First time eating at this fast food restaurant chain and I was not impressed. Ambiance -- the place was clean; and if you don't mind the Mexican music blaring on the background, then, all's good. Service -- The attendant was courteous and helpful since I didn't know what to order. The brought the food to where we were sitting so that was a plus too. Food -- In comparison to other fast food chain, their food items are not in the same quality food league. Ordered: 1) Double famous star combo -- the frozen patties still looked frozen [not even brown but whiteish] and there was more bread and lettuce than patties. Fries - good. 2) 5-piece hand breaded chicken tenders -- these were not hand breaded and they were very greasy tasting too. For the quality of the food, I found it to be overpriced as well. Stopped here for dinner. Ordered the chicken club sandwich and a shake. The chicken sandwhich was delicious and had great flavor. I did remove the Swiss cheese and added American cheese. Cannot believe they charged 70 cents to replace the cheese. That seemed crazy. The strawberry shake was really good. Refreshing on a hot evening! I would order again both items. Being a gal from California and growing up with Carl's Jr , I was beyond excited to check them out. I drove 20 mins to get here. It was busy, but not crazy busy and I only had 4 people in front of me in line. I'm giving 3 stars for the reason that the wait for my food took a really long time for fast food standards. It was to the point where someone came out from the back and finally gave me my to go order and had to apologize for the wait. I don't know if they missed my order or what, but I was disappointed because of that. Now my western combo was delicious. Just like home. Obviously, if you're dining in, this place is casual LOL. When I saw there was finally a Carls Jr in Miami I was so excited because I've only experienced them on the west coast and I always raved about how great their burgers were but boy was I disappointed. I came to the drive thru with no cars infront of me and was greeted with one of those new A.I. voices taking my order, after placing my order I pulled up to the window and waited about 6 minutes before someone finally came to take my payment. In the meanwhile cars had started piling up behind me. It took me over 10 minutes to receive my food. For fast food standards that's very slow but I gave them the benefit of the doubt cause I was thinking about the quality of the burgers but that was not the case here. When I finally got home I realized they forgot to give me one of my large fries. I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich, a double cheeseburger and a double jalapeño. The burgers were pretty good I'm not going to lie but the chicken sandwich was dry Af. I had to drench it in honey mustard just to get it down. It's nice to have a good burger option in Miami but the time it took to get my order and the lack of service really ruined it for me. Hope they can redeem themselves cause we could really use an alternative to all the other fast food places down here. West coast still has the best burgers read more

First time here. This is an L.A fast food franchise. I got the Double Famous burger. It was juicy and messy. Just how I like it. I should have either order the single or no combo, since I couldn't finish my fries. They served us really quick. It is brand new so everything looks clean and nice. My husband tried the chicken tenders and said it was the best chicken tenders he has had in a while. FYI: their Bbq sauce tastes just like Mc Donald's and Larry said their honey mustard tasted like the one from TGIF. I removed one star from the review because the French fries were salty and the strawberry lemonade had too much sugar, but I would recommend it. read more

I was surprised when a friend told me there was a Carl's Jr in Doral. Usually Carl's Jr is in on the West Coast and Hardee's is on the East Coast as there a both own by the same corporation and there menus are 90% the same. In any case the place was clean, they didn't have the Mushroom'N Swiss that Hardee's has but the food was great. The only complaint was the the service was too slow, it took 25 minutes to get my order in. Hopefully when I return they will have things running smoothly since they only have been operating here for a month! read more

I think I was a little harsh giving it three stars in the first review. Everything in my first review still stands but I tried it today again, this time I compared BK burger right after. I think the charbroil grill flavor, whatever it is, adds a bit more flavor than the flame broil conveyor belt BK uses. Not much but there is a difference there & the cheese is always melted, never lukewarm. I also appreciate the extra wrapping they give you. Makes less of a mess. This time I got a premium burger but the buns still came smooshed down. Is this standard operating procedure? What I can't understand is why would you claim charbroiled when it isn't? You use flame broiled as in gas grills. P.S. I can see people get sent to park in the parking spaces in front of the fire hydrant. There's two that you a park in but the third one isn't parking. I was excited to try this place out, after arriving at the establishment it was over very clean but much smaller than I thought. Heads up if you wish you come here half their menu is not available and the whole staff team seem to be new to the whole food industry. All seem very clue less on how to do anything. I waited one hour and 30 minutes to receive my order, only reason I waited is because I already made the drive and wanted to try out the food. And I must say the food was not worth the wait. I would never come back here again, and I would advise anyone else to stay clear from here. YAY! Car's Jr is finally here in Doral, FL! It's the only Carl's Jr in Florida. I use to live in Los Angeles, and I would always go to Carl's Jr for their yummy burgers. Well, I went today since they opened today. OMG! This location didn't disappoint. I got a Western Cheeseburger for breakfast and enjoyed it. The fries were great too! The place was neat n clean and the staff were friendly n professional. I'm so happy they are finally in FL and hopefully Carl's Jr will open more locations around FL. BTW, Carl's Jr is NOT Hardee's. I was very excited to get a Carl's Jr. in Doral. I really enjoyed the cowboy burger combo. The food was very good. I was rather disappointed with the use of AI to order in the drive-through. It was annoying to repeat your order 8 times to a robot that gets everything wrong 90% of the time. I think restaurants should just use people, not robots to receive an order. It took an hour to order two combos with AI. That's just ridiculous. The ambiance of the restaurant was great but it was overcrowded. I hope they keep the same menu the West Coast has. read more

I took a day trip to Miami from Delray Beach and decided to stop by Carl's Jr and to say I was disappointed was an understatemen. I arrived around 1130 am there were a couple people sitting eating and I guess either 2 managers or a manager and owner sitting talking. I ordered and went to use the app that had a welcome coupon and it didn't work so the cashier went to the management and asked how it worked and they told him they don't accept the app on Thursday through Saturday which I find odd.so I said what ever just ring me up. everything is overpriced I paid like 17 dollars for 6 chicken stars onion rings a burger and a soda. next the amount of time it took from ordering to receiving food was 19 minutes. the service from the cashier was good the management was not they didn't even acknowledge me but acknowledged other people that came in after me which is whatever. now for the taste and food quality, the coke tasted good the onion rings were over cooked and very bland the chicken stars tasted like the frozen chicken nuggets that you can get from the grocery store like Walmart brand not even a quality brand like Tyson or anything of that nature and the reason this review got a 2 instead of the 1 is the burger it was decent not great by any means. needless to say it was a disappointing trip to Carl's Jr. would I return? i highly doubt it. would I recommend it NO. read more
