:15pm, which is fine I understand getting behind happens. What I found unacceptable was the fact that she rushed through my entire haircut, proceeded to put me under the hair dryer while she finished her other clients hair, and then rushed to finish my hair cut because her next client arrived while I was still there. The worst part is, this is by far the worst haircut I have ever received. I am 28 years old, I have gotten a lot of haircuts in my lifetime, and this one makes me want to cry. It is so bad I intend to wear my hair in a ponytail until it grows out and that is a horrible feeling to have. It looks like she just chopped the top layer of my hair and left the bottom layer and decided she did not have time to blend the layers. It is horrible, I feel horrible, and I hope this does not happen to anyone else. She also cut my hair an inch and a half shorter than I asked and the layers are nearly 4inches shorter than I asked. Love love this place. Julie my hair stylist gave me exactly what I had asked for that never received from other salons in the area. I thought it was me until I walked out of this place, after she corrected the mistakes of the other salons, I was so ecstatic with the results and thrilled with the blow out too. She didn't need to use a straightening iron because my hair was so smooth and shiny. She gets the job done so quickly so I am not spending 3 or 4 hours getting highlights and color. The products used made my hair very healthy again despite all the incorrect processing and products from previous salons.I am so happy to have found this professional salon that cares about making you happy. I've been trying to find a new hair salon since I left my long time hair person in Vinings 9 months ago, as it was a long drive. I've been to five different places without success when I visited Carlo's Salon last weekend. Melissa cut & colored my hair & she did an awesome job! I believe my hair looks better now than it did with my long term person who took care of my hair for 9 years. Also, it was $55 cheaper. The salon is neat & clean. Plenty of parking. Maria ruined my hair. Totally ruined and the owner didn't know how to fix it. First she cut way more than I skied for and second and more important my hair is all chopped , nor form at all, I have to wear a pony tail until it grows back and some one can fix it. It's a great place with great stylists and my kid loves going to this salon. Unfortunately they have an email promotion for 40% off that everyday that is quite incorrect. They will advertise open slots on he email that comes out at 9 am everyday but if you call at 9 am, there is no one answering the phones. When they do answer the phone, they will tell you that the slots are already full but they can accommodate you at another time, at full price. It's a great promotion but poorly executed and puts their reputation at risk- if they were business savvy they'd do away with that false promotion. I'll probably still go but only with a prescheduled appointment and not based on the daily email. read more

I am a fairly new customer at Carlos Salon and Nick does a fantastic job on my hair! When I first came there, I had damaged hair and wasn't happy with my color. I explained to Nick about my dilemma and showed him a few pics of what I was looking for in color. The atmosphere is cold and the hairdressers are rude. Do not use the discount they offer through email. When you call to make an appointment for the email discount the stylist you get will not know that is why you made the appointment. They do not communicate with each other except to gossip.
