So when I needed service for my car I had scheduled car repairs service with them. I have an amazing experience with all of the Staff there. Lee has been an outstanding customer service skilled staff who know how to communicate with customers going through the stressful times during a car collision. Carl's was well-recommended and Tesla approved so we went to them them to repair our 2020 Model Y. It was a complicated repair that required skilled workers. After talking with a few of their people it became clear that they understood the problem and had the solution. After driving my car cross country, I picked up quite a few rock chips that I felt nervous about along the nose of my car. I initially called the Audi dealership that I take my baby to, and they gave me a few recommendations of where to go, and I visited each to see what they were like. After meeting the team at each auto body shop, I decided to go with Carl's. On my first visit, I met with Lee, and he walked me through each part of what happens if I decide to get my car fixed here. He also gave me a line by line breakdown of the quote, and didn't talk down to me just because I was a female or anything. After discussing the various quotes with my hubby, we both decided to call Lee back and book it. The day I brought my car in, they said the car would likely take about a week and a half, so we made plans to share a car. After one week, they called me up early and told me the car was done ahead of time, and I was thrilled with the news. Once I got back to the car, I thought their work looked great. After that I took the car home, and noticed dots of bubble in the tint on my front side windows, and conferred with my hubby if it was there when we dropped the car off. We were pretty sure that didn't preexist, so we called Lee back up and he told us to bring the car back and he'd look at it. When we got back, Lee and his team hemmed and hawed and told me they thought the bubbles preexisted. They tried to prove that they were there when I dropped the car off, but I drive that car every day, and the tint was only a year old so I'm pretty sure that I know my car and would have seen this before. Lee literally told me "I don't want to continue making this a pissing contest" whatever that means, and conceded that they will fix the tint. The tint company did call me to schedule the fix, however they booked me for a day and time and then didn't actually put it in their calendar so when I called the day before to confirm, they didn't have me anywhere scheduled. I'm not sure what is going to happen next, but if I went just by the work they did on the hood, I'd give them 4 stars. With the issue on the tint and windows being still up in the air, who knows what will happen next. Very mixed bag! read more

I got my car fixed about 2 years ago and they were great then (fixed quickly and fixed to a high standard). I called back present day to ask about the warranty because the bumper they had replaced had popped out of the tabs. They immediately said yup come down we can take a look. When I arrived, I worked with Brian and he was able to find out that someone had backed into my car but the impact was taken by my license plate. The car was done in two days and looked perfect, enterprise is right on site for car rentals. I had some other work done to it out of pocket while it was there. I dropped my car off, expecting it to be 1week, however, due to fault of the car manufacturer, it was almost 2 full months that I was without my car. The best thing of Carl's is the rental company is in the same building, so its a one stop shop for everything. While it took longer than expected, Carl's kept me updated, answered all my questions, and even did all the work to re-issue my rental car. I don't understand the negative reviews posted here. I own a business and I get positive yelp reviews as well as the occasional negative reviews, which hurt me personally, and I don't always understand them...I digress. I had an old BMW sideswiped while parked on the street a couple of years ago, BMW would not do the work and recommend Carl's in Fall River, I live in Newport so its a bit of a hike. It took two week to do the job, BUT IT WAS FANTASTIC. Not only that but I found the service very professional. I had to call the insurance company from there business, but they TOOK CARE OF EVERYTHING. The insurance adjuster came to carl's I wasn't even present. Very Happy. When my father got into a small fender bender, we took the VW EURO Van to Carl's again, they do not make a big deal of anything and handle everything very professionally. Took my car here after getting rear ended per recommendation of my insurance company. I dropped it off for appraisal and got my rental car while there which was very convenient. Ran over the remnants of an extension ladder on Rte 495 (never a good thing) and needed some body repair work. My Mercedes dealership (Viti) needed to provide some mechanical service on the car and then coordinate with Carl's Collision in Fall River for the body work. Lee Camara at Carl's effectively and efficiently handled all of the coordination from insurance adjuster to over seeing the car through the repair process at his facility. The whole process was flawless due to the efforts of the entire team at Carl's! Car returned today and could not believe the quality of the work performed and the condition of the vehicle- looked as though it had come out of a detailing session! I was rear ended by a pickup truck on 195 in Providence causing significant damage to my car. From the trunk lid to the frame by the rear doors. Carl's was recommend to me from my dealerships Newport Hyundai, it was also one of my insurance providers preferred venders. I dropped off the car at Carl's three weeks later I had my car. I never had to do anything. From what they told me when I dropped the car off they were going to break down the car and reveal all the damage then the adjuster would come in and approve all the repairs. When I picked up the car it looked as good as the day I bought it. I checked the damage in the trunks interior, the welds look like they originally looked, right down to matching the primer paint used in the the trunk interior. All the doors were gap evenly and the trunk was also perfect all the way around. I think the only way someone would know the there had been an accident is if I told them or Carfax did. I met with Lee and he looked at my car and mirror and told me to go inside and he will get back to me in a little bit. I just had some work done on a car because a tree fell on it. One of the repairs was to replace the windshield. We got the car back, and while driving we turned the heat on, and all kinds of glass and glass dust came out from the vents. We had a newborn baby in the car! We were thankful to have had our sunglasses on in the front. They forgot to vacuum the vents! read more

This place is horrible do not take your car here. Horrible customer service, horrible service. We brought our car here after an accident, they said it would take 7 days to fix it. 7 days went by no phone call nothing car not done. Called them and they said another 3 days, another 3 days went by no phone call nothing again. Called them again, oh just another day. Finally it was "done". Picked up the car and the hood emblem was put on completely off center, like so bad that anyone would notice it, it was overlapping the spot where it goes in the grill. The cruise control was not working at all. Called them up and said oh it will be another 2 days to get that fixed and they did not want to give me a rental for those 2 days until I threatened them with the BBB. I would never take my car there again, I would never even recommend my worst enemy to take their car there. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS unless you feel like having aggravation and head aches. read more
