2 minutes away, Brothers Cascadia Brewery is a hidden gem. Just go try their burgers and fries and you will get what I mean. Consistently great food, top notch service, no matter the day or time. Honestly, just make the simple decision to keep your hard earned money and skip Goon Burger / Irrelevant Beer. This "goon" burger only qualifies as a burger in some chaotic South Park fantasy. It looks like they really dropped it on the floor and called it a concept. The fries? Sad, soggy, barely seasoned, and completely forgettable. Now the best part: the hipster staff at both places. They take themselves very seriously. One of their newer employees, clearly aiming for Employee of the Month, decided to stop me while I was literally grabbing my food and leaving, just to tell me, in a smug tone, that next time I can't bring my dog. The funny part. I was already outside waited for my food away from patrons, then I grabbed my food, and was leaving right away. What exactly was the problem? Did my calm, happy dog disrupt the sacred burger experience? I laughed and said we'll see about that. You don't just randomly enforce a rule like that and talk to customers like that. I've been there plenty of times before with no issue. But apparently, after a very important team meeting about dogs they had just yesterday, they have decided that, even "pickup customers" can't have their dogs with them. Mate, you could have just said "hey, can you tie him outside next time?" Easy. Human. Instead, you went full authority mode over a mid burger spot. I won't be going back, not because I will miss anything, but because of that attitude. When people blindly follow rules without basic common sense, it just gets sad. I certainly did come here because of the name... Goon Burger is located inside Irrelevant Beer in the back and has a small kiosk screen to order from. I got the classic Goon Burger which is a double beef smashburger and fries. Took around 10 minutes to come out during peak dinner hours. I really liked the burger, name and all. I enjoyed how cheesy it was and the beef patties were really well cooked. I think they make their own pickles which I felt added a dimension to the burger. On the other note: Skip the fries. Way way way too salty. I only had a couple of fries before the salt really hit and I couldn't stomach any more. read more

The smashburgers are amazing at Goon Burger. Nice crispy edge with good flavor. The fries aren't fancy but they taste good except for the Jody Low Roller fries. Sorry, I cannot recommend them. The chili tasted like spaghetti sauce and had way too much mustard. And I like mustard. They're inside Irrelevant beer, so plenty of seating, and you can have a delicious beer while you wait. We were enjoying a drink at Irrelevant, but I knew I was going to get a burger. I ordered on the touch screen and waited. It was about 10 minutes and my food was ready. The burger was cooked so well, and I'm glad I got the extra patty. It was so flavorful I couldn't have stopped with just one. The fries were great too, cooked well and nicely salted. Delicious smash burgers! Service was good and fairly quick even though it was a busy Friday night. Located inside Irrelevant brewing, toward the back there's the walk up window. You order on a tablet and they call out your order. You can eat your food there, there's indoor and outdoor seating. Plus there's tasty beer to pair with the burgers. The patty was nice and thin, which is my absolute favorite! The burger gave grilled cheese vibes which was tasty. I got the goonburger (two patties, onion, pickles, lettuce, goon sauce) and we also go the Jody high roller fries. The fries had cheese and goon sauce on it. Such a fun and funny spot to get a burger. The service was fast and the bartender was very friendly. The impossible burger was cooked exactly how I like them! The audacity to have a self service kiosk and still ask for a tip. SMH. My teenage nephews were even like "tip for what?" they don't even take the food to you. Anywayyyy We all had the double burger, the meat quality tasted great. However the burger had zero texture, just mushy. Bread wasn't toasted, smash burger had no crispy edges, and all the toppings had zero depth. I couldn't distinguish the tomato from the lettuce from the grilled onions.. sounds weird but even at Burger King you can taste each ingredient on the whopper. Fries were crispy tho! We got both the reg and chili fries. Heads up, the chili on the fries had a strong curry flavor, some may not be into that. They're located inside Irrelevant Brewing. They make fast-food style smash burgers, chicken strips, grilled cheese, and fries. I had their signature Goonburger, and it was delicious. The toasted bun was good, too. If I was rating them just on that burger, I'd give them more stars. A few things they could improve on: -I wish you could get the Goonburger as a single-patty with the same toppings, but their single-patty burger (the "Lucille") has different toppings. We asked & were told it wasn't an option. -you order either online or at their window via a touchscreen pad with no interaction with the staff. We wanted light sauce on our burger, as we heard they put a lot of "goon" sauce on that burger, but there wasn't a way to request this via the touchscreen order system. So we finally got the attention of one of the workers, and the 3 young men working seemed confused as to how to help us with the request. When we got our burgers there was no goon sauce on either of our Goonburgers. Oh well. It was still very good. -their fries are just the standard fast-food frozen style you buy at the big-box stock up stores. Just okay. -they have some options with housemade chili, and our friends ordered the chili fries. When they tasted it they were unhappy because the chili tasted like it had curry in it, and they don't like curry. They asked about afterwards & were told yes, they put curry powder in their chili. They really should mention that on the menu description because not everyone likes curry & it's not something you would normally expect in chili. -all orders are packed to-go in paper wrappers & paper bags. It would be nice if they offered a dine-in option serving it on a tray, basket or plate to reduce waste. But I'm guessing they don't want to deal with washing more dishes. -they apparently don't respond to messages or questions via their social media Instagram posts/account. Prior to them opening a permanent location, they were regularly doing pop-ups at local breweries, but didn't have a menu posted on social media (and no website). I would comment on their post and sent them a DM asking if they would please pita their menu, but never responded. Eventually when they opened this permanent spot they finally posted their menu on Instagram. read more

Super annoying! you walk in and have to punch in your phone number and place your order on an iPad and then pay. no human interaction at all and no beverages on the menu. Then you walk over to the bar and order your beverages separately. You have to ask for non-alcoholic options as they have none listed. Burger was nasty and tasted like salt. Goon burger is a pop-up that operates on Tuesdays only at Thirsty Sasquatch on Main Street. They serve a great goon burger and fries. The menu is very limited after that. I would highly recommend getting a burger here. Smash burger style! The food pairs very well with one of the many beers that Thirsty Sasquatch offers. It seems to quite a few people are coming in only to get burgers and fries, but many people were enjoying their food while drinking in the bar area. Goon Burger operates out of the pizza restaurant portion of Thirsty Sasquatch and is open to all ages. According to The Columbian, they will only operate this way until February.
