Service could definitely improve! Ordered two sets of food, the first came and the staff took the number and started to walk away. I said I assume the other order is coming? She says oh I guess yeah what'd you order? I told her fries and a shake and she said let me check. More than 5 minutes later she drops the fries off. No apologies, just says I'll be back with the rest. My son and I are almost done with the fries and I get up to check on where the shake is. Right about then the same gal comes back with the shake and it's like half full - I ordered a medium not a small. Again - no apologies. They're not busy - one family in the dining room, two patrons after we ordered and one staff on break, in the corner. Very slow day for the drive thru as we could hear the orders come through a speaker from the back so I could understand if it was super busy and service would be slow but that wasn't the case. I recently visited this particular Restaurant located on 117th St. The Manager Sandra, along with her supporting Staff continuously exceed tge standard. While bringing their best. Sandra always (without fail) continues to excel in Food Preparation, as well as Customer service. The Staff also plays an integral part in making sure Customers' order done correctly, and in a Timely manner. I certainly appreciate the level of Professionalism I receive from Sandra, as well as the other staff members at this particular establishment. The 6 dollar burger is worth every penny. Fresh veggies and yummy burger. Their fries are just ok but they definitely have one of the best fast food burgers around. My son Mike and I stopped in tonight for a quick dinner. We are bacheloring it for the night since my wife is up in Seattle celebrating my daughter's birthday. Arely turned 20 yesterday. This is my favorite fast food restaurant. It is also conveniently located near my home and in the Lowe's parking. It just so happened we were replacing a toilet in our home so we were able to kill two birds with one stone. I ordered the Jalapeno Double cheeseburger combo for $4.99 . The burger was delicious but I probably shouldn't have eaten jalapenos this late in the evening. Oh well, Yolo. Mike have the breakfast burger combo. It's pretty cool how you can get breakfast items at anytime of the day at most restaurants these days. I also ordered a side of Jalapeno Poppers. The staff was very friendly and they had our order to our table before I could finish checking in on Yelp . The restaurant was being cleaned up to get it ready for the next day but it wasn't an inconvenience for us. Mike's burger must have been good because he devoured it before I could take a photo. My burger was delicious. It was a little on the spicy side so I will pay for it later. Regardless, that didn't stop us from having the tasty jalapeno poppers which were decent. Carl's Jr. is, in my opinion, a purveyor of truly outstanding burgers, by any measure. If you've dismissed it as being like McDonald's or Burger King, I'd recommend checking it out as there really is no comparison. Carl's Jr. is FAR better, in my opinion. This location is no exception. The burgers are big and juicy, and the vegetables always taste VERY fresh and good. While this location does struggle on occasion to get the orders correct, they generally get it spot-on. The staff is friendly and the food is delivered promptly. The only minor issue is the cleanliness of the dining room and the long lines in the drive-through. This is a VERY busy location, and as such, seems a bit understaffed. read more

So we took the family to get dinner at this establishment. Of course because of the pandemic we had to go through the drive through. With our order my son wanted to try the meatless burger they have and requested no tomatoes. And on my order I asked to have onion rings instead of the fries. So we waited in line and finally made it up to the payment window and paid for our order. I asked for a receipt and they told me that it will be in the bag. Well we pulled around and parked so we would eat out in our family van. Upon passing everything out we found that they did not give me the onion rings we had requested, nor did they even have the fries that would even come with it normally. And also there was no receipt in the bag like they said it would be. So I quickly went up to the door and knocked on the door. The person who answered was the same one that that I had just dealt with at the window and gave my money too. I let her know what the issue was. She let me know that she would go speak with the supervisor. Well she came back and said that they required my receipt. I let her know that I did not have the receipt as it was not in the bag as promised. She went back for about two minutes and came back and said that they required a receipt if they were to correct the issue. During this time there was a delivery truck there delivering supplies to this location. At this time I was told that my sons burger had tomatoes one it. So I told them about this too. I asked for the supervisor to come out so I could speak to them. They went back and came back and said that the supervisor was not available and that they could do no more for me. I became upset and did start raising my voice. She went back in and then came back and said that the supervisor would be out in a moment. A few minutes later a young man came out and said he was the supervisor. I again explained to him what the issue was and he said that they needed a receipt. I told him that I was not given a receipt as I had requested and then told it would be in the bag. He again said that they needed that in order to do anything. I told him to then go back inside and reprint the receipt as he could do that and then he'd have it. Again he said that there was nothing. At that point I started to yell and the delivery driver came over to me and started to argue with me that I needed to "Calm the fuck down and let them correct it." I let him know that they are refusing to do just that. He then continued to tell me that I was in the wrong. I asked him why he was even talking to me. Go back and stop butting into a conversation that he has no idea what is going on. It was at this point that the kid they sent out as the supervisor actually said that he was told to come out and act as the supervisor and that the supervisor was still in the store. Well eventually the supervisor finally came out to speak with me and said that they would refund the burger price and ended up giving me onion rings that were seriously cool. Just as we were finishing up and other customer pulled back up to the front as they had really messed up his order worse than mine. The first thing she said to him, "Where's your receipt?" To which the reply was, "I was not given one like I was told it would be in the bag." OH BOY! Well I quickly told him to hang in there as they had just done the same thing to me. But at least this time he was at least talking to the supervisor. I would hope you all would heed my warnings not to go to this particular Carl's Jr. The service is horrible and you'd be lucky to get your order correct. Also if you look at my last review from 2017, the one where my 5 year old daughter got a feather that was baked into the chicken nugget, nothing was ever rectified by Carl's Jr. and we were even told that we most likely placed the feather into the nugget! First off, I'd give zero stars but I can't give a review with out at least one. Also the young man taking the order was rude. I asked for my receipt and was not given it. The order was wrong after getting the food. When I called and asked for the manager the young lady on the phone would not say she was the manager and I had to ask again. She asked what was wrong and as I was telling her what was wrong she hung up. You could tell. Needless to say I am super disappointed and that will be the last time this family goes to that location and supports this establishment. $35 and all wrong. I can't believe that Carl's Jr is charging $1.00 for a debit/credit card fee! This is absolutely outrageous! Card fees are just a cost of doing business...IE: electricity, water, etc! It's like charging me an "electricity fee" for turning the light on when I use the restaurant's bathroom. Legislation has recently capped card transaction fees (to retailers) at $.21 plus 5% of the purchase. Carl's Jr is NOT passing this savings on to it's customers..... instead they're making a profit off of it's customer's chosen method of payment. This is a ripoff!
