I made an appointment at Rob's Auto after I had gotten an appraisal from the dealer to repair my car. I brought it to Rob's and was very pleased with timely and fantastic service. PLEASE READ -- My '05 Honda Accord was off the road for 9 months due to working remotely. It needed an inspection sticker, an oil change and an overall check-up after being off the road for so long. (I also had to have it towed by flatbed from my home to Robs.) I have nothing but POSITIVE things to say about the entire experience. They did EXCELLENT work in a timely manner and communication was excellent from start-to-finish. The car needed some additional work, which they took care of immediately. They didn't 'ring me up' or 'add' mysterious labor and/or charges. Everything was explained clearly from the get-go and it was 100% necessary work to get the car back on the road. (The throttle body was shot and stuck open after 17 years of lovely New England weather and the resulting rust.) If you want a mechanic you can TRUST, one that does great work and one that actually cares about its customers, go to Robs Auto Care! I've been here twice and both times it was a super positive experience, which I never say about a mechanic! The first time he could've charged me hundreds of dollars for a fix, but instead informed me that the warranty on the part had been recently extended and I should go to my dealership; spot on, got it repaired for free. The second time, I dropped my car for an oil change and an inspection, and he patched my tire without me even asking (a problem I had known about but was completely ignoring) so that my car would pass. The price is lower than anywhere else, and I truly trust these guys. read more

Rob's Auto Care just saved. We tore the undercarriage engine cover off our car. Problem was, there was one piece left, rubbing against something and making a horrible noise. We drove to the nearest shop - Rob's - to see if it could be taken care of. The mechanic was friendly and helpful, and about 5 minutes later the problem was solved. He didn't want to charge us but we insisted he take something. A problem that could have ruined our whole day was instead taken care of quickly and painlessly. read more

If you are on a schedule, don't even consider bringing a vehicle here. It will sit and then you will pay well over the suggested retail costs for parts and the labor. My job was not completed and I will bring my vehicle to the dealer for review and repairs. read more
