I don't know what was going on this particular day (2/28/2024) but they were having some problems. I ordered my usual Western Bacon Cheeseburger combo to eat in the dining room. It took longer than normal but I finally got my order (receipt is time stamped 3:45, burger photo 4:03). They normally take your food out to you but the young lady behind the counter called my number so I went up to get my food. She seemed a bit grumpy. Whatever... everyone has a bad day from time to time. My food was in a to go bag. Oh well, I was hungry so I took it and sat down. As I started to eat my burger, something didn't seem right. It was more... "bready" than normal. I needed to get back to work so I kept eating. About halfway through, I noticed there was considerably more bun than beef patty left so I opened it. The attached photo is what I saw. I don't know what that was. I can only guess that the burger assembler put a Happy Star patty on a regular bun or something along those lines. I considered complaining to the young lady at the counter but as I said, she appeared to be a bit grumpy so I decided to find a way to complain to Carl's Jr. Corporate instead. My French fries were super hot, like fresh out of the fryer hot. They had a really good, crisp taste to them. My super star was also really hot and had a good taste to it. It started off perfectly as it did the other two times until one of the absolute most disgusting unsanitary thing happens when we were about to leave. A homeless man that we have seen every time outside (in the provided picture) came in and sucked on the soda dispenser with his mouth like it was a cows utter. Wait time is insane, it usually takes about almost 10 minutes sometimes more just to get a car moving, if you're the last one in line and there's 5 cars ahead of you forget about it and also, you know the coupons you get from Carlsjr in the mail? This is a Carl's Jr. like all others. This one in particular had good service and the order was perfect. My only concern was an armed guard on premises? They have a deal right now that a few different items are 2 for $5.00. Chicken stars are on that menu, when I order 2 six piece chicken stars it is supposed to be $5. They have been charging me 10 full price when I said something to them they said oh yeah. So really the customer has to remind you of the deals you have a fucking picture of on your window.
